My favorite blade! I play with Giant Long 0.5 and Palio CJ8000 Biotech. The blade is stiff and requires soft rubber and is slow, because it is quite fast like an off- blade. It works well for short table blocks, attacking with loops, and chopping. It is the best blade for an allround game with long pips.

Very good blade, especially for OX LP.

Great control for LP.

Stiff (provided by glass fiber).

Stiffness gives you power on the forehand, better reversal, and a bigger sweet spot.

Head of the blade is not as big as other defensive blades, which is good. It’s easier to maneuver and twiddle.

Balsa core.

I played with this blade with Dornenglanz ox for a long time, but stopped using it because it lacks a unique identity.

I should note that this blade does not have the infamous balsa feel, whether you like it or hate it.

The blade is average in spin generation and spin sensitivity. Its hardness and stiffness feel medium. There are many faster and many slower blades made for defensive players.

It can be a good blade to develop long pips skills. As you become more sure with your pips, you will probably switch to a faster blade.

I love this thing. It has great vibration for the long pips that I use (TSP curl P1r 1.0-1.3mm), and it’s very easy to control.

I’m still unsure what to put on the forehand, because it’s very fast. Being a modern defender, it’s always good to surprise your opponent with an attack every once in a while. The attacks on this blade are endless.

I’ve used Andro Rasant and Xiom Sigma1Pro so far, and I would have to say Rasant is too fast, and quite hard to control. Blocking is super easy, chopping is effortless, but looping will take some time, as the ball seems to fly very fast.

Overall, it’s my favorite blade I’ve tried!

One of the best blades for an all-around defense game. Phantom 0012 is one of the best-fit rubbers for the BH.

However, Tibhar Grass D’Techs OX / 1.2 / 1.6 versions did not suit this blade. It is challenging to find a good FH rubber. Many rubbers (Dr. Neubauer Domination 1.5, Dr. Neubauer Special Defense, Stiga Chop and Drive, Butterfly Tackiness Chop, Tenergy 05 1.7, TSP Cutman 1.5, and many more) were tried but could not zero-in-on any.

Long range chopping - very good. Blocking - very good. Hitting - reasonable power and accuracy. Topspin game - OK. A true all-rounder.

Fantastic control with this blade. I played with Friendship 802 with a 0.5mm white sponge and Friendship Super 729 FX on the forehand. It puts the ball back time after time. Classical defense up to 2/3 meters away from the table.

Like this blade! It has a good touch and a comfortable handle. It’s more of an all-around blade with enough punch to sneak some past your opponent, but with great control. Give this one a try, unless you’re all about speed and overpowering your opponents. It also has a pretty good-sized sweet spot.

The best defensive blade I’ve tried. It offers amazing control. The blade’s speed makes it feel like an ALL or even OFF- blade, which fits my modern defensive style very well. Did I mention the amazing control?
