Blade description:

The Xiom Axelo is a high-performance table tennis blade acclaimed for its exceptional speed and control, making it a favorite among aggressive players and loopers. Constructed with Energy Carbon, this blade offers a unique blend of power and precision, allowing players to deliver rapid and spin-heavy shots from both mid and long distances. With a thickness of 7.3mm, the Axelo remains a formidable weapon on the table, marrying the qualities of a classic wooden blade with advanced carbon technology.

Weighing in at a medium level, the Axelo provides a solid yet balanced feel that appeals to those who prefer a slightly heavier blade. Reviewers have noted its impressive stiffness rating of 7, which contributes to its explosive power while still offering decent feedback on touch shots. This blend of stiffness and a moderately soft center ply enables players to generate heavy topspin, making it an excellent choice for those looking to dominate rallies with attacking play.

Flexibility is also a noteworthy characteristic of the Axelo, which, despite its high-speed rating of 9.4, surprisingly maintains ample control (8.3). While some players have pointed out its weight during extended plays, the control on blocks and loops is frequently praised, making it easier to execute intricate shots. For those seeking alternatives, while the Axelo can be compared to blades like the Butterfly Schlager Carbon and Sardius, it stands out for its affordability and performance ratio, catering well to players transitioning from other blade brands seeking value without compromising quality.

This morning, I broke a Nittaku seam 40+ ball using a Schlager Carbon clone blade.

The blade is a Schlager Carbon clone.

I have the Bty Kreanga Carbon, Bty Amultart, DHS Malong 5 X, and Axelo blades. To test their speed, I used the same rubber on each one. The results showed that the fastest blade was the Xiom Axelo.

Most review and recommend this blade as fast as Sardius/Schlager even faster, but I feel it slower than Sardius. I use the same rubber and glue to compare the blades feel, speed, and control. For me, Sardius is still the best blade that I have used.

Notice for Axelo, the handle is comfortable but the edge is still sharp. Need to improve quality.
