Excellent feeling, control, and offensive play! All in this blade.

#2March 2024

I gave four stars only for the rather small handle instead of a large size.

#3February 2022

Very good blade. Feeling the ball. Forgives the mistakes.

#4January 2022

Handle size seems like a normal blade. Perfect blade for an intermediate player building a good technique.

Big delay + hard outer white ash wood — gives you enormous spin potential! I use it with Sieger PK50 right — the perfect combo for me. 3rd ball power attack is very difficult for your opponents, with a good variety of spins and good control for all-round play, you can even chop with it! Also, Violin has a big sweet spot compared to other all-wood blades. Speed — lower end “off”.

#6April 2020

Handle not as big as I expected. Actually, it is just a bit bigger than a normal Violin.

A beautiful blade that gives you everything you need, also speed when combined with an offensive rubber. Excellent Tabletennis11 service. Thank you!

This blade is definitely the best I’ve tried so far. If you are looking for a blade that excels in control, rather than speed, I suggest you try it… very forgiving.

If you want a moderately fast offensive blade with good feeling, this is the perfect choice. The quality of the build is simply perfect. The white ash outer plies are beautiful and special. I don’t have big hands, but this large handle version is very comfortable for me. So, if your hand size is average, I can offer this version. It’s a flexible and thin blade that’s good for looping, but the feeling is hard and solid. The speed is in the OFF- range, but the control is very high. I use Haifu BW on FH, and Xiom Vega Asia on BH. I’m very satisfied with this blade.

Love this blade. Nice handle. Nice weight. Feels right. Easy to maneuver. Great feeling. Pairs really well with a fast spinny rubber.

Decided to try this out because of its excellent reputation. Did not disappoint. Tabletennis11 was a breeze to deal with and even sent me the list of weights for each blade they had in stock. Received blade in 3 days with shipping in the USA at no cost. Second time I’ve ordered from TT11 and really impressed with this company.

My Violin is 88 grams (I typically prefer weight around 80g), and plays like no other wood blade I’ve ever tried. Handle thickness is awesome and finally I feel comfortable. Balance of blade is perfect, even with the higher weight.

No need for carbon unless you’re a top-level mid-distance player with this blade. It’s all about precision, spin, and feel. Flips on FH and BH banana go over with ease and placement.

Blade has gears as you increase power, but there is a limit. This is not a fast blade, maybe All+ to Off-. But paired with Tenergy 05 powerful + high throw rubber, it is the best combination for attacking close to the table I’ve used. Craftsmanship and quality equal the best I’ve seen and possibly even a notch above Butterfly. 3 months in, I know that I will be using this for a very long time with enjoyment.

A nicely finished blade. Good control with enough power. I use it to play backhand long pimple 0.5 mm sponge.

#14May 2017

High-quality OFF blade with good vibration, balanced for spinners.

#15February 2017

Perfect quality, control is excellent (with T05/64), flexy, and good vibrations.

#16March 2015

If you don’t play it, you don’t understand the value of this blade. Amazing spin and control. Someone said slow, instead I find it fast enough because every shot goes exactly where you want. Blocking is easy; I never could imagine why a lot of users love it. It’s absolutely a dream.

#17February 2015

One word: amazing and highly professional assembly of the blade from tabletennis11.com. The blade is very elastic, and the sound is wonderful. I have Xiom Sigma 2 Euro max on both sides.

Thank you to all the staff of TT11, very fast in the answers both for technical and commercial questions. Very happy for your courtesy and nicely assembled racket. Again, thank you, Francesco Rinaldi.

In the category, celodřev VIOLIN belongs to the absolute high class. Profi processing, Nittaku quality, excellent playing characteristics. Infa Tabletennis 11 repeatedly to shop, always fully satisfied.

#20July 2014

Very good blade, feel, control perfect.

#21July 2014

It’s one of the best blades for playing with spin and all-round playing.

#22April 2014

Having used it personally for 1.5 years, I would put my views based on the standard parameters people look for:

Feel: Awesome, very different than usual all-wood blades. Control: Great on loops as well as drives --> point and shoot with dwell time (one needs to get used to dwell if they are coming from a faster/composite blade). Spin: Great rotation on the balls as well as spin on serves. Speed: More than average for an all-wood blade; smashing has a great feeling.

To summarize, this is a blade with unique characteristics for an all-round aggressive player. It really excels at the table; a few feet back one should be using one’s strength to maximize the effect of play using this blade.

For collectors: The outer layer of this blade is white ash and the finish looks so good that I didn’t even feel like gluing my rubber on it.

#23February 2014

The quality of this blade is undisputed. Excellent finish, and the L handle is very comfortable. (Nittaku should make their reg FL handle like this!)

The performance of the blade is just ok. It should be labeled OFF-. If you are used to dynamic composite blades, or even the Acoustic, you might be disappointed with the Violin.

However, if you are curious about this blade, the low price and great service from table tennis 11 makes it worth it to try.

#24February 2014

Great blade

#25January 2014

I really like this blade. It is soft and full of control. With T05, it’s the best blade I’ve ever played. TT11 is a great site, good product with a good price. Fast shipment, though to the US, it took about three weeks to get the stuff. Great service.

#26December 2013

Excellent touch, enough speed, very flexible!

#27December 2013

I put H3 National blue sponge 40 deg 2.2 and Tenergy 64 2.1 on 93 gr Violin Large Handle. Total weight is 186 gr. It’s a very balanced setup.

Previously, I used ZJK ALC with the same rubbers.

Although Violin is slower than ZJK ALC, you can use your own strength to produce powerful loops.

This blade is very good for looping and smashing; blocking is very good, and control is very good. You can defend and attack with ease, which I can’t do so nicely with a composite blade.

I have been using Violin since 2006. I was looking for a heavier Violin large handle; the heaviest I found before was 88 gr, so a 5 gr difference is huge.

Now it’s my primary blade. Violin is a must-try blade if you’re looking for a good feel and control blade. It’s a recommended blade for a beginner to develop his own strength, without relying on the blade to get the power.

#28November 2013

Actually, I like this blade so much that I ordered a second one!

#29October 2013
