Review:

I got this rubber for my backhand. My backhand is pretty weak, so I hoped the low throw angle would help me. And I was right! The throw angle is very low, compared to my Evolution FX-P. This makes fast play close to the table without any spin very easy and effective. Directing the ball becomes natural.

What about topspin? Topspins on underspin balls are a bit difficult at the beginning, because of the low reject. I have to use my shoulders more than before. But they are very spinny and hard to block! Topspins from mid-distance to far from the table are easy. You can put all the power you want in your ball, and it will always go on the table! The low throw angle makes blocks very effective.

To sum up, this rubber has a very low throw angle, good spin and control, maybe even more than Evolution FX-P. The speed is not insane, but it’s still fast. Overall, it’s a good rubber.

Update: Finally, my backhand has improved a bit. I’m more regular on my loops and topspins, and they’re more effective too. After comparing it with my forehand rubber (Rasante Grip), I find the reject to be medium-low to medium. This rubber has really helped me to improve my backhand stroke. It’s sad that its production is over. I hope I’ll find a similar rubber, maybe the all-new V42.

Durability: I’ve had this rubber for 7 months and the quality has practically not decreased. So far, this is the most durable tensor I have owned, after the Samba+.

Perfect combination of spin and control.

I use this rubber on my backhand on an all+ blade. This rubber has good speed and is amazing at blocking, possibly the best blocking rubber I’ve used. Looping is really good.

It lasts a very long time before it dies. After that, it’s pretty much useless. However, flicking is easy, and I can lift backspin really easily in loops. Nice job Andro :).

Medium weight, medium-low launch angle, incredible blockage, average speed, enough control, high spin, easy topspin, more recommended for backhand, excellent product.

I got this on my backhand. It’s good at blocking spinny topspin, but not as grippy as the topsheet of Rasant-Turbo. The ball doesn’t grip much for me. I can loop with it, but only about 50-50, and I can’t trust it much at looping backspin. I don’t recommend this. Just go for Acuda-S2, which has better grip but the same speed.

UPDATE!!!
I don’t like the feeling. It’s soft and feels like a dead rubber. It almost has the speed of Turbo, but it’s just the feeling; it feels dead.

I have it on BH max. Good control and spin, but because I use RPB, the low throw angle makes me struggle a bit. Flipping a backspin serve is very easy, and BH topspin is very easy too.

I have Powersponge in 1.7mm Black. Unlike other reviewers, I found the throw angle to be average for most shots, except for blocks. It tends to throw blocks very high. Backspins are thrown somewhat low, while topspins throw somewhat high.

It has excellent spin potential and control. Speed potential is acceptable; it doesn’t propel balls naturally and will require some effort to generate point-winning speed.

All in all, it’s a solid choice for a spinny, controllable rubber with above-acceptable speed.

Very well balanced rubber, without obvious weaknesses. It offers ample power (especially for a soft/med-soft rubber), excellent spin, and very good control.

I would describe it as Acuda S2 but with better spin. It excels in controlled mid-distance looping games. The feeling is similar to Evolution FX-P (my favorite there), but it has more power and much more consistency in blocking.

The only slight disappointment is the sidespin serve: I feel the spin is average (at least far inferior to the spin one can create with 05FX).

Best for backhand, easy to block and open.

Bought it in 1.9 mm for backhand (BH). I previously used M3.

Everything mentioned in the reviews above is confirmed.

For me, the main point was established by spinitgood: It has a lower throw angle than M3, which makes my BH play much more consistent on each field. The control is beyond imagination.

Thanks, Mr. Andro.

I bought this rubber because of the green sponge. I thought it would be like the M3, but it has a much lower throw angle (which I like), is slower, but has a lot more control, and is tackier.

Counter tops and serves are a pleasure to hit with this rubber. Opening loops are good, and I can smash no problem. The short game is much easier than with the M3.

I am playing with a stiff OFF- blade and use this rubber in max thickness. It is a great buy, and the sponge looks great!

Spin is less than that of Adidas P7. The sheet yields a medium-low throw. The sponge is a bit soft, making the rubber not as fast as claimed in the statistics above. Disappointed!

The perfect rubber for me! Although the sponge is medium-soft, it feels very controlled and generates enormous spin and speed when I do a hard smash or topspin (much more than I was expecting)!

Softer shots like flicks or short blocks are really controlled too and feel very cultivated now! I wonder how they managed to combine that with a soft sponge, making it really fun to play.

I had an even softer rubber before, but the Rasent PS is by far better for playing topspin on a spinny chop, or even against defensive players.

A counter-topspin rally is fun too. It generates much sound and there are always some speed reserves left!

I can really recommend this rubber! It’s fantastic, making you a topspin superhero.

This is a nice rubber with a lot of spin. Its control is nice and it’s so easy to play with. Looping is a dream with this rubber. I would rate it 10 out of 10. It’s definitely one of my favorite rubbers.

I have been using this rubber for just two weeks and it’s really good. It provides good control and spin, and while it’s not very fast, it helps you win points easily when receiving serves. When shopping and blocking, you have to take precautions when flicking because it’s soft and the flick can normally go out of the table. For topspin and loopspin, it’s really good and very easy to do. This ball can go off the table with a lot of spin. I recommend it for attacking with maximum precision and control!
