Blade description:

This is an all-wood, 5-ply blade designed to provide a versatile playing experience for those transitioning from allround setups to more offensive play. It is recognized for its high build quality and provides a consistent feel across the entire blade surface, making it effective for both defensive blocking and aggressive looping or smashing.

Playing Characteristics

  • Feel and Dwell: The blade features significant dwell time and flexibility, allowing for high control during slower, technical loops and controlled hitting close to or at mid-table.
  • Speed and Versatility: While balanced, it offers enough speed for attacking when paired with modern tensor or performance-oriented rubbers. It excels at dampening the impact of incoming heavy shots, providing stability during blocks.
  • Handling: The handle design is relatively compact, which may require adjustment for players with larger hands. The edges may arrive with a sharp finish, and it is recommended to seal the wood surface to prevent splintering over time.

This blade is well-suited for players seeking a traditional wood feel, serving as a reliable alternative for those who find high-speed composite blades to be lacking in feedback or sensitivity. Its performance is highly dependent on the choice of rubber; pairing it with medium-to-high speed rubbers optimizes its potential for players looking to level up their offensive consistency.

Good starting racket, would suit beginners as well to level up their skill higher.
The handle is a bit small for my bigger hands. Also, I need to sand the sharp edges of the blade.

One of the best Nittaku blades out there, especially for the price. Latika was done after skiing this blade’s specifications, but I think it has more flex.

Fantastic blade with very good control. It dampens strong blows at the block, allowing you to play everything. It is easy to manage and made of very good materials. It provides good performance. I have two rackets, one with Mark V and the other with Rigan. Both are fantastic.
