I am using this rubber on my backhand with a Stiga Carbo 7.6 WRB blade.

Firstly, people often recommend this as a Tenergy alternative, but it is not. It has a little less spin but more speed and control than Tenergy 05. However, it is different. I don’t call it an alternative; I give it the same status as Tenergy 05. The rubber may be better than Tenergy for players who like it and give it time. Don’t expect to know how it plays after five minutes. Get a sheet and play with it for a couple of months, and you will feel the difference.

It is a blessing for me on the backhand side. I switched from Tenergy and can feel my game improve. I get more spinny and powerful backhands on the table and more loops. It is definitely worth trying and can be better than Tenergy if it suits you.

Sigma Pro, which has spin and speed comparable to T05 and control similar to T64, surprised me.

Like most of the new 2012 Tensors, this rubber is heavy at 49g when cut. It feels too fast for me, coming from Omega IV Pro. It also has less dwell time and a lower throw. I prefer Omega IV Pro. In my view, this rubber could be good on a slower Allround blade or for all-out attackers.

Good in speed but less spin.
Feels soft, but provides a lot of grip.
Too heavy in maximum thickness.
Best used as a backhand rubber.

Xiom Sigma Pro is a very good rubber. It offers excellent spin and control, making it a great choice for players of all levels. The rubber is also very durable, so it will last for a long time.

This is an amazing rubber! I personally prefer the Sigma Europe, as it provides better spin.

I have used this rubber for over a month and have not yet noticed any signs of wear.

Easy to get used to, good for backhand with my Butterfly Mizutani MaZe. Very nice rubber. You should try it. You will love it.

Very good rubber for the forehand. I’ve used it on a Tibhar Stratus Powerwood. It provides amazing speed and spin with very good control. Highly recommended!

The rubber is very fast with good spin. I use it with Viscaria on my forehand, and the control is also good. It is a little bit faster than Omega IV Pro, but the control and spin are almost the same!

The first thing you can notice is the weight. It is a very heavy rubber. On touch, it’s well, click-clack feels very nice and I really enjoy it with my game. It’s a very fast rubber, especially far from the table. It has good spin and control, but its big minus is the slight tacky touch. You have to be careful with this rubber because it is not for everyone. Don’t put it on the hard blade!

Suitable for attackers, this rubber offers high speed without compromising control. However, it’s crucial to master proper stroke technique to maximize its effectiveness.

Compared to T05, this rubber offers a softer feel. It provides good control, though it may not be as spinny. However, it compensates for this with faster power loops. The throw is relatively low. Despite its distinct feel compared to T05, it can still serve as a viable replacement for forehand (FH) play.

It feels very soft, not so fast and spiny. I am playing with Vega Pro on the backhand, and it is better than Sigma Pro. It is not spiny, good for service, has good control, is not so fast, and has a soft feeling.

I have been playing with Butterfly Tenergy since they came out and they are excellent. However, the Xiom Sigma Pro has greater speed and a lot more control. It is perfect for the attacking player. The more you put into it, the better. It is quite good to chop with, a different angle and not as spinny as Tenergy. Easy to block and flick with. It has a lot bigger sweetspot than Tenergy 64.

I have used it together with a Donic Waldner Ultra Carbon blade. It is a breeze to loop with. Overall, it is one of the best tensors, but it is too soon to say anything about durability.

If you look for a very fast but easy controllable tensor rubber, this Xiom Sigma Pro will deliver.

Hey! Have a nice day… and go out and play!

Nice control and speed.
Ball bounced higher than a T05 on the same blade.
Much cheaper too.

Very hard on touch, but when you play with it, it feels soft with great spin sensation. It’s the best alternative for Tenergy 05, and I’ve tried almost all rubbers that are close to Tenergy 05.

I play with Schlager Carbon, and it’s amazing how easy are power smashes and heavy spin on half distance. I just hope that it will last like Vega Pro or Omega Pro. For this money, it can’t get much better!
