Good for hitters and blockers who play near the table. Recommended rubbers are medium soft for forehand and soft for backhand. Discontinued, which is disappointing for me, but it’s a good blade with quality technology.

I have been using the Timo Boll Spirit and decided to buy the new Ishlion because I found the Timo Boll Spirit a bit slow for my playing style. My first setup consisted of DHS Skyline 3 Neo black on the forehand and 729-08 ES red on the backhand. While I appreciated the spin generated by the Skyline rubber, its sticky topsheet made it too slow for my liking. Realizing that Skyline 3 was not suitable for my needs, I switched to Andro Rasant 2.1mm black on the forehand while keeping the 729-08 ES on the backhand. This setup proved to be exactly what I was looking for, providing excellent looping and smashing capabilities on both my forehand and backhand. The controlled nature of the 729-08 ES rubber on my backhand enabled me to effectively loop and counterattack against heavy backspin chops or topspins, allowing me to transition from defensive chopping to aggressive attacking backhands. The Rasant rubber on my forehand provided both powerful looping and smashing, while maintaining a high level of control. After experimenting with various setups, I found that the combination of the Butterfly Ishlion blade with Andro Rasant 2.1mm on the forehand and 729-08 ES 2.15mm on the backhand was the perfect fit for my playing style. This setup offered a unique blend of speed and control, which is rarely found in a single setup. Impressively, the total weight of the racket, including the rubbers, is a mere 179 grams, with the blade itself weighing only 79 grams.

Butterfly Amultart

Very good blade, fast, good control and very light blade. I’m using this blade with Tibhar 5Q on both sides, and this combination is perfect.

Nice blade. I use it with Bluefire M3 on FH (2.0) and Xiom Zava on my BH (2.1). It works nicely on FH and on my BH, producing very fast and unpredictable shots. If I switch sides when I play the game, I can do it effortlessly, and nothing changes too much.

Nice blade for my game. Provides good speed, drive, and spin. Also provides good control, making it suitable for blocks and counters.

Very fast, great for blocking and hitting.

Looping is quite difficult with this blade. It lacks spin power. It is excellent for hard hitters. Loopers, find another blade…

The blade is great. I’m using it with a Tenergy 05 and a Bryce Speed FX, and the result is fantastic. The blade has a medium-hard feel, and it provides great control and power. It’s also very well-balanced, which makes it easy to handle.

Overall, I’m very impressed with this blade. It’s a great all-around blade that’s suitable for a wide range of playing styles.

Very good blade. Makes my shot more accurate and reflex faster because it’s light.

Great blade. It is very good for blocking, looping and smashing. It has high control for a fast blade. It also has very good mid-distance power.

The Butterfly Ishlion is a powerful, light, and controllable carbon blade. This blade has more feeling than other carbon blades but still feels like a carbon blade.

It is not as bouncy as other carbon blades, and maintains a good short game. It loops and hits well.

When you loop with it, it feels like the blade sucks the ball in and spits it back out.

The Ishlion is a very light blade; mine is in the low 80s.

A simply amazing blade — the speed, control, looks, weight, and potential! The 2nd gen. of the Kreanga Carbon is amazing. I like it better than Boll TriCarbon and Primorac Carbon because it is faster, more controllable, and lighter.

However, there are some cons to consider. It is very expensive. It is also stiff, meaning you have to generate quite a bit of your own power, especially away from the table.

Furthermore, be careful of the rubbers you equip it with. Some rubbers will be too heavy, making the blade not as effective as it should be.

Despite these drawbacks, I am so happy with the Kreanga Carbon. I might only change it in the future for a newer version or the new Timo Boll ZLC.
