Donic has outdone themselves with this blade. The quality is superb. Despite weighing 90 grams, it plays light. It’s stiff, providing great feedback. The flared handle is exceptional. This blade is an excellent choice for hitters and mid-distant power loopers. The speed is between fast and very fast. It’s the finest blade I’ve purchased.

Superb with 1Q, or S1 on FH for great blocking, chopping mid-distance, or high-speed drives close to the table. Step back, and looping becomes effortless. It’s also ideal for combi players with inverted/pips due to its high blade thickness and carbon fleece construction.

If you want to increase your game’s speed with good control, this blade will not disappoint you.

This blade is incredibly fast but has moderate control. While the blade’s speed allows for powerful shots, the moderate control may require some adjustment for players who prioritize accuracy.

I have been playing table tennis (TT) for 4 years and have purchased several blades along the way, including the Butterfly Photino and the Tibhar Samsonov Force Pro. This blade makes a hollow sound when the ball hits the rubbers.

I used the same setup for both this blade and the Butterfly Photino: Donic Bluefire M1 on the forehand and Donic Bluefire M3 on the backhand. After playing a few sessions with this blade, here is my verdict.

I would say this blade is only 65% to 75% as fast as the Butterfly Photino. Despite being a very fast blade, the Butterfly Photino has more control. I often chop with the Bluefire M3, and the control is fantastic. Close-to-the-table soft-blocking has never been easier. I was not able to do it with this blade. Maybe I need more time to get used to it.

Here are a few things I like about this blade: 1) If you loop the ball correctly, it will generate a huge amount of spin and decent speed. 2) The handle is very smooth and comfortable. 3) It seems to be lighter than 90g.

I do not regret getting this blade. I will continue to play with it and try to update my review in a few months.

The handle provides a comfortable and smooth grip. The blade features a large sweet spot, making it easier to hit the ball cleanly. Despite its speed, the blade is easy to control, allowing for precise shots. Using this blade has significantly improved my game.

The blade is very fast, yet it offers nice control. It’s a very good blade overall.
