Super workmanship, high quality. Fast blade with good control. Thank you tt11.

Un ottimo telaio, ma non per principianti. Molta potenza e una buona dose di controllo. Assomiglia al Waldner della stessa serie, ma coi muscoli.

It has good speed and control. Intermediate and advanced players will enjoy using this blade.
#5 — August 2024
Good finish quality as always.

Good blade with Donic BlueStar A1 rubbers for FH and BH. I bought two, one for matches, one for training.

A very fast blade for offensive players, but you can still hit very heavy spins. High quality. Recommended!

A good blade for those seeking something similar to Primorac Carbon but with less speed, more control, and more power for topspins. It plays well with rubbers up to 55 degrees hardness, such as Bluegrip C2. I play with Bluegrip C2 on my forehand and Nittaku PK50 on my backhand.

I ordered this as an additional blade along with Donic Original True Carbon. The blade looks amazing and feels light.
Haven’t decided on the rubbers yet. Will update once I start using it.

My first blade by Donic. Needs varnishing!!!
It is really off+. But the control feels how off it is. And this is great!

I switched from Hinoki + Energy Carbon (MXP & T05) and love it.
10% slower, but 30%+ more control and spin on drives. Full loop was about the same. Would not go back to Axelo for the near future.
Have not tried the Butterfly SZLCs, but at half the price, I should have at least 90% of the quality. Tried ZJK ALC with Rozena; it was a lot slower and had less spin.

Sound is amazing. Love to hit a strong forehand. Very fast racquet.

So fast blade, I like it so much.
#14 — March 2022
Very fast for playing attack.

Great-looking outer-fiber SZLC blade. The blade provides very nice control for such a fast blade. It has a very nice touch and feel for ball placement. It can be as powerful as you want it to be depending on the rubbers used. Definitely an OFF to OFF+ blade. A standout blade for blocking. The blade carries a little weight, which makes it a great blade for modern table tennis (98 grams). Requires good technique and skill. Not recommended for beginners. The World Champion 89 series blades (3 of them) are the best blades Donic has produced, IMO: Persson OFF+, Waldner OFF, Appelgren AR+. GIVE ONE A TRY.

If proper technique is used, the outer-fiber blade can excel in all aspects of the game. It offers exceptional power, great speed, and impressive control, but its true standout feature lies in its exceptional blocking capabilities.
As one of the original SZLC blades to enter the market, this blade’s touch and sensational feel are unmatched. Its construction (Spruce, Carbon Fleece Zylon, Spruce, Kiri) allows for a wide range of power depending on the rubber used.
When paired with medium-soft rubber like the Donic Bluestorm Z3 (2.1) on both sides, the blade delivers an incredible balance of speed and control. This combination provides excellent dwell time, making it ideal for looping, smashing, pushing, flicking, open-ups, and other techniques.
Weighing in at 199 grams, it perfectly complements the modern game with the new 40+ balls. The flared (concave) handle provides a comfortable grip.
The blade’s exceptional quality earns it a solid 10 rating as it consistently delivers on its intended purpose.
The Donic World Champion 89’ blade series (3 blades) was specifically designed for the modern game (Persson OFF+, Waldner OFF, Appelgren AR+). These top-notch blades demand good technique and skills to handle effectively.

I have always wanted to have this blade when it first appeared years ago. Thanks for the weekend special, now I have it. With Donic Coppa X1 Gold (FH, BH), the racket weighs about 175 grams. The weight of the racket maintains its offensive character. The handle is just about right.

Hello, I wanted to tell you to keep it up; not only do you give the customer better products, but you also deliver them on time.

Seems a bit heavier than the Waldner blade but strikes harder. I bought all three 89 champion blades as a collection. The shipping is always fast even during Xmas time. Three days to Canada. It never fails to amaze me.

The blade offers excellent control and speed. It has a big sweet spot and produces a unique sound. Blocking shots is impressive with this blade. Placing the ball comes naturally. It is also great for counter-attacking.
When comparing the Persson World Champion '89 blade to the Waldner World Champion '89 blade, the latter is slightly faster but offers the same control. Both blades are among the best ORIGINAL SZLC blades available. They offer the speed and control needed for modern table tennis.
The Donic Bluestorm rubbers enhance the performance of these remarkable blades. You won’t be disappointed using either of these blades as long as proper technique is used when handling the ball. These are exceptional blades that deserve a 5-star rating.

Fast and good control.
#22 — February 2020
The item arrived in good condition. Faster, bit heavier, and softer in feel than my Fang Bo 2. Somewhat Viscaria in feel. Overall a very good blade.
#23 — July 2019
Beautifully designed and played. Advanced level recommended only.

Did you ever come across a review that said Stiga Genesis M lacked power? Let me tell you, they have been using the wrong blade! Along comes Donic’s World Champion 89 Persson. This blade has a blend of hardness that makes Stiga Genesis M on the backhand side explode with power! This energy translates into awesome looping on both wings (if done correctly). With its huge sweet spot, blocking is awesome. I have good control. The only weakness I think it has is the feel of the ball when serving. It seems different to me than any other blade that I tried. It’s hard to explain, but it’s just different in my opinion. I use R47 on my forehand, and it works well with this blade. I’m very happy with how it has performed as I try to take my game to the next level :) If you are an offensive player who loves to attack, play some “D,” and counter-attack, this blade is worth consideration!

Good blade and I like it.
#30 — August 2017
First impressions of this blade are very powerful. With its dwell time, it is good enough to make the ball more rotating with a little friction. I use the Dhs Hurricane 8 in the forehand and Stiga Genesis S in the backhand. The ST handle makes it easy for me to backhand flick on the table. I highly recommend this blade for players who are fast and aggressive. I like this blade.

Madera de excelente calidad, muy buena velocidad y excelente control. Posee un gran punto dulce, sus terminaciones están muy bien detalladas y se nota que en Donic se están esforzando por hacer productos de mejor calidad.
#32 — February 2016
Очень быстрая. Атакующая. Если ставить XIOM Omega IV Pro или V max, то получается очень даже неплохой вариант. Играть можно как топс-, так и плоскими ударами. Очень требовательна к технике.
#33 — October 2015
Very powerful with great speed and blocks very well. Works well with the Formula Donic Big Slam rubbers. Handle fit very nice in hand. You ask it and the blade can do it if proper technique is used.
#34 — April 2015
This product has a low price and good quality. It is worth buying.
#35 — December 2014
Fantastic blade! I was using a Waldner Dicon with Bluefire M2 (FH) and Bluefire M3 (BH) and this was a great change. I just changed the rubbers from the old blade to the new one and suddenly I was able to do things I never did before, with great control, placement and a soft-touch feeling I never felt before.
I felt like… Waldner! When throwing some tricky shots it was like I thought of what to do and where to put the ball and it went exactly to the target.
#36 — November 2014
This blade is offensive, but very heavy (102 grams).
#37 — October 2014
This blade has good control, high power, and speed, but it is heavy at 98 grams. Thanks.
#38 — October 2014
The blade is of a very high quality. High speed is impressive, but it does not lose control. Thank you for that quickly sent the order.
