With an overall rating of 9.2 and impressive scores of 12 for both speed and spin, this rubber excels in delivering powerful performance during play. Players appreciate its exceptional consistency and responsiveness, making it a suitable choice for advanced players who rely on precise shots and effective spin generation.

This ensures that while it can generate considerable spin, it does not overly rely on tacky surfaces, providing greater versatility in shots. The rubber’s weight is classified as medium (6.1), which balances well with various blade types, including both Japanese and European setups, without compromising speed or control. The rubber’s durability is also commendable, with a rating of 8.1, making it a cost-effective option for regular players who demand longevity without sacrificing performance.
In terms of alternatives, the Xiom Omega VII Asia is often compared to the popular Tenergy series from Butterfly, particularly the Tenergy 05, which many players find comparable in terms of quality and performance. However, users of the Omega VII Asia often note that it provides a unique feel that can enhance their game, offering a balance between Japanese and Chinese rubber characteristics. Other recommended rubbers for those who enjoy the Omega VII experience include the Vega Tour and the Andro Rasanter R50, which cater to players looking for a similar performance but with distinct nuances suited to their individual styles.
Slapped this max thickness on both sides of an inner carbon blade. Heavy. Opaque feedback. Difficult to activate the sponge. Good spin.
After 3 months, it becomes much better to play with, although still not quite as good on the BH. The topsheet is pretty much immortal, and you only need to clean it with your breath. Probably would have played better with 2.0mm thickness or slapped onto a faster outer carbon blade. Would be lighter too.
When you hit the ball, you feel the power, and you can tell the difference with the Xiom Omega V11 Europe.
