Horriblemente mala goma. De partida la abres y parece que viniera quemada como espejo. El efecto paupérrimo.

I used Caliber LT Spin on my forehand, testing it on a Stiga Clipper CR non-WRB blade. This rubber doesn’t give you a hard spin, but it provides a lot of control and bounces well. I believe this rubber is suitable for tactical loop players who have good ball placement. However, it is important to note that this rubber is relatively easy to break, so it requires proper care. Be sure to clean it regularly after practice. I recommend this rubber for consideration.

In my opinion, this rubber is not good for short games, as it is too bouncy. The durability is also not good. However, it still has a good speed.

This rubber provides excellent spin and is incredibly fast.

#5 — November 2015

This rubber offers superb control and spin, making it one of Stiga’s most exceptional offerings. Its durability is impressive, lasting approximately two years with consistent league play and one to two training sessions per week.

This rubber excels in backhand topspin play.

#7 — July 2015

Very bouncy rubber.

It lasted me on my Rossi emotion less than 2 months before visibly dying out. It’s average and overpriced, not recommended.

A very good rubber for all styles of offensive play.

Best rubber for forehand / backhand.

I use Stiga Calibra LT Spin on the backhand. I would not say that it is a substitute for Butterfly Tenergy, as it stands out in its own ways. This rubber is spinny and fast, but not deadly fast. However, you could kill off your opponent with devastating spin shots. I think that aggressive and fast attack players may want to give this rubber a try.

The throw angle is medium, and the sponge is soft, which gives you good control without losing any speed. However, the con for this rubber is that you have to take very good care of it, or it will break easily. Clean it with either water or cleaning foam.

I absolutely love this spinny, fast rubber. It is a joy just to bounce the ball on my bat. I use Tenergy 05FX on my main bat, but I am torn between which is actually better for my “fairly aggressive” topspin game incorporating spinny serves. I suspect that Tenergy is actually slightly better, but Stiga Calibra certainly gives it a great run for its money.

Before I started using Tenergy, I used this rubber for about 10 months on my forehand. In that time, the rubber disintegrated at the edge in some areas, so it’s not particularly durable from that point of view. However, in those ten months, it doesn’t seem to have lost much speed or spin. Highly recommended.

Note that I was using T05 before testing these rubbers on an IF ZLF. The reviewed rubber is an excellent looping rubber. It provides a good dwell time. It is not incredibly spiny, but the spin is sufficient for most purposes.

However, I had difficulty producing the desired amount of spin and ball placement while serving. I believe that this issue can be overcome with time and practice.

Overall, this is a great rubber option for individuals who prefer not to use tensor rubbers.

What a great FH rubber for me! It can do everything on the table and is worth more than 05. Paired with All Round Classic, it became a serious all-round spin attacker. Perfect for my mid-distance play and very good for close to the table. Very well done, Stiga!

Perfect rubber for players who like to utilize spin to great extents without losing the ability to make fast drive shots. Topspins drop right over the net beautifully.

Perfect! I will keep this rubber on my forehand forever. Crushing smashes and topspins with much control.

This rubber is an excellent choice for forehand spin attacking play.

At my club, many people use Calibra Sound, while I am the only one using Spin. I believe this rubber is highly underrated. The medium-soft sponge provides excellent feel and touch when playing close to the table, seemingly better than Calibra Sound due to its reduced bounciness.

It drives equally well but (at least in my experience) generates significantly more spin on loops, chops, and serves. It is the best backhand rubber I’ve used, and it excels on the forehand as well, demonstrating incredible versatility.

After experimenting with the Boost TX rubber, I’ve been exploring different equipment options. I tested the entire Stiga Calibra line and found that the LT Spin stood out.

Unlike other soft sponge rubbers I’ve used, it adapts to the nature of your strokes. You’ll notice its elasticity during serves and flicks, while it exhibits a firmer response during drives and smashes.

The spin capabilities are exceptional, surpassing all Calibras models and even the Boost series. While it may not match Tenergy in this aspect, it offers a balanced spin level that facilitates high-quality shots and effective spin neutralization.

Control is another highlight. However, it requires precise shot execution for optimal results.

This rubber performs equally well near the table and at mid-distance, particularly when paired with a blade that features some elasticity. I’ve been using it with a Darker 5P-2a Hinoki blade, which further enhances its versatility.

If you’re accustomed to low-throw rubbers, adjusting to the Calibra LT Spin may take some time. However, after a period of adaptation (around a month), I’ve achieved a level of consistency that was elusive with other soft sponge options.

Overall, I’m highly satisfied with the Calibra LT Spin.

Well, I use it on my BH. The softer sponge suits me well there. Its tackiness makes you want to play quite an aggressive backhand where the control of the rubber comes in handy. Though I must say it’s a very bouncy rubber with a lovely sound and feel.

The biggest disappointment so far (after merely 3 weeks of use, 6 hours per week) is its durability and tendency to chip off the edges. It looks like it’s been assaulted by a group of gerbils. The poor durability will make me move to another rubber with a harder sponge. Shame, because it has a lovely feel.
