Blocker blade. Good for looping and smash. Hard rubber is recommended. Head is heavy. Good quality from Xiom.

I have the Stradivarius 88g and I am now using the V1 86g. In a fair test, both were put with Max Vega Pro on both sides. I found the V1 to have a slightly faster touch. Otherwise, I cannot separate these two blades. The V1 has a slightly harder feel. I think weight is important when buying blades. According to the Xiom scale, it can make the difference some of the time. The V1 was meant to be slower, but it is not. The main strength of both blades is looping. I can’t make up my mind which to use! 10/10 for both.

My Xiom V1 is 82g, goes well with medium-soft rubbers. I absolutely love it with Vega Europe – great control. Overall, it is a fantastic blade, the handle is nice - required only minimal sanding, nice balance in the blade, very little vibration, about OFF- fast yet really stable, with enough dwell time even for slower looping, and also esthetically pleasing. I recommend it for intermediate-level amateur players, and maybe higher…

The Xiom blade exhibits the brand’s customary meticulous craftsmanship. Its weight is less than that of the Xiom Zetro Quad. It offers excellent control in the close game and feels comparatively slower than the Zetro Quad. Pairing it with Palio Thors or Xiom Omega IV rubbers results in exceptional looping capabilities. Additionally, lobbing from the second zone away from the table is fairly effortless.

Xiom V1 is a truly exceptional table tennis blade. Those looking for a perfect balance of speed, spin, and control should definitely give this blade a try. I highly recommend it. I personally used the Schlager Off+ blade before, but I am now extremely satisfied with the Xiom V1. It is a consistent and reliable blade.

Compared to a Stradivarius, the dwell time is definitely longer. The blade is more flexible, and when paired with two Vega Pro 2.0 rubbers, it feels more flexible and slower than a Strad equipped with two LKT Rapid Speed 2.0 rubbers.
