Uncontrollable Rubber

This rubber is among the fastest (9.7) that I have used. However, it has an unpredictable and unpleasant catapult effect that makes it difficult to control.

No Sponge Construction

This rubber does not have a sponge layer. It is made of an elastic caoutchouc material that is suitable for entry-level players.

Strengths

  • Smashes
  • Topspins

Weaknesses

  • Cuts
  • Blocks
  • Loops

Price

The price of this rubber is not justified at $10, in my opinion.

This is a very soft rubber. It provides good control and lots of spin. I have used it on my backhand for more than a year now. It is a pretty good rubber for beginners.

Excellent rubber for a fast game, offering nice spin speed and excellent control. I read somewhere that it is not so good for short games, but I disagree, as I have not encountered any issues. A really nice rubber for offensive games.

#4 — March 2012

I really like it for loops and smashes. It is the best rubber. It is fast like Tenergy.

#5 — January 2012

I am using it for my FH (forehand). It is very good for spin strokes with control.

Spin Generation:
This rubber offers excellent spin capabilities. To maintain its spin, apply a small amount of WD40 to the sponge and rubber surface.

Short Pushes:
Pushing short can be challenging with this rubber.

Attacking Style:
It excels in looping, smashing, and blocking. When executed correctly, it produces powerful and unpredictable shots.

Suitability:
This rubber is recommended for players with an attacking style. Beginners may find it challenging.

Other Characteristics:
At times, the ball may unexpectedly shoot away at high speeds. It produces a distinctive clicking sound when the ball is struck accurately.

Very good. I used it on my forehand for two months, then I switched it to my backhand and it was great! Since then, I use only this rubber on my backhand.

Sorry for my poor English.

#8 — June 2011

This is one of the fastest rubbers I have ever had. It is a good one for your backhand, but it is uncontrollable for your forehand.

#9 — April 2011

I have used this rubber on my forehand for about a year now and found it to be very durable.

#10 — January 2011

Fast rubber is good for blocks and smashes. However, looping is harder as the sponge is stiff. It is agreed that the short game suffers because it is not spinny enough during pushes.

If you feel that Tenergy is heavy, then this rubber is for you. I have tried everything from Bryce to Magna without speed glue, and this rubber is perfect. It is speedy but not uncontrollable, and spiny but not tacky. Countering blocking is amazing. It’s the best of all. However, if you are a professional, do not use it for more than one and a half months.

Currently using it as a FH rubber. Speedlooping underspins results in massive spin feels amazingly easy.

Played BH with it, the speed was incredible with control and spin, especially from mid-distance. Blocks and drives like a beast.

Playing with it for 3 months now, it still has good speed and control, with spin lacking a bit. Still, a good rubber.

I would advise fast movers with a controlled-aggression game to use it. Very versatile.

#13 — August 2010

This rubber excels in blocking and fast attacking techniques. However, it offers limited spin capabilities.

#14 — September 2009

I think it’s a good rubber and I don’t think it wears out that quickly. However, it’s a great rubber.

#15 — May 2009

This rubber offers exceptional speed for looping shots, requiring noticeably less effort compared to standard rubbers. Despite its advertised 45-degree sponge, it feels significantly softer during looping.

However, the rubber’s short game capabilities suffer. Shots requiring extended dwell time, such as short touch shots, are affected by the sponge’s tendency to absorb the ball and eject it rapidly. Incorrect timing can result in these shots popping up.

While this rubber exceeds Tenergy 05 in speed, it falls short in spin. Nevertheless, it still provides significant spin.

Unfortunately, the rubber’s durability is a major drawback. Within 1.5 months of use, the glue effect deteriorated, diminishing the rubber’s clickiness, spin, and speed. While it performs exceptionally well during its initial month, its rapid wear reduces its overall effectiveness.
