Wow! This is an amazing rubber with extraordinary control and an exceptionally soft sponge.

#2 — September 2014

Physical:
This rubber features a light-colored sponge paired with a very soft top sheet. It is exceptionally lightweight and has a grippy surface, though it lacks tackiness. Additionally, it comes well-packaged and displays the ESN tensor logo.

Spin:
As with most soft rubbers, the spin generated at low swing speeds is very good. You don’t have to exert much effort to initiate play after a heavy backspin. The grippy top sheet facilitates easy lifting with just a flick of the wrist. The spin excels in opening loops, slow spinny loops, and controlled near-the-table loops. However, as you increase swing speed and move further from the table, the spin—like that of most soft rubbers—begins to diminish rapidly.

Speed and Control:
Again, the rubber shines when used close to the table, excelling in various aspects. However, as you play further back, some of its advantages are lost. The rubber provides solid speed and remarkable control on blocks. Flicks also showcase significant speed, as the rubber does not deform excessively during these shots, leading to excellent placement.

Recommendation:
I would primarily recommend this rubber for the backhand side. It is particularly suited for developing and recreational players. If you are between the ages of 10 and 15, this rubber could be an ideal choice, as it can enhance control and speed, which is beneficial given limited swing speed at that age.

Have fun and enjoy table tennis!

This is a good backhand rubber; however, it can also be effectively used for the forehand. I find it to be superior to Plasma 380.

A great forehand (FH) and backhand (BH) rubber! I play with pips and twiddle the racket, so when I use the Roxon 330 on my BH, everything goes exactly where I want it to, with fantastic spin.

While it may not be the fastest rubber on the market, it offers exceptional control and impressive spin. Overall, a solid choice for players seeking precision and spin in their game.

This rubber was great for the first few weeks, but it quickly lost its performance after that. It lost a lot of spin after a month, and the durability is lacking. The topsheet is too soft and began to chip away.

I have now switched to Xiom Sigma Pro, which is much better and more economical.

I was unable to control the Roxon 450 in 2.0mm thickness. The Roxon 330 max is slightly slower than the 450, but it generates more spin, making opening loops significantly easier.

The service has good spin as well, although it is less spinny than Chinese tacky rubbers.

For small actions at the table, the Roxon 330 is slightly better than the 450 because it offers more dwell time, but it still falls short compared to tacky rubbers.

Given the current high prices of Butterfly products, this is likely to be my forehand rubber for a long time.

Roxon 330 is my favorite rubber!

For a soft sponge rubber, it offers very good speed, excellent spin, and unbeatable control.

Players of any level can use this rubber, as it adapts well to your playing style.

Wow, this is by far the slowest tensor I have ever played with. It has a decent catapult effect, but even good old rubbers like Sriver offer the same speed with more spin.

For your information, I played it on a BTY TriCarbon blade, which is actually an insanely fast blade. Still, I couldn’t get any speed out of this rubber.

The rubber is an excellent choice for offensive players. It is very soft, fast, and bouncy. I have used it for several months on an Andro Kinetic Explorer OFF+, and it tends to be almost uncontrollable in the short game.

However, it performs better when playing from medium to far away from the table. Overall, it’s an excellent rubber for both forehand and backhand topspin.

I have been playing with Roxon 450 for a few months on a BTY Amultart blade, and I noticed that the ball tended to go long on blocks and topspins.

After switching to Roxon 330, what a difference! The rubber offers a lot of dwell time, the blade feels lighter, and my control has increased tremendously.

It’s a great rubber overall! However, I am uncertain how long it will last.
