I use this rubber on my forehand. I see many reviews of people saying this rubber has no spin, but that is completely wrong. In my forehand topspin, I constantly brush the ball, focus on spin, and hit hard while brushing. If DHS Hurricane 3 spin is 10/10, I would say this rubber is an 8/10, because it is not tacky like Hurricane.

I play offensive medium-court distance, and this rubber helps me a lot. It is speedy and has a strong catapult effect. On first use, it is difficult to control, but with time, you will like it. This rubber really helps me when I have to just pass the ball/lob. I think it will be much speedier if you use a fast carbon blade.

Final considerations:
If you brush the ball and not just hit, you will have a nice offensive rubber for fh, playing a medium distance court.

Great modern-day sponge and rubber offer power, speed, and control. This rubber provides a wide range of options for players of all levels.

I use an inner-fiber blade paired with Evolution MX-P 50 (Max) on my backhand and Bluestorm Z1 TURBO (Max) on my forehand. These rubbers are excellent and provide a low to medium arc. They offer controllable speed, excellent spin, and good feel. Despite their firmness, they offer impressive touch for precise ball placement. Blocking is effortless.

Tibhar Evolution and Donic Bluestorm rubbers rank among the top choices for modern table tennis when paired with proper technique. In today’s game, heavier blades and firmer sponge rubbers play a crucial role. I highly recommend Evolution MX-S (Max) for both sides of an inner-fiber blade. It’s an exceptional rubber.

Great rubber! It offers high speed, high spin, and good control, making it suitable for looping and blocking. Despite its reputation for being hard, it strikes a perfect balance, offering good feel and responsiveness.

Hard sponge still plays well from a mid-table distance.

I always liked the original MX-P. The MX-P 50 is faster and harder to control. I do not think you can play without boosting unless your rating is well over 2000.

I had it glued on the All around rated Firewall Plus, and it is fast. I boosted it again. I will glue it this time on my C-Pen Darker 7p-2A.7t.

IMO, MXP-50 loses some feel compared to the original. I will give it a try and will update if necessary.

I feel obligated to review this rubber since many are playing with the regular MX-P but not with this superior harder sponge version.

First, this rubber plays much better when lightly boosted using Falco Tempo booster. It brings the sponge to the right hardness, eliminating bounciness. You’ll get higher spin and a lower ball trajectory than with the regular MX-P. Speed remains about the same, perhaps a bit slower in the short game. I believe this boosted rubber has more gears than the regular version.

The sponge appears to be non-tensor, unlike the regular MX-P, so this could explain its improved play when boosted. The regular version is more porous. The 50-degree version is similar to the Chinese orange sponge Hurricane 3, but with slightly larger pores.

Do not boost the regular version; I tried, and it became bouncy and difficult to control. Please note that my experience may differ from yours, as I use blades with softer limba outer plies and a longer dwell time than most popular Butterfly blades (Donic Crest AR+).

Forehand

The forehand is more direct and has more feel than the normal MXP. The control is excellent, and hits/blocks are solid. Loops are lower, giving less time for the opposing player to react. Speed is slightly faster. Spin is improved, as demonstrated when serving heavy chops to several 2000-2200 players. They returned the ball into the net more often than when playing with regular MXP. Chops/pushes also appear quite stable. Notably, the sponge is harder, so it requires more effort to generate power. Overall, it is a nice upgrade.

Best rubbers I have ever used. I was always looking for the fastest rubbers, and I thought that would decrease my control. However, that is not the situation with this rubber.
