I’m comparing this to the Stiga Allround Classic. I would recommend always getting the Allround Evolution over the Allround Classic, no matter how much of a beginner you are.

There are several reasons for this. First, the handle is a lot larger on the Evolution. For me, who has average-sized hands, the Classic felt small enough to bother me. I feel like the handle was made for women or kids.

Secondly, the speed and stiffness are around 20% more than the Classic. However, the feeling has no compromise at all for that speed and stiffness. Rather, I would say the Evolution has a clearer contact than the Classic. The speed increase is small enough that it makes no difference in consistency. Really, you’re going to hit as many shots with the Evolution as with the Classic, only your shots will be a tiny bit faster, at least in the short game.

Excuse my English.

It’s a really good blade for beginners, especially when you’re first starting to glue your own bats. The focus here is on control and feedback. It’s a traditional 5-ply blade, well-made and provides good feedback. I appreciate that it’s light. However, my copy was a bit rough when I received it, so I sanded the handle and the joint where the blade meets the handle, where the fingers go.

The blade is very forgiving and has a great feel and feedback. It also generates a fair bit of spin with the right rubber, but it is slow. Even when you hit really hard, the ball seems to travel in slow motion. Any ambitious player will likely outgrow it within a season or two. It’s good for newcomers or people like me, who don’t know what to get or what they really like or want. It was good to get me started playing again, but now, in my second season, I’ve moved on to more modern and faster blades.

It is a well-produced, quality blade for a fair price and a safe bet. You can’t go wrong with it, unless you know you are an offensive heavy hitter. If you need a gentle blade that provides feedback and lets you develop your playing style without requiring too much speed, this is it. No need to look further.

I started to get better when I found this blade. It has amazing control, spin, vibration, and feeling. It’s truly my first love.

It’s perfect for developing technique. I first paired it with H3 Neo. Later, I switched to H8 soft for the backhand and H8 mid-hard for the forehand. It’s a killing blade!

Great for all-around play. This blade provides more kick compared to the Allround Classic. It offers good value for the money spent.

If I were to put a name to this blade’s feeling, “amazing” is the word that comes to mind. The blade offers superb control and feedback. Its speed is decent, not as fast as a typical offensive blade, but not slow either. The slight increase in speed claimed by the manufacturer is noticeable, but not excessive. In comparison, the Allround Classic version is significantly slower while providing similar control and touch.

The handle is exceptionally comfortable, making this blade a true all-around option.

Very good blade for beginner-advanced players.

I played on this with Victas V>01 Stiff on BH and Victas V>01 Limber on FH.

I have very good control, but not so much speed.

It is for universal all-around players. For more offensive players, this blade is slow.

Very well constructed with a nice feel. Not too hard or too stiff, it’s a well-balanced blade. Plays well with medium and soft rubbers. Beginners should try it with Mendo Energy or Chop & Drive-like rubbers. Advanced players should try the Boost TS, it’s a pleasure. I like the legend handle, which looks better with some varnish spray.

I have had my current blade for 14 years. It offers great speed and control. I have used it with Juic NeoAnti and Donic Desto Big Slam V3. It feels better over the years. I am looking for a change in my game, probably going for more control, and a defensive wood.

My first blade, good for beginners.

This blade is perfect for beginners who are just starting out in table tennis. It is lightweight and easy to control, making it easy to learn the basics of the game. The blade is also durable, so it can withstand the rigors of regular play.

While this blade is great for beginners, it may not be the best choice for more experienced players. The blade is not as powerful as some other blades, and it may not be able to generate enough spin for advanced players.

Overall, this blade is a great choice for beginners who are looking for a good quality blade at an affordable price.

It is an all-round blade, a little bit soft, with a good sensation of feeling with every shot; you can feel the vibrations. Many people think it is not fast enough, but if you shoot the ball greatly, you can produce powerful shots. I recommend using a medium-hard sponge. Using some rubber without tensor technology is better, like Sriver, 729, Mark V, etc.

I use it as my second blade, and sometimes even my first. Although it’s not the best blade I’ve had, it’s a good all-around blade for both offensive and defensive play.

However, it is a bit heavy with thicker rubbers due to its weight and balance.

This is one of the better all-around blades available. As the description suggests, it is similar to the Allround Classic but faster, having been designed after the introduction of the 40mm ball. It is rated at an All+ speed, which is accurate. You can achieve decent speed with a good stroke.

The blade is also easy to control. It feels soft and offers plenty of touch. It does vibrate slightly, but not excessively. I tested it with both hard and medium-soft rubbers. I found that the medium rubbers performed better on this blade.

This is an excellent blade for beginners or those seeking a consistent all-around setup.

Good control with this blade, but a little heavy for me.

#14January 2025

Una excelente madera que proporciona una gran combinación de juego.

I mistakenly used an extremely aggressive blade like TSP OFF Carbon as my first blade, which led me to have a weird technique.
I knew I had to switch to a more relaxed blade, but not so relaxed that I can’t play! This is my bat now and it’s good. I use Mark V on both sides, very solid all-rounder, not too slow. Using different rubbers, you can make it decently fast. I would imagine.

Your product is quality and cheap.

#17November 2020

Perfect blade for beginners with the plastic ball.

#18September 2020

One of the best all-around blades, excellent feeling. However, you will have to choose a fast rubber for the backhand.

Bought this on a weekly sale. It was a gift for an opponent who was using a Walmart paddle with Nittaku Arufeel rubbers. His game instantly improved. I bought a flared handle. I’ll buy another one when it goes on sale again.

If I were to put a name to this blade, it would be “Feeling.” The control and feeling this blade offers is amazing. Its speed is decent, not even close to a super-fast blade, but it is not slow either. The extra kick in speed that the product promises is real, but not too much. I would say that the Allround Classic version is much slower and offers the same control and touch that this masterpiece gives. The handle is super comfortable, truly an all-round blade.

Speed: Off to Off+.
Thickness: ?
Vibration: None.
Weight: >90g.

#22January 2018

Excellent finish and feeling.

#23January 2018

Very good quality and finish. It requires good technique to bring all the power to each shot. Suitable for modern tension rubbers like Nittaku G1 and TSP Ventus Speed.

#24January 2017

This blade is a little less thick than Clipper Wood, hence has better control.
This is very good for beginners as well as advanced players. Advanced players need to choose faster and harder rubbers like Andro Rasant Turbo.
