If you have a flicky game, you will have a hard time with this blade, especially on long, sweaty summer days. I have thrown this blade a number of times during a match because it lacks the typical thumb anchor point. During high-torque pendulum serves, it has the tendency to move in my hand. Although the handle felt great to me at first, it is now the reason I am switching to a more conventional handle.

Very lightweight, mine measured at 68 grams, and very comfortable. This was my blade of choice before I switched to the Joola Kool. However, in comparison, this is an allrounder blade. It provides a lot of control, but still maintains some speed. Although I am not particularly fond of the sound it produces, as it resembles that of hollow wood, this is a common characteristic of allwood blades. It also has great feeling, making it suitable for allrounders who wish to incorporate more offense into their gameplay.

This is a light weight and powerful blade. On the forehand side, I use Yasaka New Era with 2.2mm sponge, sponge hardness is 45-47. On the backhand side, I use Palio Emperor Dragon with GP sponge 2.2mm, sponge hardness 40-42. For forehand top spin stroke with full swing, it’s a Lightspeed Offensive 5 star Blade. The backhand stroke is harder for a kill shot, as I have only 2 hours with this blade so far. For blocking, it’s average - a heavier blade is better for blocking 90 grams. This blade is 75 grams, so fast and light. Underspin is good with this blade. For All + or Offensive player, this blade is a scoring machine. Control is average so far, with more time it will work better for me. The handle is perfect for me. For backhands, I need more time to get used to the blade. For someone looking for a light weight, powerful blade with a superb handle, this blade is Top gun. I picked this up on ebay from the Philippines for 34.50 plus 6.97 shipping. Superb Blade.

I would consider this blade to be best suited for a defensive style of play.

If the blade had a larger head size, it would be the perfect match for my playing style. Ideally, it should be combined with long pips rubber on one side and a fast rubber on the forehand side.

I am an older intermediate player looking to improve and move away from pre-assembled retail rackets. I ordered the Donic Persson Dotec because I wanted a lighter racket. I chose rubbers that would push me to improve: backhand: DHS Hurricane 3 Neo Provincial; forehand: Tibhar Evolution MX-D.

Firstly, the service from TT11 was amazing! They contacted me on January 1st, when everyone else was closed, to confirm which rubbers I wanted for forehand versus backhand. The completed racket was delivered to my door in Canada on January 6th. When I ordered, shipping was free, so I did not pay for expedited delivery; it was part of the service.

Regarding the racket, I am so happy with the grip and the weight. It feels great in my hands and is really responsive!

As for the rubbers, I am stronger on my backhand, and the Hurricane 3 Neo Provincial is perfect for me. It gives me great grip and speed. The Tibhar Evolution MX-D is harder for me to control for top-spin, but that is more a flaw in my technique than the rubber itself. I am being forced to improve my technique, which is exactly what I wanted.

Overall, thank you TableTennis11 for a great racket!

Super lightweight racket with a very good grip.

This blade truly has it all: control, speed, and spin.

As a player with primarily defensive tendencies, coupled with an opportunistic offense, this blade elevated my game to a different level. This was especially true when combined with a highly offensive rubber on the stronger forehand side and a spin-oriented pips-in rubber on the backhand.

Light and fast, with good feel.

This is an unusual blade. I thought it would take a couple of weeks to get to grips with it, but it felt good from the start. The angle is slightly closed on the forehand side and turned.

It’s not a particularly fast blade (ALL/OFF), but it offers a great control-to-speed ratio.

Thank you, TT11, for such prompt delivery to Finland.

Fine blade!

Good speed and excellent control.

Tabletennis11: 5 stars in all, great service! Congratulations!

#15Long Time Ago...

Revisiting this blade after more than 15 years, I find that it still performs well. I tried using a Donic Baracuda on the forehand (FH), and it was very easy to lift chops and open up.

The problem arose when counter-attacking. The throw angle was very high, causing me to hit the ball over the table multiple times. I had to adjust the angle almost horizontally to counter topspins. However, away from the table, it performed very easily.

On the backhand (BH), I used Tenergy 80, which has a lower throw angle, making it easy to adjust to. Even with this much speed, it was easy to control, and receiving service close to the net wasn’t hard at all.

One problem with this blade is that it’s super light, causing the setup to become head-heavy. I attached a coin to the bottom of the racket to counterbalance it.

Later, I’ll be testing the racket again with a Nittaku Fastarc G-1 on the forehand, which is a bit faster than the Baracuda but has a lower throw angle. I’m curious to see how that goes.
