A lot heavier than noted 4.0, I paired a max red FH & a 2.0 black BH on an 84g Yasaka Ma Lin Max Carbon, totaling a weight of 189g. Just before, I had on the same blade 2 Yasaka Mark V HPS max red FH & 2.0 black BH, but only 174g total weight, with the same number of glue layers. 15g heavier; I can’t believe it.

Spin is good, but also a lot less than Mark V HPS. You have to engage a lot more of the sponge to get high spin, but this often results in the ball going out of the table. This is true for topspin attack but also for aggressive pushes and short game in general. So, as it’s less easy to get spin, but also with more catapult, control is, for me, less than average. Consistency and durability seem good.

Not tried on another blade than Ma Lin Max Carbon, but with this blade and I think in general with inner carbon blades, it is not a super rubber but only an average one. Mark V HPS, with its softer top sheet, is a lot lighter and significantly better than this rubber.

I used a few sheets of >01 Stiff and also the Limber & Regular. All are good offensive rubbers, being more in the balance of power, spin & control. Stiff is the fastest & Limber gives the most loud sound in hitting. They are user-friendly rubbers and easy to handle. The only little weaker point is the average durability. Often you’ll see them on sale for < $US 45, so stock up for a few sheets. You’ll like it!

Everybody says this is best on the backhand. I turn my blade around and for me this is best on the forehand. Good solid spin rubber, nice throw angle, and even flat hits are easy with this. Blocking is like a dream.

After reading some reviews about how good Victas 01 stiff is on backhand, I decided to give it a try. And bingo, it’s another great rubber with excellent overall stats.

Speed and spin are great, and it has amazing control. I’ve never hit so many killers reverse pendulum backhands. It took just a few sessions to break in, to achieve the 45-degree hardness feeling, which for me is the best backhand hardness. Thanks, Victas.

High performance rubber features a 45-degree sponge that is highly responsive yet not bouncy. It offers excellent grip, producing exceptional spin and control. This rubber is highly recommended for all-around players to offensive spin junkies seeking optimal performance.

I am very satisfied with this rubber on my backhand. I previously used Tenergy 05 and was looking for better control, which I have found in Stiff.

The spin is great, and the speed is very good, but it is also very easy to control! The sponge is medium-hard, but the topsheet is really hard rubber, which you can also feel when you cut it on a blade.

I really recommend this rubber!

I got 1.8 red and am currently using it on Hurricane Hao 2 Cpen as my RPB rubber.

The control is superb! The consistency of my shots has improved. RPB flicks are easier. Blocking feels good.

I still haven’t tested the rubber for RPB looping mid-distance to conclude how good it is.

The rubber gave me excellent short game pushes.

The one thing I am having difficulty with is my third ball attacking with my BH. The ball tends to go into the net. I think the problem is my technique, it needs adjustment and more practice.

I also think that the rubber is very durable. It doesn’t collect much dust at all.

Speed: Like T64

Spin: Slightly less than T64

Throw Angle: Slightly lower than T64

Incoming Spin Sensitivity: More insensitive than T64

Personal Experience: I use it on my backhand, having moved from T64 and T80 to this rubber on a BTY ALC blade.

Great rubber. I use it on the TBS on the BH side, and on the FH, I played with T05. I have already thrown away the T05 and ordered a second Victas Stiff. The control of this rubber is surprisingly good, and it has an off speed with excellent spin. This rubber is for offensive players who want to control a game with consistent power and spin. If I have to compare Victas with T05, with Victas, it is easier to do open topspin, and it’s less sensitive to incoming spin.

I was looking for a FH (OFF carbon blade) rubber similar to Rasant (for topspin and active block). My local dealer recommended V01 Stiff to me, and I’m very satisfied with it.
It offers more control and spin than Rasant, with enough speed for retopspin 3-4m away. I can even chop 3m away from the table.
However, the speed was too much for me on the BH.

Best rubber ever for backhand, use the normal Victas V >01 for forehand. Victas Stiff is best for backhand.
