This blade is a bit slower than outer ALC blades. However, the control is better than those ALC blades. My blade weighs only 78 grams. I like it very much.
This blade strikes a balance between the feel of ALC Carbon and wood. Its speed is comparable to the Super ALC.
When playing delicately near the table, it offers superb control, similar to a wooden blade. However, when full power is applied, it delivers an incredibly fast, carbon-like response.
Furthermore, this blade makes it easier to generate spin compared to the Super ALC.
Nice, well-made blade.
I bought this for a friend. He liked the feel of the blade but wasn’t so keen on the rubbers he chose to pair with it.
Excellent quality and finishing. It is very close to Viscaria but a few grams lighter (82g).
The new carbon material is fast and comparable to ALC. It’s probably slightly softer, giving you a bit more time to hold the ball.
There is enough power and speed with good control. The handle also feels very nice. I highly recommend giving this a try.
Gyo-en is an outer blade and the first Nittaku blade featuring the new material KVC3.
The feeling is different from an ALC blade, feeling more like a full wood blade. With Nittaku G1 max on the forehand and Stiga Mantra Pro M on the backhand (although Hammond Z2 is a recommended alternative), it provides an excellent feeling.
You feel as though you can grab the ball for a moment, allowing you to easily generate spin. It’s also fast enough even with a slight strike.
Furthermore, when you improve your striking strength to a certain level, the ball will launch out in a straight line. This is advantageous from further away, but makes control near the table more challenging.
