The Tibhar Evolution FX-S rubber is a highly regarded choice among table tennis players, particularly for its exceptional balance of speed, spin, and control. Designed to cater to aggressive attackers, this rubber excels in delivering powerful top spins and offers players a great degree of versatility. With a speed rating of 8.7, the FX-S allows for quick offensive plays, while its impressive spin rating of 9.2 makes looping and topspin shots a breeze. Moreover, the control rating of 9.2 ensures that players maintain precision and accuracy in their shots, making it an ideal rubber for both intermediates and advanced players.
In terms of tackiness, the FX-S has a low rating of 1.3, indicating that it is not particularly sticky. This feature contributes to its performance in fast-paced scenarios but may require players to adjust their stroke techniques to maximize spin generation. The rubber has a medium weight of 5.4, which is beneficial for maintaining a good balance between speed and handling. Durability stands at 7.5, suggesting that while it is sufficiently robust for regular play, it may not withstand excessive wear and tear as long as other options.
For players seeking alternatives, the Tibhar Evolution FX-S is often compared to the Tenergy 05FX, a more expensive option. While some players note that FX-S may not match the speed or throwing angle of the Tenergy, it remains a fantastic budget-friendly alternative without sacrificing performance. The FX-S also generates a prominent catapult effect, making it user-friendly and suitable for those looking to enhance their offensive strategy on the table.
This rubber is sometimes recommended as an alternative to Tenergy 05FX. I used both in maximum thickness and red on the forehand.
First of all, FX-S was offered 20 Euros cheaper than 05FX. However, I was slightly disappointed because it is slower and has a lower throw than 05FX.
Lifting backspin balls and lifting the ball from beneath the table is much easier with 05FX. I found no noticeable difference in blocking or control.
The topsheet looks strong and durable. Nonetheless, I will return to 05FX, as it is the best I have found so far for my forehand (on an Adidas Fibertec Classic blade).

The Evolution FX-S is my go-to feel-good topspin rubber for my forehand. It offers tons of spin and good speed, allowing me to place the ball precisely where I want. Despite its capabilities, it is not too heavy. My rubbers consistently weigh between 44-46g (2.0mm).
This rubber interacts exceptionally well with my DHS 301 blade and my PP Vispower blade. It also performs well on a Sanwei HC-5S. However, I have noticed that it may lack some speed on all wood blades, such as my Darker 7P-2a or the Ma Long 5 (Nittaku).
Despite trying numerous other rubbers on my forehand, including Omega VII Euro/Pro, FX-P, Fastarc G-1, C-1, P-1, Vega Japan, Tour, Pro, Hexer Grip, EL-P, Super Ventus, and others, I consistently find myself returning to the Evolution FX-S. Its superb combination of power, spin, and control makes it an exceptional choice for my playing style.
