The best backhand rubber for me. It has good grip, speed, and control.

This rubber enables a wide range of spins on serves. It’s particularly effective for short-table cut shots, making it challenging for opponents to return. However, it can be slightly difficult to perform spins due to its high speed, often causing the ball to go wide. To mitigate this issue, simply step back and perform the spins about a meter from the table.

Overall, the rubber closely resembles the Andro Rasanter 47 but outperforms it in every aspect.

This could be the fastest among all Tenergy series, but you cannot have both sides fit with the same T25 FX as it really means for attacking game so you really need to have the stamina to play that kind of game.

I found it too hard to produce spin, so every time, you have to hit hard in order to generate more spins. In other words, if you are not playing attacking game then you should not choose T25 FX instead where you should consider to use T05 and T80. T64 is fine too if you would like to play a safer game where you put control as your priority.

Some players always thought that they can kill their opponent with just one “hard hit” stroke, so every time they hit very hard, unfortunately, it was not always the case where no matter how hard you hit the ball, as long as it is reachable by the opponent, you will be surprised that your opponent may return the ball with more spins and speed. Therefore, you can see that no many top players were using T25 series for championship games. The most common used was T05, T64, and T80.

If you still attempt to master your table tennis skills, I suggest you should consider T05 or T05 FX instead. In conclusion, T25 FX is meant for attacking game.

Most Chinese players won’t use Tenergy series for the forehand because Tenergy was not tacky enough and not good enough to produce “killing” spins. Most top Chinese players were still using DHS Hurricane for forehand and Tenergy for backhand. Please don’t get me wrong; those Hurricanes you can’t get it from the retail shop, however, the Provincial version with blue sponge (make sure you buy a genuine version) is more than enough for an amateur. This combination gives you the advantage to play attacking game where you still can have control in mind.

Great BH rubber. I tried it on TB ALC 2.1 thickness and found it very fast. However, any ball you touch in mid-long distance with just a flick of the wrist and a bit of forearm swing will land on the table and push your opponent back with a decent spin and catapult effect. In my game, it’s good for practice and lots of fun, but my matches are not on this level yet.

So, I gave it a go on Innerforce ALC. The carbon on this blade is “hidden” deeper under two layers of wood, so it slows down the rubber a lot (to the point that I rated it 7 out of 10). What you get instead is great control for receiving service. Pushes and chops are accurate and with lots of backspin, block and active block from the table will just drive your opponent crazy.

The only minus is that it lost a lot of power when you need to take your game two steps back. A little quicker hand action is essential to get speed out of the deeper layer of carbon. If you’re able to go low on your legs, hand under your b…x, and then fast swing, you will get your reward - a beautiful topspin with a high throw angle.

Tenergy 25FX is great rubber. You just need to find a blade for it that suits your game.

This rubber provides amazing speed when you hit the ball, reaching the sponge due to impact. I’ve played with various rubbers, including DHS H2, DHS H3 prov, DHS TG2 neo & TG3 neo, TinArc3, 729 higher & faster, 729-05 & 729-08, Rakza 7, Rasant, Hexer HD, Tenergy 05 & Nittaku H2 pro. By far, this is the fastest rubber I have used.

Spin is also impressive, though not as exceptional as T-05. The topsheet is highly bouncy, making ball placement challenging for beginners. To maintain consistency during rallies, an angle of around 45’ is recommended.

Soft feel blades, such as ALC, AL or all-wood blades, pair perfectly with this butterfly rubber. When using hard/stiff & fast blades, like pure carbon blades, the ball throw becomes bouncier, affecting control.

Very Good Rubber!
Best suit for hard blades! The dwell time is too long on medium hard/soft blades. After I tried this rubber on my friend’s blade (which is very hard, don’t remember the name), I really liked this rubber but when I put it on my TBS blade (both sides), I was a little bit disappointed because the ball staying to much time on blade and need to get use to it! After month switched the FH to Tenergy 80 (which is a lit bit harder).
Overall.

In my opinion, Tenergy is the best rubber on the market. It is outstanding in every way!

After using Acuda S1 (FH) and Acuda S1 Turbo (BH) on a Boll ALC blade for over 12 months, I decided to upgrade to Rasant (2.1 mm FH) and Tenergy 25FX (2.1mm BH) on the same blade.

After three play sessions, I’m mostly satisfied with the switch. Rasant has not disappointed. It’s noticeably quicker, but not uncontrollable, and gives my topspins as much spin as the S1. Blocking, touch, and flick shots are also excellent with Rasant.

Adjusting to T25FX has been more challenging. It feels slower than the Rasant and S1 Turbo, and shots that used to be winners often end up in the net. This is likely due to the T25FX being a softer rubber.

However, when I engage my hips and use my whole body on backhand shots, the T25FX’s catapult effect kicks in, providing an extra gear that other rubbers don’t have. Blocking with the T25FX is also exceptional, offering excellent control.

Overall, I’m happy with the switch, even though I haven’t fully adjusted to the T25FX yet.

UPDATE

Weeks later, Rasant is still great, but I’m still struggling with the T25FX on my BH. I’ve decided it’s not the right rubber for me and have replaced it with a new sheet of Acuda S1, resulting in an immediate improvement.

It’s perfect. I love this rubber.

#10 — January 2012

Really great rubber! My game improved 30% after I started using it.

#11 — December 2011

This rubber offers a similar playing experience to the Sriver-EL, but with increased speed and spin.

#12 — June 2011

Great rubber. It is the best Tenergy for blocking. It has great control.

#13 — June 2011

Love it. It’s great for everything. I used it on my friend’s blade, and every shot made was very spinny. It’s great for forehand and backhand.

#14 — November 2010

This rubber stands out from Tenergy 25 due to its enhanced performance. It provides a higher ball trajectory and generates more spin. Additionally, it offers good control without compromising on speed.
