Oh boy, what a rubber. I have ordered the red super thick version. I have paired it with J& H C55 on FH on Yinhe V-14 Pro with the intention to play BH.
After a few sessions, I got frustrated that my balls just wouldn’t land well, not FH nor BH. The C55 is too sophisticated for my FH level (except for the short game) and the Genex is maybe too hard for my BH level, so I decided to turn the racket, and what a nice surprise I’ve had. Extremely good control, supreme spin when serving, powerful shots perfectly landed on the table, even chops from middle distance. It does it all. And the C55 is not so bad for BH, being a little soft and controlled. I think GeneXtion really deserves its name, being an evolved version of G1 for offensive players. I have a G1 FH and BH on an Acoustic and yes, maybe more control there, but it’s another step up if you want killer shots and a solid game a few steps back away from the table.

A great forehand rubber with decent grip, power, and speed. As a Japanese rubber, it’s a bit on the heavy side. I paired it on both sides and find it quite heavy, but still playable. Loops generate a lot of power. Short game is good. Smashing is powerful enough. I paired it on my W968 and N301. It’s perfect for the 968 since the surface is a bit softer; however, it’s too hard on the N301. It requires a lot of energy to loop through that surface layer to feel the power of the rubber on harder blades.

Above other expensive rubbers.

Using on my backhand replacing my Fastarc G1. Very fast compared to the G1 and can play hard direct shots. Noticeably more exciting to play with than the G1. Rubber is faster than I expected from reading other reviews. This might be due to combining it with a fast blade; it seems to work well combining this as I personally find I can engage the blade power into the ball with the spring of the rubber. This might be the idea of the dual sponge, but I am no expert on that. Plenty of spin with the speed and able to apply plenty of pressure. More of a hitting rubber than playing soft over the table, but can still do it, though better pushing long than short, which frankly I prefer to get the speed and depth back into the game. Building a second setup to have it on both sides, as I find this rubber easy to play with, but more importantly fun as it likes aggressive play.

This rubber is ideal for all-out attackers. Paired with Nittaku Gyo En on both the forehand and backhand, it becomes a deadly weapon that’s still easy to control.

Nothing too crazy. Just a small upgrade over the G1, which is plenty good.

Amazing rubber, a lot of spin, excellent to serve. Very fast, but also very good to loop and counterattack. The only hybrid rubber that doesn’t need a booster.

This is the best forehand rubber I have ever used! It is like the Fastarc G-1, but much faster and spinnier. I will definitely keep buying this product.

Replaced Hammond Z2 with this and very impressed with hitting and looping capabilities. Definitely will continue using this as a great glue-effect rubber.

One of the worst rubbers I’ve ever used. Too hard and medium tacky, you practically do not have feeling of the stroke. The only advantage is the ability to generate a big amount of power during the drives.
