Lin Gaoyuan ALC is the softest blade among the ALC series from Butterfly. Its feel in the hand is similar to that of wooden blades without carbon. With this blade, you have a clear sense of what you are doing. In comparison to Viscaria, the feel in the hand is truly distinct, particularly for forehands. This blade is adept at control as well, allowing you to place the ball with precision anywhere on the table.

The only downside is its speed. Lin Gaoyuan ALC is only slower than Viscaria with significant force, not with smaller force.

I highly recommend everyone to give this blade a try, even beginners. The majority of players are bound to benefit from using the Lin Gaoyuan ALC.

The best blade here, but the quality is not the best. It’s easy to destroy. It’s better to buy a new one ;).

The best blade I have ever had. Its high flexibility makes it easy to control. It is great for counter-attacking, looping, or rallying, especially at medium to long distances. This blade is awesome. It has a soft touch and is dynamic. There is a catapult effect only if you use rubber DHS Hurricane 3.

Excellent blade. For a while, I had been using a 5 ply all wood blade which was fantastic in the short game. In making the transition to the LGY ALC, there was little or no adjustment needed. It is a soft blade, but when you open up and play fuller strokes, the speed and quality of the shots is fantastic. Of course, this is somewhat subjective. The handle is very comfortable and makes it very easy to switch from BH to FH (Flare). I considered quite a few options before finally deciding on this one and I can honestly say it’s a good buy. Without being too cliche, you do get the best of both worlds here: nice soft touch for control play but as much speed as most people would need when you attack. I highly recommend it.

Good blade with high control and consistency. Speed is not really high but decent. Pairing with hard rubber may be the good choice for increasing the speed.

The best ALC Koto blade ever.

The blade is very well made and has a great feel in the hand.

The ALC carbon gives the blade a nice crisp feel and provides good power.

The Koto outer plies give the blade a nice soft feel and provide good control

Overall, this is a great blade for all-around play.

It is well suited for players who want a blade that provides both power and control.

Don’t pair with Dignics 05 if you are not an advanced player. It will always go long, especially for backhand shots, and you will need to adjust the bat angle accordingly.

This blade is amazing. My blade weighs 83g. It’s a fast but soft blade. I recommend this blade to all those people who are looking for fast blades with a good feeling of the ball - a fast blade with a soft feeling. The build quality is world-class. It’s the best blade I’ve ever had.

Control - at least 9.6!!

For a thin game, Tenergy 05fx is ideal; for a faster game, Tenergy 05; I also tried Andro Rasanter R42 - a great smooth game. A great feeling - the ball goes to the table!!!

Simply easy to use, offering a good balance between speed, control, and feeling.

This blade is of high quality and performance. It has a weight of 84 grams, which makes it a fast and responsive blade. Despite its speed, it retains a soft touch, offering excellent control. The craftsmanship of this blade is world-class, making it one of the best available on the market.

Hello! The Lin Gao Yuan ALC is a very good blade with a large head size, which provides a large sweet spot. However, I do not recommend using Evolution-MXP rubbers on this blade due to their speed; it is too fast for developing players. The handle is comfortable, but it can be annoying to look at the large “L” after losing. Overall, the blade has a great feel.

The blade is one of the best to ever exist. It provides consistency in all strokes and shots. It is significantly better than the Timo Boll CAF blade, which is not a well-made product.

Ta deska nie jest warta swojej ceny. Kontrola jest kiepska. Sprzedaję ją komuś, kto nie zna się na deskach do tenisa stołowego i może połknąć to oszustwo.

The best blade I ever had… Mine with an anatomic handle (take care, the handle is very short). With Dignics 05 on both sides, it’s a beast. I come from Stiga Intensity NCT with Tenergy 05fx on both sides. This is more faster (much more, it’s an OFF/OFF+ blade) with a crazy spin and good control. It’s better in middle - far from the table but I don’t recommend it for beginners or intermediate players…It does everything well!! Serve is easy but dangerous for your opponent, backspin is easy when you have the good technique, topspin is perfect in this blade, sidespin is easy too. Very good for blocking, smash and attack the 3 ball. It’s the blade of Lin Gaoyuan. The dreamers blade… If you have the money and a solid technique, I recommend the Lin Gaoyuan ALC

One of the main drawbacks of the Koto ALC blade is its poor control. While it offers excellent speed and power, the lack of control can make it difficult for players to place their shots accurately. This can be particularly challenging for beginners or players who prefer a more controlled playstyle.

Hi, I’m an intermediate player. I played 15 years with BTF Maze ALC blade. LGY ALC is one of the best blades I have ever tried.

Personally, I like when the blade gives me feedback during the game, therefore this is not very hard, furthermore this is part of the ALC family. Great spin machine. Due to the flexibility for a blocking game its a bit sensitive. The counter attack and the short game is great with this blade. This is not super speedy, but fast enough. I guess this is fit also for a non-perfect technique players as well.

This blade is very slow, making it unsuitable for players with low strength. If you lack strength, you will need to pair it with a fast and hard rubber to get the most out of it. Overall, this blade is not recommended. The Yinhe v14 pro is a much faster option.

This blade is phenomenal. Its sweet spot is expansive, minimizing errors. Despite sharing the same wood and carbon construction as the Viscaria, this blade possesses a softer feel while surpassing it in power.

The control it offers is remarkable, making blocking and playing at medium to long distances effortless. I highly recommend this extraordinary blade.
