Blade: No 944
Weight: 85g
Price: 89 euros @ WackSport France

Overall Quality: Good

Design: Not particularly appealing

Setup:

  • Forehand: T05 2.1mm
  • Backhand: D05 1.9mm

Performance:

Forehand:

  • Powerful close to the table and at mid-distance
  • Excellent control in the short game
  • Effective against choppers

Backhand:

  • Good blocking ability
  • Requires more effort for high power shots

Cons:

  • Sweet spot is not comparable to Butterfly blades

Overall:

A decent ALC blade for a reasonable price. The T05 2.1mm pairing requires skill for control due to its high throw angle. Smash shots are unpredictable. This blade may be suitable for players who focus on spin and blocking close to the table and at mid-distance.

Basics

  • Weight: 85-86 grams
  • Flared handle
  • Edition: 0341
  • Purchased for $106 on TT11 (originally priced at $120)
  • Forehand/backhand: FastArc G-1 (Max)
  • Total weight with rubbers: 185 g

Pros

  • Excellent speed for power looping
  • Effective for opening up with slow spinning shots
  • Great for blocking with force
  • Requires precise ball placement, especially for loop blocking
  • Good speed and flex for topspin
  • Active blocking is strong, while passive blocking can be inconsistent (may depend on rubber choice)
  • Good control in short play
  • Mid to mid-hard touch, with a relatively large sweet spot
  • Good weight distribution
  • Feels typical of ALC fiber blades

Cons

  • Crooked handle design for a special edition blade
  • Dents easily
  • Not recommended for softer, high-throw rubbers, as these limit smashing and power looping
  • More suitable for lower-throw, less reactive rubbers

Overall

  • Versatile offensive blade suitable for a range of playing styles
  • Comparable to the TBALC or Viscaria, with slightly harder touch and more blocking power
  • Balanced feel and power, making it suitable for both power looping and blocking
  • Recommended for players who prefer medium-hard rubbers with lower throw and reactivity for optimal performance.

Very good blade composition: koto- carbon fibers mix-ayous-kir-ayous-carbon fibers mix-koto. Nice feel, great handle, good fast with a high level of control. Powerful and precision blade. Good for pips and regular rubbers.

TIBHAR VS Unlimited Limited Edition with serial number, commemorating the 25th anniversary of Vladimir Samsonov & TIBHAR. The blade VS Unlimited supports the player due to the large sweet spot and the higher control associated with the offensive game.

The combination of the high-tech synthetic fibers, low vibration, carbon fiber, and its optimal transfer of energy, is perfect for a variable spin.
