Very fast rubber, yet you can still feel dwell. It is spinny rubber when brushing. When hitting, you need to brush for clearance over the net. Serves are spinny. It is hard to serve short with lots of backspin only. Flicks are hard to perform. It is good for countering with good technical users. Very fast!
Kind of heavy. It is 72 grams in Max. It lasts for 2 months, then the sponge becomes dead. The spin is OK, but not impressive. I am going back to Rakza 7.
I have 2mm on my Xiom Hayabusa ZX, on both sides. At first, it seemed to catapult a lot, and I could not keep it on the rubber for enough time. After the breaking-in period was over, the fun began.
It has a great feeling and is very forgiving. I can compress the sponge hard and produce a loud sound. Smash, loop drive, push, block, and drop shots are all easy. I got more points from rallying.
Good rubber for a topspin beginner.
Review: Table Tennis Rubber
This rubber offers average speed and spin. However, its speed can be enhanced by using a fast blade. The soft topsheet allows the ball to sink in easily, providing good control and spin.
For players above 1600, a fast carbon blade (96-99/100) is recommended to optimize performance. Topspin and blocking are particularly effective, with the ball remaining low. Underspin pushes are also precise and controllable.
The rubber’s linear response provides excellent control. Looping is effective, and backhand flicks are executed with ease. Serves generate significant spin.
Update 3 Weeks Later:
The topsheet has become less flexible, resulting in reduced blocking ease and increased speed. However, the linear performance remains. Dwell time has decreased slightly.
To maintain spin, a rubber cleaner is recommended after use to remove dust and sweat.
Update 3 Months Later:
The rubber has lost some grip in the center, becoming firmer. After a 3-week break, the topsheet regained its softness. This rubber excels on both forehand and backhand and is lightweight.
Additional Update:
A second pair of rubber sheets was procured, but they differ from the first. The second pair is heavier, has a harder sponge, and offers less spin and durability. The manufacturer’s modification of the rubber’s composition is not appreciated.
I changed it from BH to FH. It’s a very explosive rubber. The sponge hardness is around 42° degrees. It’s a snipe rubber and very easy to serve with.
Excellent rubber for topspin attack (topspin against topspin, topspin against backspin). I have played with it on the forehand side of a Stiga OCC blade with maximum thickness for one year. Blocking and chopping near the table are also very good. The rubber is not very sensitive to incoming spin.
Update after 4 months: The rubber is very durable, and after one year, it is still in very good condition. The spin and speed are still good.
I replaced the rubber on a 5-ply all-wood limba blade. It plays better on this blade than on the Stiga OC carbon blade. With the all-wood blade, I have an excellent feel and more dwell time. I believe that for non-professional players, an all-wood OFF blade is a better choice for this rubber than carbon blades.
One of the best rubbers for all-around attackers. Best quality rubber from XIOM.
This is an excellent rubber. It offers great spin and adequate speed, while also providing perfect control.
Extremely Lightweight Rubber
This rubber is extremely lightweight, making it one of the lightest available.
Excellent Performance
For the past six months, I have been using black max rubber on the forehand (FH) side of a balsa blade. It offers excellent speed, spin, and control at all distances from the table. This rubber is ideal for topspin loops, flat smashes, and block push players.
Specific Considerations
Due to its lower throw angle, flipping requires more effort. It is recommended to pair this rubber with a medium-soft to medium-hard blade. Extremely fast, hard, or stiff blades may not be compatible.
Durability
Handle with care to avoid banging on the edge or side of the table, as the rubber is very soft and prone to breakage. However, it is surprisingly durable, as evidenced by its ability to withstand grazing.
Exceptional Accuracy
This rubber provides accurate shots with lower bounce on the opponent’s side. It is an excellent weapon for precision play.
I love this rubber. I use it on my forehand, and the ball always hits perfectly. It works great for whatever you’re doing.
A very controlled rubber, quite insensitive to incoming spin. This helped me improve my blocks and return of spin-loaded serves. It has good spin on its own, which helps with serves and topspins/loops.
However, it is a little on the slower side compared to Tenergys and X1 Turbo Platin. Overall, a good rubber for backhand.
Amazing rubber with phenomenal control!
Drives are fast, loops are spinny, and blocks are easy.
This rubber excels in all aspects; it’s hard to dislike. Recommended to everyone.
VERY fast and spinny rubber. Your technique has to be really good to control this rubber. It is very close to Tenergy 64.
Put it this way, any great player could win a major championship with this rubber. It is that good!
This is one of the best rubbers I have used in my 10 years of table tennis experience. It is very close to the Tenergy series (having used all of them). When needed close to the table, you can generate loads of spin. Making the ball reach the table from the back of the table is also a breeze.
Taking about control, this rubber provides unmatchable control. I use a lot of drop shots and can easily make a drop shot with the ball bouncing twice, even with good side spin on the ball.
The only issue is that the serves are not as spinny as the Tenergy 05 FX. I think the rubber is using the sponge more than the topsheet, per my feeling and knowledge.
I would say just go for this rubber; you would not be disappointed for sure. Make sure you use it on a medium-hard blade like Mich. Maze. I used it on hard blades, and it did not produce the same magic.
I play with Jpen Xiom RSM Gold 10.6mm (hinoki). I’ve also tried a carbon/balsa blade. For these blades, I have used Vega Europe (too slow even for a carbon blade), Vega Asia (faster than Europe but too hard for my carbon blade), O4 Asia (too hard for the carbon blade, also too fast even for hinoki, less control), and O4 Europe (as fast as Vega Asia, but a bit softer and with better feeling and very good control for the speed. However, it is harder for the carbon blade than I can afford).
Therefore, I think that for my style and level of play, O4E is the best rubber. I have also used O3 Asia (bad control) and T05 (sensitive to incoming spin). T05 has less control than O4 Europe, is spinnier, has a higher arch, and is a bit faster. But I have to say that they are quite close, and for the price, I have no doubt in favor of O4E. I have to congratulate Xiom for this rubber.
Omega Euro Table Tennis Rubber Review
I recently tried playing with the Omega Euro rubber after previously using T05. The two rubbers are vastly different, with T05 being in a league of its own. However, the Omega Euro is still a high-quality rubber, particularly suitable for serious and frequent players.
It provides good spin, although not as much as T05. It is relatively slow with a medium throw angle. Blocking requires an aggressive approach to clear the net.
While it may not be a direct substitute for T05, the Omega Euro is a solid choice for players seeking a high-performance rubber with its own unique characteristics.
I am a top-grade player, an aggressive looper with both wings, and my backhand is stronger than my forehand. After testing nearly every ‘tensor’ or pretensioned rubber combination recently, I now play with Tenergy 05 on my forehand and the Omega IV Euro on my backhand.
The spin and speed of the Omega are significantly superior to the 05, especially the spin! (A well-brushed transition loop off a long chop will shock top-grade opposition when you catch their block, punch, or counter loop above your head, which won’t have happened to them for years.)
However, the feel, control, and ‘drop,’ combined with excellent spin and speed, of the 05 make it a better all-around rubber. The Omega has surprisingly controllable touch short and over the table (but not as much feel as the 05), but it is very hard to get a heavy bite when serving with it (which the 05 is a dream for).
The Omega is an amazing rubber if you are a serious player and train regularly enough to control and exploit its strengths. I tested the Omega IV Asia/Pro and Elite and found the elite a bit soft and slow and the Asia/Pro’s too hard. (I prefer to let the ball compress into the rubber a little bit) and lacking too much feel for the short game.
I recommend this rubber for every modern attacking player, both for forehand and backhand.

I am using this as a backhand on a Tibhar ALC blade. It works great for looping and blocking.
This rubber is exceptional. If it were a Butterfly product, it would likely retail for $80 or more.
I believe this rubber will be my last rubber for forehand and maybe even for both forehand and backhand.
Just use it. I have discovered a new world through this rubber.
Very good rubber. Hardness is similar to Tenergy 64. It has a nice feeling and control. Spin and speed are only a little bit under the Tenergys. I switched from the Tenergy 64 to the Omega IV Europe and I’m very happy. It makes playing a lot of fun.
This rubber is good, but not exceptional. It offers nice control, but its speed and spin are not as high as reviews here had led me to expect.
Wanted to upgrade my backhand rubber from Joola Rhyzen Cmd to something that rewards a more active game. I use it as a backhand rubber with a 2mm sponge.
First of all, it looks very high quality and feels kind of soft, but the sponge is more medium-like. First impression: you have a nice feedback, good control, but also a catapult I noticed that was kind of new to me on the backhand side. Flips and topspin on backspin are very easy and consistent.
However, they tend to be long, so I needed to adjust my topspin to put more emphasis on the motion after I hit the ball. Topspins are very spinny when played soft and very fast when putting power into the stroke. Throwing angle is pretty high which makes it easier.
Blocks are very consistent but tend to go high when played passively so it’s important to do a forward motion instead of just holding the racket. Short game is kind of the weakness because of the catapult, I still need to get used to it. However, it’s not super sensitive to incoming spin, so receives are not overly challenging.
But overall the most fun backhand rubber I’ve used and it hopefully continues to push me to play more actively and offensively.
