The blade has a strange feel. It’s not bouncy, and I feel a lot of vibrations. I don’t feel the crispness, although I think it has very good control. I don’t feel the carbon, except when I hit very hard.

I’m more comfortable with the Yasaka Ma Lin Extra Offensive (YEO) which has a nice crisp feeling and polite vibration.

However, the Yasaka Ma Lin Max Carbon (YMLMC) has more control, more power, and is more consistent when blocking and counter hitting.

In conclusion, the YEO is better for beginner to intermediate players, while the YMLMC is a more deadly weapon for advanced players.

I ordered a very light blade measured at 83.3g, but the thickness was measured @ only 6.0mm instead of 6.3mm. Innerforce design with 3 wood plies on top of carbon+core. The 3rd wood ply is thick, placing the carbon buried deep under the surface. As a result, the carbon can only be activated on harder strokes. Therefore, MLMC feels like a medium soft 7-ply limba wood blade on lighter strokes, but it can get pretty fast & hard feeling when the carbon is aroused.

I got used to the excellent control right away. It’s easy to play slow, and it will also provide decent speed when needed. Speed is progressive; it has a very wide range of gears. You can hear the carbon as you hit hard, and the ball feel turn hard at the same time.

Very precise; not bouncy; has a soft feel on lighter strokes & can grab the ball well; medium hardness on medium strokes and fast and hard on hard smashes The spin & loops produced are enormous. This is what I expected the DHS 301 to be, but it isn’t. Comparing these 2 blades, they have about the same amount of control, but the Max Carbon has higher speed when hit hard; more spin; a bigger handle; I like the Max Carbon much better and did not like 301 at all. Good quality at very low price. I use Vega Pro on FH and Razka 7 on BH.

Speed=9.0; Control=9.5; Spin=9.6; Feel=vary; Flick=easy+; Flex=6.5; Hardness=5; Balance=good; ST handle=large/nice; Dwell=good; Smash, flat hit & Drive=great; Throw=med+; Serve=great; Sweetspot=large; touch shot=great; Sound=wood popping sound, occasional glassy; Overall=9.3.

The blade has very fast speed, very good control, and is powerful. I can generate topspin easily, even though this blade feels hard.

I stick DHS NEO H3P D39 Max on my forehand. Even though this rubber feels hard, it is still okay for me. This blade is one of my favorite blades.

I have played with this blade for about 1 month. My style is offensive. I use DHS Neo H3P max for my forehand. With this blade, I can play fast loops and loop easily. Smashes are very fast. Control is very good. This blade feels medium-hard. It is a very nice blade for offensive players.

Really good control.

I thought Max Carbon would be just like other carbon blades. After 10 hours of play using medium rubbers, I found it to have a very nice woody feeling. I could control the ball nicely. When hit hard, the carbon plays its role.

This blade was slower than the Ma Lin Soft Carbon blade. It is hard to understand how the Max Carbon would be slower. I did not realize it was an inner carbon construction, which explains why it is so slow. Not for me.

Great offensive blade. Paired with Stiga Genesis II M on both sides, max FH and 2 mm BH. Perfect combo. Big sweet spot. Incredible control. Very linear. Excellent for driving, flicking, and the slow game, but with a lot of power reserve easily usable for smash, strong topspin/counter topspin without any loss of control. You can place the ball exactly where you want on the table with the power you want, giving you a big confidence feeling. What else? Small vibration in strong strokes which produce the classical carbon ‘metallic’ sound. Fantastic blade!

Loved it.

Great blade for the money!
Unfortunately, I didn’t have a chance to play with it because quarantine started.
I glued Yasaka Rakza X + X soft, and the racket turned out to be fire!

Very nice finish. Great feeling and a huge sweet spot. Fantastic blade, fast and accurate.

Good speed with decent control. Light weight. Please note that if you’re ordering a straight handle and take advantage of their free rubber assembly service, you can’t see anywhere on the handle stating that it is a Ma Lin Max Carbon (because the wood would already be covered by the rubber). The handle would simply say, ‘Ma Lin Olympic Gold Winner’, not ‘Max Carbon’. This was confusing for me, so when I contacted TT11.com, they assured me that the ST handles come like that. Overall, quite a nice racket at this price point.

I am a sort of beginner+ player, playing TT with friends for a couple of years.
This is my first professional blade which I chose after a lot of research.
I wanted to have the feeling of a professional racket and I didn’t want to put too much money and also have control in my shots.
So, I went with this blade. My decision was okay but not that great.
If you have played TT for 2-3 years with some good players and you are an offensive player who loves topspin, then I don’t recommend this blade as it is slow and the inner carbon layer comes into effect after you put a lot of power in your shots.
If you are a fresher then this is the blade for you to start your journey as it will give you good control and speed.
Though, I suggest choosing fast rubbers with this blade to overcome the slowness of the blade.
Go for Tibhar MX-P with this blade on both sides and it will give you a good level of confidence.
I placed Tibhar EL-S and Rakza Z rubbers. (I don’t recommend Rakza Z as it is very slow).

Good quality blade, without manufacturing issues except label at bottom of handle peeled off on the second training session, but it is minor.
Expected more speed, but due to carbon layers being deep in plywood layers they work only after putting great effort from my side. So found out that need to work more than with my previous blade where carbon layers were closer to the surface. In general trying to get used to this new blade. My level is “amateur”.
