The rubber has a low throw, poor grip, and a significant catapult effect. It is similar to Acuda rubber, but with reduced grip.

I am using this rubber with max thickness on both the backhand (Bh) and forehand (FH) sides of my Gergely Tamca 5000 blade. The spin generated is adequate, including topspins and serves. However, serves often land on the net, especially deep spin serves.

Despite this issue, the rubber provides good overall control. At times, I suspect that the stiffness of the Gergely blade may hinder my play, as the blade is more advanced than my skill level. However, the rubber performs well for smashing and flicking.

I have been using this rubber for a month so far and have found it to be consistently good. It has the potential to be highly offensive if paired with the right blade and played with the appropriate angle and technique. For those seeking to accelerate their point-winning capabilities, this rubber is a good choice overall and provides satisfactory performance.

I am an All/OFF- USATT ~2000 player. I have used this rubber both in the FH/BH.

In my opinion, it is a great rubber for hard direct hitters but less suitable for players who exclusively rely on topspin, due to its low throw angle. I found it to be an excellent BH rubber.

Very crisp feel (medium-hard sponge). Good short game. Fast, but still good control.

The rubber is very light (15% lighter than an Andro Rasant Grip).

I like the Calibra series, and this one is a little harder than Calibra sound. I would say it’s medium hard. It has a nice feel, and I like it very much against underspin when the tacky surface makes it easy to get the ball over the net. It’s also good in serves and returns.

Overall, it’s a rubber for offensive players who like rubber with control.

Disappointed with this rubber. It bottoms out.

I use this rubber on my Intensity Carbon on both my forehand and backhand. It’s a combination that works super for me. What I like the most about Calibra LT is the unique touch, feel, and control. It is not the best rubber when it comes to spin, but for my game style, it works perfectly.

It works well both close to the table and from mid-distance. I feel very secure when blocking with these rubbers, and they are easy to control in short balls. The rubbers are durable and don’t cost a fortune like some of the other pro rubbers on the market. They are the best rubbers from Stiga!

(used on FH; 2.0)

Never thought I’d say this, but Stiga Calibra LT is better for me than T05!! T05 has it all: speed, spin, control. Calibra LT has even more speed and control.

You can control every shot from dropping a serve back short (really short!) to spinning cross court full power. A slow loop can produce a lot of spin when the ball is lightly brushed. The ball trajectory seems to be longer but can be easily adjusted for.

In fact, when you get used to it, the ball hits the table near the end and is much harder to block for your opponent. Pure speed kicks in when you loop full power. Flat strokes aren’t that impressive.

The main difference between T05 and this one is the lower throwing angle. This needs a bit of getting used to. I struggled with this for a couple of sessions. Now things are starting to improve.

When you have to react really fast, the Stiga Calibra LT is harder to handle than T05. So far, I was not able to hit any “lucky” shots. You really have to be prepared for every shot and attack it with vigor!

Conclusion: Wonderful product.

Rubber is for experts and is great for all-around attack players. You can’t go wrong with this rubber. If you can afford it, buy it, and you’ll get what you want!

I started playing table tennis in 1970 and have used a wide range of equipment since then. I am currently rated around 1600 USATT. Out of all the equipment I’ve tried, this inverted rubber is by far the most technical. It features an extremely low throw angle and blazing speed.

Combining these factors results in a long trajectory, which can be challenging for players with weaker technique. However, I have adjusted my technique and am very satisfied with this rubber. While I may not be able to fully harness its potential, utilizing 30-45% of its capabilities has been beneficial.

Stiga has skillfully combined fast attack, spinny, and control rubbers to create a versatile option that caters to skilled players. It offers a wide range of gears and impressive control at any speed. Its long trajectory can be unsettling for opponents.

Spin generation heavily depends on the player’s technique. With precise strokes, you can achieve heavy spin. Alternatively, altering your stroke will result in a trajectory with minimal spin.

I am highly impressed with this rubber. Weighing only 45 grams at maximum thickness, it complements my Barwell Fleet blade for forehand shots and T64 2.1 for backhand shots. Kudos to Stiga for this exceptional product.

This is a good rubber. However, it only lasted for two weeks with 5 days a week, 2 hours a day of play. Additionally, it’s not particularly spinny, but it is easy to play.

Speedy Spin!

This rubber is designed for players who want to add speed and spin to their game. It has a grippy surface that allows for easy ball control and a high level of spin. The sponge is firm, which provides good power and durability.

Overall, this rubber is a great choice for players who want to improve their speed and spin game. It is easy to use and provides good control and power.

A very good rubber. However, the spin is lacking.

#13 — May 2013

This rubber is good, but not as superb as the reviews state. To test its consistency, we weighed 10 identical rubber sheets - 2.0 red Calibra LT - and found a 10-gram difference between two of the rubbers. This significant variation in weight suggests that the product’s consistency is questionable.

High throw angle needs some adaptation! To me, one of the best FH rubbers!

#15 — March 2013

I use this rubber on my Stiga Clipper forehand. It offers a great combination of spin and speed, surpassing Tenergy 05 in this regard. For players with a delicate touch, the rubber enables exceptional levels of spin on the ball.

Upon striking the ball, it produces a distinctive popping sound that may appeal to certain users. Stiga promotes the Calibra rubbers as providing an extended trajectory, eliminating the need for strenuous efforts to project the ball. Despite its medium-hard sponge, the rubber offers exceptional touch and control.

Very fast rubber, quicker than Calibra LT Sound. In my opinion, Stiga’s manufacturers rating is correct. I am not sure how the ratings are calculated in the database at present.

I have used both rubbers for over 3 months.

Using this as my forehand rubber, it does wonders for my range and issues, ranging from comfortable playing to aggressive approach. I am very thankful for it in regards to returning serves. However, when using high-power strokes it seems to bottom out. On the other hand, its catapult effect is grand at medium strokes and blocks. The edges of the rubber tend to chip off, but not as much as LT spin.

#18 — May 2011

Finally, a rubber for the post-glue era! I’ve been able to move away from the spinny, heavy rubbers like Tenergy. You can loop with ease and keep smiling every time you hit the ball. No more injuries after two hours of practice every day, and it’s not heavy. Thank you, Stiga, for your hard work.

This rubber is excellent for loop-to-loop play one meter from the table for both backhand and forehand. Away from the table, you feel like you own the world. Amazing!

#19 — May 2011

Great rubber far off the table, but I still can’t figure out its strengths and weaknesses close to the table. I’ve used Tenergy for so long that the switch is difficult. But finally, I’ve found a rubber that feels like it loops and drives well. It’s not heavy and it’s not a pop-up tensor.

#20 — May 2011

Definitely one of the best rubbers made by Stiga. Great for topspin, and it doesn’t bottom out like Calibra LT Sound. Surprisingly, it’s really good for the short game, as short pushes stay low and serves are very controllable. It doesn’t have as much dwell time as T05, but this is hardly an issue now as LT still has considerable dwell time. It’s faster, is better for blocking, and is better for the short game and touch shots. Blocks are very linear. Use with 7 ply wood like Clipper, although it plays very well on TBS as well.

#21 — April 2011

Slower than LT sound, spinnier and a little higher throw.

Very good away from the table, a nightmare close to it if paired with a nearly stiff blade as clipper cr.

Works great with elastic and medium-stiff blades.

#22 — April 2011

Great rubber, which makes very good spin and gives me enough speed without even boosting.

It is not so soft, so lazy players, like amateurs with no good position, footwork or technique will hate this rubber, but good players will love it.

I personally use this when playing matches in my league instead of the Tenergy 64 rubber I used in the past (with oil booster). It’s now much more popular and I see more good players switching to this rubber.

It’s the best rubber Stiga has ever created so far. No more Tenergy for my forehand topspin.

#23 — March 2011

This rubber is for those who prioritize speed over spin. It excels in blocks and smashes. However, compared to Calibras LT Sound, it offers less control. Overall, it may not be the most suitable choice for every player.

#24 — December 2010

What is remarkable about this rubber is its throw angle. It is very good if your play style is far from the table where you rely mainly on loops and counter loops.
