I have been using this blade for a while, and currently (for about 1.5 years now) with Rasanter R53 on FH and R48 on BH. The sensation provided by the inner carbon is unparalleled, and it enables exceptional opening against backspin.

Despite having experimented with various other blades (ZLC, ALC, and everything in between), the feeling that I have with this blade has never waned. While some ALC/ZLC blades might be marginally faster for hard counter topspin, the Ligna FR Off remains my preferred choice for its superior feel.

It is crucial to note that, despite my previous statement regarding the potential speed of some ALC/ZLC blades, this blade is not suitable for beginners. It is still a fast blade that packs a punch, especially when paired with medium to hard rubbers. However, it offers outstanding control for a carbon blade.

This is a good-looking and highly underrated blade. It has one of the best feelings together with high dwell time. Depending on rubber choice, it can support many different offensive styles. For my taste, it is as speedy and also super consistent as famous bty alc blades.

Most certainly was slower than I thought. Had FastArc G1 on both sides and was slow as hell. Finish was okay. Got weighed in at 88 grams. Not super well made, the top ply came undone even after lacquer, perhaps a different glue used than what normal mass ones are glued with. I didn’t like it, head heavy, cost too much, and slower than advertised in my opinion.

Priceless. It has a very good finish and amazing speed, dwell time, and monstrous top spin.

I have gone through many different Stiga blades but I kept returning to my Alser Carb 7 blade for some reason - not the most exciting but a very light blade with great feedback. After using Andro rubbers for a while I decided to venture outside of Stiga blades and ordered the Andro Ligna Fibre Reinforced OFF.

In short: fantastic blade. There is nothing this blade won’t allow me to do within my own limits. It genuinely gets the most out of the rubbers. I use it with Andro R42/V42 and Impuls Powersponge.

The blade has great feedback on ball contact and has all the gears needed for delicate touch play all the way to powersmashing. Huge sweetspot which has improved my smash and drive returns from far away and allows me to return hard drives with ease and precision. Fast drive rallies are incredibly consistent allowing me to increase speed during the rally without change in trajectory. Very forgiving blade with no apparent weaknesses. A fast blade with the feeling of an allround blade so it works with both thin and thick rubber/sponge combinations.

Concave grip was a little small for me so I made my own grip for it. But other than grip this is the perfect blade for me and it makes me not want to pick up any of my other blades anymore.

Other blades used: Alser Allround 5 Alser Carbon 7 Stiga NCT V Ebenholz Stiga NCT VII Ebenholz Stiga Infinity VPS Diamond Touch Stiga Intensity NCT Stiga Classic Carbon (Offensive).

Sometimes I wonder why Andro blades are behind Butterfly blades. When I got my hands on the LIGNA FR OFF I was surprised at how nicely made it is. It is handmade, as is mentioned. The speed is way better than other Butterfly blades such as Sardius and Marcos. Paired with a medium hard rubber R47, it plays along with it smoothly. For topspins, it’s amazing as its control level is great. Thanks to Andro!

The Ligna FR offers exceptional feeling and control. It surpasses other OFF blades in control, outperforming the Viscaria, Garaydia ZLC, and Boll Spirit. Shots exhibit consistent pace and ball placement.

Despite being an OFF blade, the Ligna FR generates sufficient speed, comparable to the Viscaria. The handle is slightly thin for my large hands, but I adapted quickly.

The spin potential of this blade is extraordinary. I’ve never produced so many direct winners through spinny balls and serves.

Those seeking a highly controlled and fast OFF blade should consider the Ligna FR. There’s also an informative review on YouTube by TableTennisDaily.
