I adore this blade. I transitioned from a Yinhe Earth 3 VB, which also featured a Limba-Spruce-Ayous wood composition. I utilized that setup for almost a year before switching to this blade. I maintained the same rubbers: DHS TG3 for forehand and Yinhe Mercury 2 medium for backhand.

I perceive this blade as a natural progression from beginner-recommended blades like Primorac or Samsonov Alpha, which offer average speed, ample control, and flexibility. It strikes a balance, being neither too fast nor too stiff. As a penhold player, I find it effortless to generate spin or a combination of spin and speed. It feels like an extension of my arm, markedly enhancing my reverse penhold backhand.

This blade is ideal for advanced beginners or intermediate players. However, advanced players may find it lacking in speed. If you prefer a faster blade, consider the Intensity or Yasaka Ma Lin Extra Offensive.

After testing many blades, the Offensive Wood NCT combines perfectly with h3 neo and tg2 neo. It is superior to dhs pg7, galaxy n-9, galaxy T-11, and Andro Super Core Cell OFF due to its flexibility, lightness, and dwell time. For players who are not very fast, it may be a bit slow. It chips easily. In my opinion, it is the best blade by far with dhs rubbers. Regards.

The tagline “Designed for a technical and fast game with full control” accurately describes this blade. It’s an excellent versatile offensive blade that offers good touch and control, yet provides sufficient power when necessary. It’s well-suited for versatile offensive play, with spin and speed variations, and excels in close-to-the-table play. Its power may be limited for regular offensive play far from the table.

While I haven’t used the Stiga OC, this Offensive Wood NCT feels distinct. It’s notably more stable and predictable, with a blend of stiffness and softness. Its limba outer ply imparts a soft feel, ideal for topspin play. I perceive it as average in many aspects (speed, stiffness, hardness), which is a strength for me. I’ve paired it with Genesis M or H3 Neo on the forehand and Rakza X Soft on the backhand, achieving a balance of speed and control.

Very interesting blade. When I was using soft rubbers, I had issues with looping, hitting, and blocking. Few days ago I glued Chinese mid hard DHS Huricane 8 on FH and Hallmark Panther BH (also hard sponge - before Clippa ) and a miracle has come. The blade showed a new face. With hard sponge rubbers, it works excellently. Fast, nice control, perfect hits and loops.

The average weight of 80g is confusing, as mine weighs 92g. The blade offers a flexible feel with a wide sweet spot, prioritizing control over speed. While the thin handle may not be the most comfortable, it pairs exceptionally well with hard rubber. However, it performs poorly with soft rubber. In service, the blade generates a significant amount of spin. Its looping capabilities are excellent, but it performs averagely in blocking and under-spin. Notably, when paired with Chinese rubber (forehand h3), it becomes an exceptional blade. Overall, despite its minor drawbacks, it remains a generally good blade.

The blade is very lightweight yet powerful. The sweet spot is huge! There are no variations on the surface and it also comes sealed. You can feel the ball when you hit it. I am thinking of buying a new one.

This is a wooden blade that is soft, has some flex, is fast, light, and has a great touch. It is ideal for players who need a lighter, more Offensive Classic blade.

More specifically, this blade is stiffer than the Offensive Classic and Offensive CR blades, but has more flex than the Allround Wood NCT and Allround Classic blades. It also has more flex than the Clipper Wood blade.

It is much softer than the Offensive CR blade and softer than the Offensive Classic blade, but as soft as the Clipper Wood blade.

It is slower than the Offensive CR blade and the Clipper Wood blade, primarily due to its lower weight. However, it is important to note that this blade becomes slower over time because it has an NCT coating (sealing layer) that gradually wears away. This results in a noticeable difference in speed between a new blade and a used blade.

Because of its light weight, softness, and flexibility, it can be challenging to finish points with this blade as it is not very powerful.

Finally, it is worth noting that this blade was used by Xu Xin prior to the Rosewood 5 blade.

I’m not very experienced in this sport yet, but I can say that the wood of the blade is very soft physically. It’s quite fragile and splinters by the side of the blade, likely caused by the side tapes.

I use Palio Thor’s (max) on both sides of the blade. The top sheet of Palio Thor’s is said to be soft, while the sponge is hard (very hard for me). When combined with this blade, the control feels great, and I can easily aim at the line.

An awesome blade! It’s no wonder Xu Xin used it. You can’t go wrong with this one.

Very good control. This blade is especially useful with Tibhar Nimbus Rubber for topspin.

It’s nothing special. That said, it’s a very balanced offensive blade, and combined with the ‘right’ rubbers, it may fit well for intermediate to advanced loopers and offensive-minded players.

I tried it for a week with Tenergy (05 and 64) on both sides, and it didn’t impress me with power, speed, or control compared to my TSP 6.5, Joola Viva, or Tibhar Power Wood. I offloaded it to another club player. Mine was 82 grams. I’ve also seen 85-gram and 87-gram copies with identical handles.

Very good control! Not as fast as expected with a 2.0 mm Tibhar Genius on the forehand. For its price, it’s a great blade!

Well done, Stiga.

Cons - Possibly splinters across the head of the blade, recommending blade sealing.

Pros - By far the best blade I’ve used for the price. Not outrageously fast (I have added Tenergy 05 with it), and control was easier than expected. The stiffness wasn’t hard, exceptionally good for something like this.
