The Donic Epox series blades are excellent, offering a balance of speed and a pleasant wooden feel.

For rubbers, I have equipped the forehand side with Tibhar Evolution MXP, which enhances looping capabilities. On the backhand, I use Sonex JP Gold, which excels in blocking and counterplay.

Having tested both the Epox TopSpeed and Epox Offensive blades, I can confidently state that the Epox series is exceptional. Notably, the Offensive blade exhibits a slightly reduced speed compared to the TopSpeed variant.

I have been using this blade for six months. It is an excellent blade for players who love looping, blocking, smashing, and topspin shots. The grip is very smooth, making it comfortable compared to other blades used by my friends (Butterfly, Stiga, Yasaka).

However, it is not recommended for defensive players who prefer pushing, chopping, and lobbing techniques, as hitting the ball far from the table may prove challenging.

Regarding cost, I believe it is a worthwhile investment. The blade is priced at $50, which is a good value for its quality.

Great blade for offensive players.

I have tested many blades through the years. Although the FL grip felt great, the blade felt and played like a brick. Too heavy (93g) and stiff, the ball feel was muted. Better blades in the Donic range are the Burn ALL+, Burn OFF-, Carbotec and Power Carbon, and Arotox line. Build quality for the Donic Epox Offensive is high, but unless you prefer a heavy, dull blade, other Donic blades are a much better choice.

Update: I ordered a second blade that is 87gr, much lighter than the first one. With the second blade, everything came together in a good way. It’s solid for blocks and provides extra spin for close/mid-distance looping. Sriver G2 or regular Sriver works great. Tenergy 64 and 05 are very fast on this one, and I had some control issues. I’m upgrading the overall score to 8, but remember to request a lighter one if you order.

Good blade, solid feeling when striking hard.

The best Donic blade that I have used in my life.

Blade: [Blade Name]

Specifications:

* Thickness: [Blade Thickness] * Weight: [Blade Weight] * Ply: [Blade Ply] * Composition: [Blade Composition] * Handle: [Blade Handle]

Review:

The [Blade Name] is an impressive blade. With its [Blade Thickness] and [Blade Weight], it offers a well-balanced combination of power and control. The [Blade Ply] construction provides a consistent bounce and a good balance of spin and speed.

The composition of the blade, featuring [Blade Composition], gives it excellent touch and feel. The [Blade Handle] ensures a secure and comfortable grip.

While the [Blade Name] is suitable for a wide range of playing styles, it is particularly well-suited for players who prefer a versatile blade with good all-around capabilities.

Really like this blade. Nice handle and shape.

It gives me a very good feel when it hits a ball.

It goes very well with soft rubbers, like Desto F3 bigslam, Baracuda big slam, and Acuda S3. It creates a very loud cricking sound when brushing or hitting a ball, which I like a lot. I have never tried this blade with medium or hard rubber, so I have no idea how it performs with those.

This blade was used by me last year. It is lethal for fast attacks but very disappointing for blocking or pushing. I now have the Persson Powerplay, which is better for blocking and pushing but more difficult for attacks. Therefore, I am still looking for the best of both worlds.

I would not rate this as an Off paddle. I had this paddle for a month and found it to be quite slow. However, the control was amazing, and the games I won were because of the control. It is also quite consistent.

This is a good blade and replaces my old Surbek Yess, which I am familiar with, as well as the Donic Senseo. It is well-balanced for all-around play with topspin control. I would prefer it to be a little lighter though.

An okay offensive minus blade, fairly stiff with decent control. Not too fast, pretty good at looping, okay at blocking. It’s a pretty stiff blade, though it’s just 5 plies. Stiffer than normal 5 plies. Overall, it’s pretty cheap though, not amazing or standout other than the looks.
