Yinhe T-1s
Blade description:
The Yinhe T-1S is a high-speed carbon blade designed for advanced and professional offensive players. Featuring a 5+2 construction, it utilizes Hinoki outer veneers over carbon layers, resulting in a notably thick profile of approximately 7.4 mm. The blade is characterized by its significant stiffness and a hard, powerful feel, making it well-suited for aggressive playstyles that prioritize speed and flat hitting.
Performance Characteristics
- Speed and Power: The blade offers elite-level speed, often compared to classic high-velocity carbon blades. It excels at delivering high energy to the ball, making it effective for powerful loops and smashes from mid-to-long distance.
- Feel and Feedback: Due to its rigid construction, the blade provides a very crisp, hard, and sometimes hollow sensation upon contact. Because of this, it performs best when paired with harder rubbers (typically 45 degrees or higher), which help facilitate better feedback and dwell time.
- Technical Requirements: The blade is quite demanding in the short game, as its high-speed nature and bouncy characteristics can make delicate shots like drops and short pushes challenging. It requires high technical proficiency to maintain control, particularly when using softer or highly elastic rubbers.
- Weight and Build: Typically weighing between 89 and 92 grams, the blade has a solid, substantial feel in the hand. The handle design is generally well-regarded, and the overall construction quality provides a stable platform for high-impact offensive strokes.

I’ll probably get “thumbs up” again today!!! - but I just don’t understand why entering “numbers” into the table should constitute a meaningful review!!!
Update 02/22: Attention, this blade is listed too under “Yinhe T-1S” and to this day is the fastest blade I’ve ever played with. (- and there were some!) I had the opportunity to compare my Yinhe T-1S with the TSP Balsa 8.5 Top Speed (https://revspin.net/blade/tsp-balsa-85-top-speed.html) and the result was clear. The Yinhe Blade has significantly better ball feedback at the same speed !!!
Facts: my blade has a strong FL handle and weighs 91 grams. The outer veneer is Hinoki, however, I could not find out what the core consists of !!! It’s extremely hard and stiff, but unfortunately does not provide enough feedback. (- less vibration, less feedback!!!) With softer rubbers, I couldn’t feel the blade at all. Only with rubbers above 45 degrees (… I used a Nittaku FastArc G-1) did I get a feel for the blade. Ultimately, I have to admit that this blade is much too fast and uncontrolled for me.
Conclusion: This blade is the fastest Yinhe blade of all and only suitable for higher-level players !!! ( … who play with harder rubbers and should therefore receive better feedback from this blade.)
Addendum: now that I’ve ordered this blade for the fourth time (for a friend), none of them weighed less than 89 grams. - an average of 90 to 92 g.!.

Combination of Hurricane 3 National blue sponge and Stiga Airoc S.
First impression: a lot of speed (same level as donic carbospeed) and little feeling when playing. Putting the ball on the table wasn’t a problem with this setup, despite having to adjust the moves. The spin generated with Hurricane 3 was second to none, and the spin with Airoc was good. Both provided easy blocking and flat attacks.
The only negative point was the short game. It was very difficult to keep the ball low and short, especially with Airoc. I imagine I will have this problem with any bouncy sponge. Drop shots were also very difficult.

Blade Review
I tested this blade with a DHS H3N 41 deg (FH) and Andro Rasanter R37 2.0 mm (BH). It felt slightly too fast for me compared to the Yinhe V-14 PRO and DHS Power G5X, which I tested simultaneously.
The blade head is relatively thick, reminiscent of the Yinhe T2s. However, I find the T1s more enjoyable. Looping with the H3N was commendable.
However, backhand play with the R37 was less satisfactory. The ball bounced too quickly, impairing control. Using a thinner sponge might potentially improve this.
The blade has a hollow and rigid feel during gameplay. It can be slightly bouncy in short play, but overall, it’s a solid blade. Forehand looping is particularly impressive, enhancing the speed of my H3N.
Weight: 91 g
Update
I switched to an Andro Hexer Grip 1.7 mm (BH), which I find much more agreeable. I plan to continue using this setup. The H3N with this blade provides an exceptional feel, offering the desired speed and control.
