Top blade! After several all-wood blades (Xiom Solo, Stiga Allround, Korbel, Kong Linhui, SK7), I sought a larger sweet spot while maintaining similar control and feel. I opted for the BTY IF ALC due to its excellent control, pleasant feel, and manageable speed, accommodating both short game and fast topspin shots.

In comparison to the Viscaria IF, the IF ALC provides superior control with a softer feel but slightly reduced speed. The IF ALC allows for more forgiving play, facilitating a wider range of shots with confidence, including blocking and chopping. When paired with DHS Hurricane 3 Neo 39’ on the forehand and Xiom Vega Euro on the backhand, a well-balanced setup with both speed and control is achieved. I highly recommend the BTY IF ALC for intermediate players seeking an optimal balance of speed, control, and feel.

I used this blade for some time and was generally satisfied. However, when I switched to the Xiom Feelzx3 and used the same rubber, I experienced a marked improvement in both control and speed. The Feelzx3 provided me with a noticeable advantage over the previous blade I had been using.

Every thought in your mind is in your hand with this blade. An amazing blade.

This blade is perfect for off- players. I’m currently using it with Sriver L rubber on the forehand and Sriver FX on the backhand. While this may not be the most common combination, it works perfectly for me. It offers excellent control and great speed for powerful attacks on both sides. I’m considering using Tenergry 05 and 05 FX rubbers in the future, but for now, this blade meets all my expectations. Despite its high cost, I haven’t found a blade that matches it. I’ve tried other blades like the Donic Epox Off, Butterfly Petr Korbel (my previous blade), and Xiom Hayabusa ZXI, but none have been as consistent for my off- playing style. It’s worth noting that I’ve been playing table tennis for about 10 years.

The Butterfly Innerforce ALC blade is a high-performance table tennis blade that combines the best of both worlds: the lightweight and responsive feel of carbon fiber with the natural touch and control of wood.

The blade is constructed with 7 plies of high-quality wood, including two outer layers of limba, two inner layers of arylate carbon, and a central layer of ayous. The arylate carbon layers are positioned close to the core of the blade, which gives the Innerforce ALC more control for a carbon blade and a more wooden feel. It also allows more flex on the outer layers, which generates more dwell time for precise ball placement.

Overall, the Butterfly Innerforce ALC blade is a well-rounded blade that offers a great balance of speed, control, and feel. It is a great choice for players of all levels who are looking for a blade that will help them improve their game.

Really nice blade, it wraps up the ball and is controllable. The speed is a little slow, but it is good for rallies or consistent drives.

#8 — March 2015

Very good feeling, pretty close to wood blade so the control is ideal. But when you hit it hard, the power of carbon drives from the inside, just like its name.

Best ball feeling, control, and speed. I use inexpensive rubbers on both FH and BH, and it is great!

#10 — March 2014

After trying various blades, including Grubba Carbon, Balsa Carbon x5 Primorac off-, Primorac Carbon, Tamca, Timo Boll ALC, Innerforce AL, I have settled on this as my preferred blade.

I find that the combination of Baracuda 2.0FH on the forehand and Bluefire 2.0 BH on the backhand provides an excellent setup for my style of play, which is neither too fast nor too slow. The Baracuda is particularly effective for looping, while the Bluefire excels in close-to-table play.

For players transitioning from ALL to OFF level of play, this blade is a solid choice. Its combination of speed and control makes it a versatile option that can be tailored to different playing styles with slight adjustments in the setup.

Good control, suitable speed, and perfect filling.

At a glance: “It Is Amazing!”

I think it has the best action in BTY ALC series but not so much beautiful:(.

The blade I’ve used so far has provided the best experience. It offers an impressive level of control while maintaining a high level of speed. I may make slight adjustments to the wording to ensure clarity.

I have changed from TBS to this and I may say it’s incredible! It provided a lot more control and the same, if not more, speed. The feeling is great compared to TBS.

Comparing this blade with TBS, it has much better control and a little more speed. You can feel more dwell time. I’m playing with Tenergy05 and my game has improved. I’m more confident now with my stroke, even when I go for more. I recommend it.

My previous setup was the TB ZLF, and I decided to try this one out. It’s amazing and I got good control with it.

#20 — January 2011

You are going to get a lot of dwell time with this blade and Tenergy. Control is as high as it gets, better than TBS. Speed is probably faster than TBS too, but it is hard to say. TBS was too slow for me and this was a little too slow for me too, but I might keep it. We will see.

#21 — November 2010

I have tried Timo Boll Spirit and Timo Boll Alc, and now I have tried this Innerforce Alc. The effect is marvelous! You know what? This blade is very off, and it has a very good feeling. Although this blade is very off, it has very good control.

#22 — August 2010

Compared to the TBS, you immediately notice that the handle is not square but rather an oval shape and feels quite slim. The TBS handle is renowned for its comfort, so it is surprising that Butterfly did not replicate it in this blade. However, the blade weighs slightly less than my TBS (95 grams) and provides a much better feel. There is a nice crisp feeling when striking the ball and a tiny bit more dwell time. Due to the weight reduction, I feel there is slightly less power, but my friends have not noticed any reduction in speed. It has definitely increased my consistency, and I would venture to say that it is an overall improvement to the TBS, although the handle is a huge disappointment. It’s worth a try if you’re a TBS user looking for something lighter and with better feeling.
