Tensor 26 reviews
This rubber is the best backhand rubber I have ever used. Its active blocks are flawless. It is capable of handling everything from flicks, counter loops, attacks, and counter attacks with expertise. In my opinion, it far surpasses any of its successors.
Especificaciones:
Still a favorite after all these years and all those new “wonder” rubbers “made for plastic balls.”
As a comparison, I’ll take it over Acuda S1 and S1 turbo. It has a better feel, is bouncy, and has lots of speed. Put it on a slow blade and it comes alive. Put it on a med fast to fast blade, be careful for what you asked for. The price is very attractive compared to newer rubbers.
I have reverted to using Kokutaku Tuple 999 despite all the fancy new 2017 40+ rubbers.
Few rubbers have such a classic tensor feel these days, and it just needs a slower blade to unleash its spin potential.
I have found I prefer this rubber over the Rasanter V47 on the backhand, despite the technological advances.
GOOD BH
FAST RUBBER.
Good for backhand. Forehand is good on a Sadius blade.
Fantastic rubber. This rubber can execute more spin although the topsheet is not so tacky.
The only thing that I can say about this rubber is that it is not so durable. I have been using this rubber for only 2 months, and the pimples are already corroded.
But overall, I like this rubber. Because of this rubber, my playing style has changed, and I have become aggressive.
I am using DHS H2 on my backhand, although it is so heavy. It is perfect…
A very fast rubber, it is quite good for offensive play. I found it faster than the tenergys. The spin on the rubber is decent and the control is fair.
What I found lacking is the low throw, which at times hinders topspinning deep underspin balls.
Personally, I like this better than Ten 64 on my BH.
Fast rubber with identical close-to-table functions, yet without any obvious problems playing off-table, despite being “chopable”.
Excellent forehand rubber. It is very fast, spinny, and controllable enough. I used it on both the forehand and backhand sides. However, it can be a bit too bouncy on slower balls. It is easy to adjust to and play with. X1 MAX was my preferred forehand rubber for two seasons until I discovered Andro RASANT. I am still tossing between those two; RASANT seems to have slightly better durability and spin.
Review of Great Spinny Rubber for Forehand
This gray rubber is excellent for playing forehand. It is sponsored by Donic, so it is relatively inexpensive. Despite its low price, it offers good value for the money.
It is worth trying for players with a strong forehand topspin against blocks. I believe this rubber is underrated as not many players use it.
The best rubber, amazing! It’s very fast and provides super spin while still maintaining good control. The hardness of the rubber is medium elastic.
It’s perfect for both backhand and forehand play. An excellent combination on Timo Boll Spirit in 2.0 on both sides.
9.9/10.
I like this rubber. Donic says about this one that it has a medium-hard sponge, but I don’t think it is hard really. It is medium in my opinion (similar to Rakza or Acuda S2).
Its speed is very good, exactly what you need from an offensive rubber. Spin is very good as well. Throw angle is medium, and control isn’t somehow extra high but still enough for slower controlled strokes or blocks.
9/10
The rubber has excellent speed and spin, but its low throw angle may not provide enough control for all players.
Tried the Coppa X1 Gold first and was impressed. This version is even better with more speed and more spin.
The topsheet has a pleasant feel and is not sensitive to incoming spin. Its softness allows the sponge to contribute to service and spin generation. The sponge is excellent, exhibiting great springiness and producing a satisfying cracking sound on smashes.
Despite my intermediate skill level, I encounter occasional difficulty keeping the ball on the table during close play. However, when good contact is established, smashes are remarkably fast. Away from the table, the rubber generates powerful topspin and sidespin loops, and long-distance smashes are equally impressive.
Occasionally, I send the ball off the back end in a straight line without making contact with the table. This rubber demands a skilled stroke, making it more suitable for advanced players than beginners.
The one I had (black, max) has spin as some new rubbers, even after a year.
It’s mortal if you combine it with a hard wood and play mid distance.
I’m very satisfied with the performance of Coppa X1, having upgraded from Donic Barracuda. Coppa X1 is lighter than Barracuda and offers faster speed. Additionally, its rubber surface is entirely non-tacky.
One standout feature of Coppa X1 is its ability to effectively attack incoming spin balls. However, it’s worth noting that its sponge is prone to wear and tear, so durability may be a concern for some users.
Very good overall rubber, with fantastic mechanical spin and very fast speed. It is very good for close to the table play, and powerful for big swings away from the table.
Accuda S1 Rubber Review
The Accuda S1 is an excellent rubber for offensive players. I applied it to the backhand of my secondary blade (Bty TB Tricarbon), and it performs exceptionally well.
Its playing characteristics are similar to those of a “geek rubber,” offering remarkable control and precision. I feel confident and in control while using it.
The Accuda S1 produces shots with a consistent and predictable trajectory, much like eating with a spoon. You can effortlessly manipulate the ball’s direction and spin, allowing you to place your shots with accuracy.
Furthermore, the Accuda S1 generates a high level of speed and spin, making your shots difficult for your opponents to return. It’s as if you’re firing bullets with precision, placing them exactly where you desire.
Very good for smash and block. The soft topsheet makes fast topspin great. It is insensitive to spin from the opponent player. It is also a durable rubber.
Awesome rubber. However, it is not for those seeking a replacement for Tenergy. It has a lower throw angle, making it ideal for blocks, punches, drive loops, and providing power in every aspect. If you have a forehand-dominated style and prefer punching and blocking with your backhand, this rubber is perfect for you.
Despite being faster than Tenergy 64, this rubber offers excellent control. It generates significant spin on serves and counterattacking loops. However, it may not be suitable for slow, spinny loops. To use this rubber effectively, you must apply power and control. Otherwise, consider using a spinnier and slower rubber, such as the soft version.
Furthermore, this rubber boasts improved durability compared to previous Donic rubbers.
Not too fast rubber. It’s slower than XIOM Omega IV Pro, ANDRO Hexer+, BUTTERFLY Tenergy 64, etc. It’s normally used for the backhand, but it’s not really dangerous for the opponent.
This is the fastest rubber that I have played. Looping is easy with this rubber, and smashes are powerful; however, it lacks control.
