It’s a very good offensive blade with a flared handle (senso-type).

Nice balance between speed and control. The Ovtcharov Senso Carbon has got 7 plies!

Wosik Senso Carbon with Acuda S2 Max on both sides impresses with its speed, control, and feel. Ideal as a replacement or second paddle for the Butterfly Keyshot (original), it excels in top-spin, push, block, counter-loop, and loop, regardless of speed. While chopping is not a focus, the paddle’s head-heavy setup suits those who prefer it. Weighing in at 94 grams, it feels slightly slower and offers more control than the Waldner Ultra Senso Carbon (WUSC) with similar setups.

However, while the WUSC requires a more closed blade for higher speed and blocking, the Wosik remains more open, aligning better with the reviewer’s style. The blade’s affordability makes it an exceptional value, earning high praise from the reviewer, who now considers Donic a trusted brand. Despite the reviewer’s love for the BTY Keyshot, its sensitivity to different rubbers prompts a transition to the Wosik Senso Carbon.

Lol. Although Chuan Chih-Yuan has migrated to Butterfly and now has the new Chuan Chih-Yuan blade under Butterfly, he is actually still using this model, just with the Butterfly version’s handle.

Maybe it is the best carbon blade from Donic. It is very fast but still retains good control. When you pair it with traditional rubbers, it has a good touch but still remains fast in speed. It can also be paired with formula rubbers, which will result in great spin and power for mid-distance looping.

It is recommended for hitters and close-to-table attackers.

Excellent blade in the Donic family. Quick re-bounce, stable attack, and light body give you an amazing feel and powerful shots.

The blade is stiff and fast but still has very nice control. It surprised me.

Make an amazing spiny and powerful combination with Donic F family rubbers or form a stable and fast combination with classic rubbers.

I play with the Chuan. The feel is excellent, and I love the sound when it hits the ball at low to medium speeds. However, there are a lot of vibrations when hitting at faster speeds. This blade is actually 7 ply but weighs less than most blades. It is fast, but don’t expect it to be as fast as the Butterfly Sardius or Gergely. The head is compact, which renders rubbers cut to its size practically non-transferable to other non-compact blades. The balance is perfect, and no tilting is observed even when hitting at high speed. Overall, this is a very good blade considering its performance and price.

I also have the Chuan cpen, which was renamed Wosik. However, it was renamed again to Ovtcharov. Although it is listed as 5W/2C, overall it has a woody feel. My cpen only weighs 79g.

Paired with T05/T05, you will find that this blade has excellent control for short pushes, great chopping ability, and good power for mid-distance shots. If you like to mix it up with a short and long game, this is a good choice.

Mine is the Chuan; I assume Donic changed only the name after Chuan migrated to Btfy. This blade has 7 plies—not 5 as listed by TTDB—and has speed to match the Btfy Hinoki/Tamca 5000 blades. However, it is more spin-oriented than the Btfy offerings and has a higher throw. This, matched with it being a spinnier blade, makes blocking a bit more touchy than the H/T bftys.

It is slightly heavy, at 90 grams or more, but balanced. It is very good for topspin play for the entire court.

I’ve tried 2 of the newer post SG sheets on it; Boost TC was a bit slow on it and very sensitive to contact angle—didn’t like to be closed and driven forward and was more suited to open-faced loops.

With Tenergy 05, all looping styles are welcomed! At the table, closed angle loops at the top of the bounce yield great speed and stability. From mid-distance, loose balls can still be driven powerfully, and loops taken on the drop can be spun quite strongly.

Fast and spinny, this blade can help those who are looking for a little help in regaining the power lost due to the SG ban.
