Composite/carbon
The blade broke when I smashed my knee on it.
This was my first professional-level blade. I still own it after six years of playing with it (and others). I have used Nittaku Flyatt Hard 2.0, DHS Skyline T2 NEO, and currently have Nittaku Fastarc G1 on it. Avoid using DHS. Even though this was my first blade, it is likely my second favorite out of the 18 I have purchased. This blade is suitable for various playing levels, making it a great purchase for someone beginning table tennis with the intention of continuing for many years.
Beginner/Intermediate Player
Setup: Flyatt Caron Blade + Tibhar Nimbus Soft 1.8mm FH, 2.0mm BH.
This blade was a revelation from the moment I attached my rubbers to it. The control and feel it provides are exceptional. It is a noticeably fast and lightweight blade, thanks to its carbon layers (I would rate it 8.5 for speed). However, it still offers ample control and feel (9.3 rating), giving me the confidence to execute my offensive shots more effectively.
While it’s not a soft blade, when paired with soft rubbers, my loops and topspin drives exhibit excellent control and a satisfying increase in speed. It produces slightly less spin than the Andro Hexer rubbers I used on my previous setup. I plan to experiment with faster rubbers in the future.
Overall, this blade is an absolute keeper and an investment you won’t regret.
For the price, this is a very good blade.
It offers excellent control, particularly for players who prefer a close-to-the-table style. You can precisely place the ball and execute easy blocks.
However, attacking with this blade can be challenging due to its slow speed.
I like this item.
I tried it with Hurricane 3 Pro on the forehand and Joola Express Ultra on the backhand. It might be the wrong combination, but still very disappointing.
Really nice bat if you are moving from a wood bat, such as a Yasaka Extra, and are looking to try a carbon bat.
The handle is very comfortable. This bat made me want to explore Nittaku’s higher-end bats, like the Acoustic Carbon.
For the price, it’s a steal.
Excellent quality! With Acuda S1 Turbo + Bluefire M2 rubbers, the speed is higher than a Butterfly Timo Boll ALC blade with the same rubbers. There is less control and a noticeable vibration.
This is a light blade, which suits me just fine.
This blade is surprisingly light and offers a lot of control for the speed it can generate, thanks to the carbon layer.
Even defensive play is quite consistent with a slower, standard rubber like Mark V. It’s ideal for looping and all-around power play, leaning toward the aggressive side.
Match it with the right rubber for your game, and you will be pleasantly surprised by how good this blade is. I thoroughly recommend and enjoyed using this blade.
The bat is a Christmas present and remains unused at this time.
An awesome blade! You can’t go wrong with this one.
5 out of 5 stars. Thanks tabletennis11 team again!
