Hi Folks, after all these years in the market, Taksim is still a very good choice for Club Players (CPH); especially if you use blocking rather than Reverse Penhold (RPH). The Forehand (FH) is always fast & excellent with a good rubber. I have used and would recommend the following rubbers with Taksim: Butterfly (BTY) Dignics/ tenergy 05 (D/T05), Rosanna, Xiom Omega 5/7-tour/pro, Tibhar MX-P/S, Victas V15 stiff, Donic Bluefire JP-01/02, Gewo’s 47.5/50 sponge. I have 3 of these blades and could not find another blade to replace them yet. When using Taksim, it is like an old friend with you!

Folks, Taksim is probably still one of the best CPH blades on the market. I’ve used two in the last eight years and have tried many others, including the Yasaka MLC, Nittaku Lialox, Bty. Supreme Speed, and 729’s imitation. When you use Taksim, it feels like an old friend is with you. The only reason it doesn’t get a perfect 10 is because of its inflated price and difficulty in obtaining.

This blade is not as flexible as I would like it to be, but it is a good blade. However, it is more expensive than other blades, so it should be of better quality.

This table tennis blade is highly recommended for players seeking a combination of speed and control. It excels in fast attacking playstyles, providing exceptional power and precision. Additionally, it offers excellent blocking capabilities, making it a versatile choice for all-around play. The blade performs particularly well when paired with tacky rubbers, such as DHS rubbers, which enhance its spin generation and overall control.

This blade is soft and imparts little or no vibration. It offers very good control when hitting. However, the downside is that blocking is more challenging due to the high throw. The head is also somewhat smaller compared to Yasaka blades. Taksim X may be a better alternative for the 40 mm. ball.

This is an amazing blade! I’ve been using this blade for a couple of years now and I think it has the perfect balance of speed, control, and feel. The only downside is that it’s very expensive, and Butterfly seems to have discontinued it. If I could use this for the rest of my life, I would!
