As a Cpen player, I’ve been using this rubber on the FH side attached to a YEO7 blade. I have to admit I’m astonished at its versatility.

You can do whatever you want with it. It has lots of control and a beautiful sound when making high-quality strokes. Although it’s not a high-speed rubber, you still have plenty of power to make a killer shot. Topspin and power-looping are easy, and it’s not difficult to place the ball wherever you want. Blocking is also easy because it’s not very sensitive to incoming spin.

I would recommend this rubber to all beginners or intermediate players who want to improve their technique at a control-oriented game.

I’m not a professional reviewer, but I can say that this rubber is relatively soft and may not be suitable for an aggressive playing style.

Been using this rubber on B/H side (red) for some weeks now; excellent for control and pushes give great spin.
Very good to hit with and blocks are excellent. Agree this rubber has shades of MK V but all round I believe it to be a better rubber. Thus far, it supports my technique very well. IMHO, it is an excellent tensor type rubber for club/league players.
Will see if the durability stacks up in the coming months.

Surprisingly, this rubber is very good for pushes and spins far from the table. It is worth the price.

After playing with Mark V on my FH for many years, I recently tried some different rubbers and settled on Hexer Duro.

Despite it being my first real tensor type rubber, I found it quite easy to adjust to due to Hexer Duro having very good control in all strokes. Duro also has some quite similar all-round properties to Mark V, which suits my game style as well as having similar (medium) sponge hardness.

I think it is a superbly balanced rubber with regard to speed/spin/control, and I will stick with it for the foreseeable future.

I’ve been playing these rubbers in 1.9mm on the forehand and backhand with the Butterfly Primorac for one season. I find them very versatile, as looping, blocking, and short play over the table are quite easy to execute.

What I find particularly helpful is the higher throw angle that I was missing with my previous rubbers (CTT National Hero, Yasaka Mark V). This higher throw angle supports my technique. It’s hard to understand why this rubber has a relatively low rating considering that it is quite similar to the Xion Vega Europe.

The red sheet is significantly superior to the black one in terms of performance.

I’m surprised that no one has mentioned how soft the sponge on the Duro is. It’s definitely not medium hard but soft instead. On loop drives and hits, the ball bottoms out, and it sounds like it’s hitting wood. It doesn’t have a linear response, and I don’t like it.

If you like your sponges soft, this might work for you, but if you like your rubber linear but durable, you might want to look elsewhere, like the classic Sriver or Mark V.

Very good rubber. I’m not sure why it has such low ratings. It can be used on FH or BH very directly with plenty of spin. I am using it on Xiom Zetra Quad as a forehand rubber in 2.1mm thickness. It is excellent for topspin drives, looping, and blocking. The hardness is perfect for me, somewhere between medium and medium-hard. It has great durability.

This rubber is amazing and durable as well.

I have never before had problems in gluing any rubber, but this rubber makes water based TT glue to fluid after a couple of days. I tried to glue it to two different blades but got a hard cleaning job in both cases. Compared to Andro Rasant, Duro plays much weaker in every aspect. Rasant, above all, stays in the blade!

Edit 11/2013:
After about 10 failed trials with three different glues, I found a glue that worked properly. I also found a soft all-wood blade suitable for this rubber. The more I have played this rubber, the more I like it.
So I upgrade my overall rating from 8 to 9.

I use this rubber on both the forehand (FH) and backhand (BH). I particularly enjoy using it on the FH because it enables me to generate a lot of spin, despite being a novice player. This rubber produces more spin than the Roxon 330 and provides excellent value for the price.

The rubber has a hard top sheet with a medium sponge. I think this rubber has been overshadowed by the Hexer HD, but it’s not bad at all.

I’m sorry, but the text you provided is too vague for me to properly clean up and format. Can you please provide more context or a more specific text for me to work with?

Yes, one of the best looping rubbers I’ve ever used.

#16 — May 2012

Amazing control for precise shot placement and consistency.

Spin is fantastic, enabling aggressive play and generating devastating spin on serves and returns.

Speed is good, providing a balance between control and power.

Try this rubber and experience a new dimension in table tennis, unlocking your full potential and elevating your game to the next level.

Must try one of the best rubbers now.

I have been playing with this rubber for a few months now, using both 1.9 and 2.1 sponge thicknesses. I find it to be a well-balanced offensive rubber with no noticeable weaknesses.

Previously, I played with Andro Impuls and, even further back, Sriver L. The top sheet of this rubber feels slightly thicker than the standard Hexer, which is likely done to ensure longer durability. As a result, it feels a bit harder than the Hexer (though I have not used the Hexer myself).

Looping is easy, both near and far from the table. Slow and fast loops are both very good. Spin is also quite strong on serves. Chopping is no problem, though it is a bit easier with the thinner sponge. Blocking is also good.

I have tried this rubber with the Andro CS7 Pro and Andro Kinetic Supreme Off blades. For looping, I prefer the Kinetic because it has a softer surface layer (Koto), which gives more feeling to the spin.

This rubber is currently available at about 25% below its original price, indicating that it may not be selling very well.

Overall, I am sticking with this rubber as it meets all of my needs.
