Perfect rubber, but it needs to be boosted once. Without boosting, the rubber is not playable for me. It is very good for countering opponent topspin, but not so good in passive shots like service receiving. It’s a fun rubber to play rallies with, but only if it’s boosted. It’s also a very light rubber. I prefer to use it on my forehand. On my backhand, I’m using VJ>07 stiff.

The rubber is very bouncy, suitable for strong players. It is very fast and spiny, but has poor control in attack. It is not suitable for me. I would rather go for V15 Limber.

Just try this rubber for the first time (red, max). I agree with the measurement rating given by Zdenek. The sponge is perfect, but I want to emphasize that the top sheet is hard and thick. For looping players, the stroke must be strong in order for the ball absorbed through the top sheet onto the sponge. The ejection of the ball is fantastically fast and spin with low arc and sliding when it lands on the table.

The advantage of this rubber is not a benefit if the stroke is not strong. Recommended for physically fit with strong loop stroke players.

I was searching for more offerings from Victas and discovered that Ventus Extra is essentially the same as the popular Super Ventus rubber from TSP.

I tested the rubber at maximum thickness on both sides of two distinct blades: Yinhe 970XX ALC and Yinhe Purple Dragon 537 S. As observed with these blades, Ventus Extra exhibits balanced playing characteristics. It has a medium to medium-high throw, which is consistent and doesn’t undergo drastic changes with increased force. The dynamics are high but not excessive, and it offers a precise linear response to power input.

The rubber topsheet is noticeably dense and firm, similar to Nittaku Fastarc G-1. It exudes a high-quality feel, and the red sheet is slightly translucent. Despite the lack of tackiness on the topsheet, the ball is gripped well, and the grip is maintained over extended use. The pink sponge has relatively small pores, resulting in medium bounciness, again resembling Fastarc G-1.

The rubber is fairly heavy, weighing approximately 51.5g when cut and glued. However, this weight does not hinder me. Surprisingly, I feel a sense of security using this rubber during shots. It will likely become a favorite of mine.

An important observation is that due to the firm topsheet, Ventus Extra is better suited for stiffer all-wood blades than reinforced ones. If the blade is too bouncy, the dwell time is noticeably reduced, requiring precise execution in both timing and movement. When paired with the PD 537 S, this setup borders on Off/Off+ speed, allowing for deadly fast and precise finishing strokes. However, the racket weighs a total of 198.5g, which may require additional muscle strength to handle.

Very good rubber of the highest quality, a continuation of TSP Super Ventus. I give similar ratings because I completely agree with them. The rubber is fast with very good rotation and high control.

A very precise topspin, despite a relatively low ball flight parabola, enters the table precisely. Thanks to the small effect of the springboard, you can feel more confident with strong strokes. Raises and shorts are very controllable and easy to pass.

Receiving the serve is relatively easy - the rubber reacts poorly to the opponent’s rotation. It is very easy to catch upcoming opponent’s rotation. It requires a few days of playing for the rubber to acquire the proper properties.

Recommended for players with at least 3 years of experience. The biggest advantages of this rubber, like TSP Super Ventus, are rotation, control, and consistency, without the uncontrolled effects of a springboard.

This Victas VE Extra 47.5, which is similar to the TSP Super Ventus, is a well-liked rubber among those who prefer a more controlled playing style without the excessive catapult effect. The sponge features fine pores, while the topsheet strikes a balance between the rigidity of the Fastarc G1 and the thinness of other rubbers. As a result, the ball does not experience the same slingshot-like launch as with some other rubbers, providing a well-balanced playing experience that allows for versatility in shots.

For those who prefer a slightly softer rubber with excellent performance, I recommend the Rakza X or the Xiom Vega X, both of which offer excellent control while maintaining a high level of spin and speed.
