I was using the Donic Appelgren Allplay blade and wanted to upgrade to something a little faster without sacrificing control and spin. I chose the Donic Persson Seven blade for this purpose.

On my forehand, I am using the Nittaku Fastarc G-1 rubber, and on my backhand, I am using the Yasaka Rakza 7 rubber. I am very happy with this current setup and loving it!

Balance, speed, and control are key factors to consider when choosing a table tennis blade. Balance refers to how evenly the weight of the blade is distributed, affecting the overall feel and handling of the blade. Speed indicates how quickly the blade can generate power and accelerate the ball, while control represents the player’s ability to place the ball precisely and consistently.

Well-balanced blade that works quite well with the Tenergy series…

Better than most overpriced 7-ply blades on the market.

It is good for players who spin, not hit, the ball.

This is the second Donic Persson 7 wood I’ve purchased.

The combination with Mantra XH rubber and Donic Z1 was a perfect match and significantly improved my game.

Excellent blade. The FL handle is very comfortable and sits perfectly in the hand. For this price, you can’t find anything better. In terms of speed, it’s closer to OFF- than OFF.

This is an excellent quality blade for playing close to the table.

One of the best blades I have tried.

Excellent control for an OFF+ blade. For me, it falls between OFF and OFF-.

The blade offers both speed and control, with a great touch and feel.

The handle fits very nicely in the hand.

It’s a quality, all-wood blade.

The blade has power and speed when accelerating. It also offers good control with a nice feel.

The flared handle fits very nicely in the hand, and the quality of craftsmanship is evident.

This is a great price for a quality blade.

The DONIC Persson 7 is a good blade with high speed and good feeling.

However, it is too heavy. Mine weighed 102g, which is a lot.

Very good blade for this price. It is similar to the Stiga Clipper blade.
