Good blade! Similar in speed to Viscaria and Boll ALC, this blade provides a better feeling than both and has more control. Loops are spinny and have a nasty skip off the bounce.

There are no real negatives as long as good technique is used. Despite the good control, it still requires pretty good technique to handle. Consistency and control depend on your technique and day-to-day form. Some days you’ll excel with the paddle, while on days when you’re not playing at your best, you may not be as consistent.

This blade would suit USATT 1500+ players well. The outer ply is soft and flexible, which helps create good loops. Well done, Donic!

This is the best blade from Donic!
You feel the touch every time and take the best feedback on what you did.
The speed is normal when you play slowly like chops, blocks, and services. But when you want to make a very fast and quality ball, you really feel a great sound and a lot of precision in the direction, as well as a lot of quality!
On block, you can feel that you can hardly go wrong with this wood!
I recommend choosing medium-hard rubbers like Bluestorm Pro AM and Bluestorm Pro on the backhand and Bluestar A1, A2 on the forehand.
I tried many, many blades, up to 50 of the best blades, and I think this blade is top 5 for sure!!! It’s worth buying it!

A gorgeous looking blade with awesome craftsmanship. I put Tibhar Evolution MX-S (Max) on both sides and the blade plays wonderfully. It offers great speed with nice control. Blocks very well with MX-S. Ball placement comes easy when proper technique is used. I give the blade a 10 because it does what it is supposed to do. The blade is very balanced. It weighed 91 grams and with MX-S on both sides the total weight is 198 grams (perfect weight for the modern game). With the new 40+ ball, I prefer the weight of a blade between 195 - 200 grams plus or minus a few grams. I purchased the blade from Tabletennis11 and received it within 4 days. It came with fast delivery, great packaging, and free shipping. What more can you ask for?

Donic knocked it out of the park with this one. Out of a lot of the blades I have tried (including Viscaria, Dynamic JC, Xiom Hugo HAL, and Acoustic), this one stands out. It’s very fast, but the control and feeling it provides are special. I can play very consistently for the most part, and it allows me to play a fast looping game without worrying a lot about making mistakes.

What a blade! In the past, I’ve used Nittaku, Butterfly Viscaria, and Korbel blades. In recent years, I’ve experimented with Donic Dotec and Dotec Carbon. I particularly loved the handle’s length and thickness on the Donic blades.

Based on my experience with the Dotec blades, there’s only one con regarding the Xtreme: the handle thickness. It feels like holding a pencil (this is most likely just my personal issue due to the Dotec’s thickness). I’m forced to use Yonex tape (which I highly recommend), making it difficult for me to properly evaluate the blade’s vibration. However, the blade feels great.

The control is incredible. Passive plays, blocks, and short receives are very easy. On the other hand, there’s still enough power for powerful smashes or spins, with a nice trajectory for under-the-table spins. However, technique needs precision; open racket shots are prone to going off.

Also, I was surprised that with Xiom Z1 and Z2 rubbers, both in max+ thickness (total weight 194g), the gravity center was too far in the blade head. This felt very uncomfortable for my wrist. Luckily, in my case, this was slightly compensated by the Yonex tape, which also relieved pressure. With the Dotec blade and the same rubbers, the gravity center was closer to the middle (but it was missing power, perhaps because of this).

I couldn’t be luckier to have chosen this blade. It offers super power with incredible control. 10/10.

My blade weighs 78 grams. In terms of speed, it’s similar to a Viscaria. However, the control is better than the Viscaria.

It doesn’t rebound like ALC blades, and sometimes it lacks power on smashes. It’s great for counter loops.

Overall, it’s a great blade. I wish it had a thicker handle.

Woke. This is a super fancy, “woke” blade.

I own over 100 blades, including the best ones from Butterfly, Nittaku, Xiom, DHS, Stiga, and several others from Donic, Joola, Yasaka, Yinhe, Sanwei, etc.

This blade - the Donic Extreme - is possibly the best and most stable and reliable blade in my collection. It has amazing control, speed, and touch. Every shot can be felt, and this leads to a great improvement in consistency and control. It is great both for the FH as well as the BH. Loops are very stable and consistent and have a long arc, providing a great combination of spin and speed, which causes the ball to kick off the table and accelerate greatly after the bounce due to the spin. In other words, this blade is fantastic for an aggressive spin-oriented game at all distances from the table. In addition to being fantastic for the spin game and looping, it is very good for blocks, placements, and flat hits. The handle is thin - very much like DHS handles and suits my hands very well. For some reason, this blade feels thinner and lighter compared to my other blades (Butterfly TB ALC, Lin Gaoyuan ALC, Nittaku Barwell Fleet etc.) and it fits the hands like a glove, which I like VERY much.

With the proper full arm swing technique, with weight transfer and hip rotation, this blade can produce fantastic quality shots just like the Viscaria but with better feel and control in my opinion.

I bought this blade at a time when it was very new in the market, and there wasn’t a single review of this blade on the internet. I took a risk and bought it as I liked the description of it (the new ‘Spread Tow Carbon’ providing a lot of power without the weight of carbon). By the grace of God, it turned out to be much better than I had expected, and the positive characteristics and performance of this blade are beyond what I had imagined. This was possibly one of my best blind buys.

Very fast and the shot quality is great. Control is decent. Not designed for those with poor technique.

The blade itself isn’t bad, but the handle could be improved within this price range. It’s also a bit small on the ST grip, which is consistent with Donic blades as usual. The speed of the blade is moderate. Interestingly, it gives a sensation similar to the TB ALC, albeit with less rebound and a more substantial feel. Additionally, when you hit the ball hard, the blade feels harder. On the whole, it’s decent, but it hasn’t reached a premium level grade just yet.
