I have been using this rubber for quite a long time on my backhand with blades like the Tibhar Carbon Shot and Timo Boll ZLC. With the Carbon Shot, it can be quite difficult to use, but on the TBZLC, it is superb.
I have switched between multiple rubbers, but this is one of my favorites. It is good for a quick, close-to-the-table style. I find it effective for blocks, flicks, topspins, and flat hits.
An excellent rubber that is quite lightweight. It provides consistent spin and is very fast. It is easy to topspin with, and the kill shots are quick. I enjoyed playing with this rubber a lot and highly recommend it.
Used it on my forehand with Tibhar Samsanov Force Pro. It’s difficult to control if you’re using a fast rubber for the first time. It’s also less spinny. However, the speed is good. I’d personally prefer Sonex JP Gold in this budget, as I had it on my backhand. It comes with a rubber protection sheet.
For backhand play, the best rubber is a spinny rubber. Michelin X-Power (MXP) is a good option for this purpose.
1/19/2017: At the club where I play, this is a very popular rubber. I tried it when I was starting out, but did not find it special and could not control it. I went back to slower rubbers (Mark V, Baracuda) and practiced more. Then I came back and now I find it shockingly fast. I can kill chops of my opponent with fast killer loops. The loops are low though. The speed is out of this world. Spin is also not too bad. Overall I love this. When I hit, most opponents turn away, that’s how hard the hits are.
Update 12Oct, 2020: It is a very durable and fast rubber, with decent spin. Its main quality is speed. I can hit from close to the table and also can counter loop 10 feet away from the table. I now have it on Butterfly Primoac (wood). Beautiful combo.
Review:
It is fast, not so overpriced and worth it.
I use Coppa on backhand with Sonex on forehand with a Donic Waldner Exclusive AR+ ply.
Coppa is a slightly tacky and hard rubber. It requires a fair amount of practice to get used to its angles, but blocks and flat hits are fast. Drives require a lot of practice and control.
Looping is very easy and effective from off the table. Its topspin angles require getting used to, and it gives a lower arc so the ball stays low.
The overall control is a bit less, but it is great for blockers and flat hitters and those who want spinny loops from mid ranges.
Great backhand rubber!
It’s a very fast rubber but also has very little dwell time. The hard sponge makes it easy to block but looping from a bottomspin position is much harder compared to other rubbers like Baracuda. It’s okay for the backhand if you are a forehand attacker only.
It’s very good rubber for backhand since it’s very good for blocking and shutting, but the durability is very poor. Its life comes only for 3 months if you practice daily.
I play on a Donic Waldner Carbon senso blade in 1.8mm (black).
This rubber excels at attacking and blocking. It’s challenging to push short but works well for long pushes. When hit hard, it can propel the ball with great force. The “speed glue” sound is minimal.
After 18 months of play, the spin and speed remain excellent. With just a monthly cleaning using WD40, the rubber looks almost new.
Great rubber for the price. It offers a fast pace while still maintaining decent control. I was able to hit some amazing and unbelievable shots with this rubber.
I had just used this rubber yesterday. My first feeling is quite better than my previous one (Yasaka Mark V). But the sound is strange, like the ball is touching the blade too much.
Good backhand rubber, good spin, speed, and soft sponge.
Great for BH. I’ve been using it for quite a long time. Easy to execute topspins. Losens up a bit in blocking. Durability is in question as it is fragmented in less than 2 weeks after gluing.
This rubber has all the spin and control you need, and fast too. Love it.
Nice rubbers, make that nice “tok” sound when you smash on the table.
It is the first time for me to play with JO rubber. It is a rubber that can generate good spin on the ball. It is very easy to transition the ball from backspin to topspin with my backhand. Since my blade is somewhat soft and my backhand skill is not yet proficient, it is difficult for me to deliver a high-quality impact with my backhand. However, the sponge of the rubber provides very good elasticity, which is supposed to result in a nice impact.
Maximum spin and control…great speed on a fast blade.
I have been using this rubber for the last 15 years. It is full of control and spin. On the right blade, very fast but still keeps its control. 10/10.
This rubber feels fast and spinny. I use it for my backhand and it’s incredibly easy to generate power and spin. It’s got a slight arc when hitting the ball compared to my Hurricane 3.
This rubber is great for all types of games. Awesome control.
This rubber is excellent for consistency and all-around play. The lifespan of the rubber is short, especially for heavy usage during training.
This rubber did not come up to the standard I expected comparing it to other established rubbers. Spin and speed were below expectations, probably because I was using T05 and Hurricane Province most of the time. I bought them as they had a 20% markdown price, which I received for 10 of them. I should have chosen other quality rubbers in bulk and received a 30% discount instead for volume.
First time I used this rubber. Both speed and control are very good for me. I will use it again!
It is quite fast, quite a good rubber for the price.
I play a controlled attacking game, especially out wide and to the middle.
I use this rubber on the FH, where I play with mostly placement, speed, and control, for which this rubber is very good.
It is fast, with good spin, and very controlled. Blocking is easier than with newer rubbers like Tenergy. You won’t be missing often. This rubber is light with a medium-hard sponge.
Its greatest strengths are its Speed and Control.
Demand fully met after using this awesome Donic rubber.
Very good.
The Yasaka Mark V is a really good rubber. It has good speed, spin, and control. I highly recommend this rubber to any player looking to improve their game.
The Xiom Vega Elite is a high performance rubber that offers great spin and control. I have been using it for a few weeks now and I am very impressed with the results. The rubber grips the ball well and allows me to generate a lot of spin on my shots. My control has also improved, as I am able to place the ball exactly where I want it to go. Overall, I would highly recommend the Xiom Vega Elite to any player looking to take their game to the next level.
Good one.
Nice.
