Composite/carbon

A fantastic blade with a composition similar to the Butterfly Maze ALC and Mizutani Jun ZLC, except for the composite layer. It features aramid carbon, giving it a faster speed and a larger sweet spot compared to the regular Butterfly Maze.

The outer limba layer is thicker, providing a woody feel during gameplay.

This blade is lightweight, balanced, and comfortable to handle. It has a compact head shape, ideal for today’s heavy rubbers.

This blade is incredibly light and definitely the fastest I’ve ever used.

Blade Review

This is a remarkably fast blade, with the manufacturer rating it at 9/10 for speed and 6/10 for control.

After experimenting with various setups, the most effective combination was found to be Sonex -BH Bluefire M2 forehand. This setup outperformed Tenergy 5 -FH and Tenergy 64-BH. The superior control offered by Sonex -BH Bluefire M2 is likely the reason for its success.

The blade requires some adjustment for the short game. However, for advanced players who prioritize attacking play, this blade offers unrivaled speed.

Comparisons between this blade and the Michael Maze, TB ALC are valid regarding speed. However, while Butterfly blades are renowned for their control, the MF blade falls short in this regard.
