Very good blade for beginners, highly recommended for training. It provides a good feeling and is versatile, allowing players to learn every technique. I use the AN handle, which is quite wide (oval) on this blade and incredibly pleasant for large hands like mine.

The blade is lightweight (mine is 81g) and easy to pair with rubbers. I use it to test rubbers because of the vivid feedback and neutral touch it provides. Tibhar recommends pairing it with Nimbus rubbers, but I don’t. Nimbus rubbers have a rather old design and aren’t efficient enough with plastic balls. Based on my findings, it pairs well with Xiom Vega (Intro, Euro) rubbers and Tibhar Evolution (FX, EL) and Quantum X series. I haven’t tried harder rubbers yet but will on occasion.

The build quality is decent, as expected in that price range. You get what you pay for. However, it’s not typical of Tibhar quality. I own 4 other Tibhar blades, and all have a better finish.

Despite its slightly lower build quality, the fact that this blade has been sold for over 15 years after its release speaks volumes about its popularity and effectiveness.

Very good for learning table tennis. However, it becomes too slow for advanced players. The handle is too thin for my preference. Overall, a very good blade with good ball control.

I’ve been using this blade since 2006. It is an all-around blade, suitable for beginners to intermediate players. It provides great feeling and control. It excels at topspin and blocking shots. However, it lacks power for smashing and looping.

To compensate for the lack of power, a medium-hard rubber set like Aurus (for forehand) can be used. For backhand, Aurus Soft pairs very well with this blade.

Overall, this is a very good training blade at a reasonable price.

My first blade, the Tibhar Nimbus Allaround, is a great choice for beginners. It’s not particularly fast, but it has enough speed to generate some nice aggressive hits when needed. And its control is excellent.

As a solid, unremarkable but very playable blade, it appeals to players looking for their first “real” racket. It’s not too fast, so you can maintain control. But it’s not too slow either, so you can still generate some power.

I only regret that I didn’t buy the Nimbus Offensive instead. But at the time, I loved this blade, and I still recommend it for developing players.
