Inner — great feeling: much better than just carbon — it plays perfectly with rubber Andro Rasanter R 42 or Tibhar Evolution MX P or S.

Straight flat cut and sharp flat strokes. (Weight 83 g)

Wonderful short game with great control.

The blade is a bust, and the worst. I paid $130 for it.

I also own the Violin Carbon blade. Nittaku Acoustic Carbon Inner (NAC Inner) offers an excellent feel and control similar to the Violin Carbon. However, it is slightly slower and stiffer. NAC Inner is highly user-friendly due to its soft touch and exceptional control. The carbon layers only become noticeable when striking with force.

The blade boasts a large sweet spot and performs well across all types of strokes, particularly in looping. It pairs effectively with tacky Chinese rubbers. For backhand play, I suggest using hard rubbers on NAC Inner if you prefer active blocking and punching shots. Medium or soft rubbers tend to result in less control for harder shots. Hard rubbers provide superior control for NAC Inner on backhand.

It is important to note that this blade is head-heavy, which aligns with my preferences (though this may vary among players). My blade weighs in at a remarkably lightweight 87 grams. The handle is slightly thinner compared to other blades, but this has minimal impact on my gameplay.

Lastly, the craftsmanship of this blade is exceptional, featuring a beautiful finish. Given its versatility, I highly recommend NAC Inner to players of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. If you are willing to invest, this blade offers exceptional value for money.

Update: After several months of play, I am certain that NAC Inner deserves a solid 9 rating in terms of speed. I find it puzzling that the average rating on this site is only 8.7. NAC Inner is undoubtedly faster than Stiga Infinity, which is rated at 8.7 on this site.

Outstanding feeling. Not stiff like many carbon blades as the carbon is buried deep and really just is noticed on hard hits. So it is not a very fast blade. Same as Acoustic on soft touch, a bit of a kick on hard hits.

Amazing blade… the best I’ve played so far. For three years, I played with the Stiga Intensity NCT, an off blade that lacked control and was stiff. Unsuitable for me, I then switched to an all+ blade, the Yasaka Sweden Extra. It offered excellent quality for the price, with great control, spin, and feeling. However, it lacked power and had a medium sweet spot, occasionally causing vibrations.

The Nittaku Acoustic Carbon Inner C Pen has only positives: amazing control, ample power, excellent feel, perfect weight, comfortable handle, and exceptional quality. Its only drawback is the price of €182, though it’s available for €146 with TT11 Weekly special prices. This blade is truly a gem.

Having tested the wood, outer, and inner versions of the Acoustic, I can definitely say that the inner is my favorite. It is an incredible blade in every way. The inner blade is like a more stable version of the wood blade, with more power when needed. Short game is easy, produces massive spin with good rubbers, and has no discernible weaknesses for me. I’ll definitely stick with this one!!!.
