Composite/carbon
Mi primo lo compró en TableTennis11. Es una hoja muy bonita, lástima que estaba quebrada y TableTennis11 no se hizo cargo.
Maybe regular acoustic is rated off-, but this one is not. This one is pure offensive. No vibration and is very fast and direct. It has decent control and a large handle that is great. It is not similar to all wood acoustic, but to all other carbon blades. It offers controlled power.
Very good job, Nittaku. The handle is perfect!
Blade Review
Construction: 2 Thin Limba Outer Plies, FE Carbon Layer, Ayous Center Ply, FE Carbon Layer, 2 Thin Limba Outer Plies
This blade features a construction that effectively meets the demands of table tennis play. The outermost layers consist of two thin Limba plies, which provide a balance of flexibility and strength. Beneath these outer layers lies an FE Carbon Layer, contributing to the blade’s overall stability and power generation. At the core of the blade resides an Ayous Center Ply, renowned for its excellent feel and control. Another FE Carbon Layer is situated beneath the Ayous Center Ply, enhancing the blade’s stiffness and precision. The outermost layers once again comprise two thin Limba plies, resulting in a well-rounded performance that caters to the needs of various playing styles.
Conclusion
The combination of materials and construction in this blade provides a blend of power, control, and versatility. Its suitability extends to a wide range of players, making it a valuable choice for recreational and competitive table tennis enthusiasts alike.
Excellent blade, but I found it quite different in comparison with some of my other carbon blades. The feeling is soft, even at higher swing speeds, and the blade’s carbon layers are less apparent, so it retains an all wood feel more than any other carbon blade I’ve tried so far.
It may not feel very “crisp” or “lively” to some of you, especially those who use blades with carbon under the top veneer, or all wood blades with a hard outer layer. However, the speed is still there and I would rate this in the high off-/lower off category.
Dwell is high, control and feedback are excellent, and the effort/effect ratio would have to be the most consistent I have encountered. So far I have only tested this with Grip F/H, JP03 B/H, but due to the inner carbon and limba/limba outer plies I think this blade would benefit from harder rubbers, (47 - 50 degrees). Soft or very soft would make the blade feel mushy.
This blade would suit an offensive topspin player or even an experienced allrounder as it is not overly fast, creates great spin, and is fairly benign in nature. The only reservations I have about the Acoustic Carbon is the high price and the weight (90+ gm) which with max rubbers results in a heavy and head heavy setup.
This blade is my new favorite! It’s a top-spin placement dream machine.
Amazing blade… the best I’ve played so far. For three years, I played with the Stiga Intensity NCT, an off blade that lacked control and was too stiff for me. I then switched to an all+ blade, the Yasaka Sweden Extra, which offered excellent control, spin, and feel but lacked power and had a medium sweet spot that sometimes caused vibrations.
The Nittaku Acoustic Carbon Inner C Pen has only positives: amazing control, all the power you need, a nice feeling, perfect weight, a comfortable handle, and perfect quality. The only con is the price: 182 €, but it’s available for 146 € with TT11 Weekly special prices. This blade is a GEM.
I recently purchased the Nittaku Acoustic Carbon Inner blade, and I’m really impressed with it. It has a soft touch, but when you hit a little harder, it becomes stiffer and produces a distinct click sound. I’ve paired it with Xiom Omega V Asia rubbers, and it’s playing amazingly. I may make some slight adjustments to the wording if necessary.
This review is not for the “large handle” version. The normal version is not in the database, so feel free to move if it is created.
It is a very good blade. The build quality is high, as always with Nittaku blades. It plays like the Acoustic, but with more speed when hitting hard. The carbon effect is easy to control, and it only kicks in when you hit really hard.
It is perfect for a looper who needs to have some extra force to compensate for the speed of the poly ball. It still has the same feeling as the Nittaku Acoustic and complete control. So it is not comparable with most carbon blades that have bad control and super speed. It is the best blade for me right now.
I have tried many, I think too many, and eventually I stopped at this one.
Why? It has a wood blade feel but has many gears due to inner carbon. It’s very precise, the ball it goes where you want it to go.
Close to the table, mid-distance, far away, this blade does everything with grace. My level is intermediary. I pair it with Nittaku FastArc G1 on both sides.
Great service from Table-Tennis-11 - Orders are coming faster than the ones I place in the USA. These guys know how to make their clients happy. Also, the discount is great!
A really Nice blade with a lot of control. Perfect first step into carbon blades. Just a bit faster than the wooden Acoustic, but with that extra kick when you attack hard.
After using Nittaku Acoustic (non-carbon) for some time, I was looking for a bit more punch away from the table. I was hoping that the Nittaku Acoustic CI could give me that while retaining the great feel of Acoustic.
Unfortunately, the Acoustic CI is very different from its original. I kept the same rubbers, but after two weeks of trying hard, I just couldn’t control the Acoustic CI. It lacks feedback from the ball and I kept getting surprised by its behavior. If you have the Nittaku Acoustic, keep it. I recommend looking at harder rubbers rather than switching to the Acoustic CI.
The handle was great, though.
The blade is just right for me. It has everything you need - smash, top spinning, blocking, pushing, etc. The large handle is a perfect size. Highly recommended.
Lieliska precizitāte. Spele ir ari loti kvalitativa, un loti patikama roka. Noteikti iesaku visiem, kuri mekle kvalitativu galdatenisa speles pieredzi.
Very satisfied with my choice, the blade arrived and was perfectly assembled. If someone is wondering about the handle size, I highly suggest the large handle. Fit perfectly in my Asian hand.
This carbon inner Blade gives the feeling of all-wood but always enough power for the kill shot. Put on 50degree MX P on the forehand, Razka 7 on backhand, heart combination so far.
Best blade I’ve ever had. It has a great feeling of the ball on shots and a good wood feeling on soft touch. The sound is amazing on smash and blocking heavy drives. It has enough power for medium distance with the inner carbon layer. I’m using Victas V15 Extra on my forehand and Tibhar MXP on my backhand.
It was too fast for me.
The table tennis racket is very powerful and fine. It offers good control during gameplay.
Good on touch play. Not a very fast blade, but if you need a fast ball, the Carbon Inner will help you. Just hit the ball a little harder :D.
This is my first blade after a pre-made racket. You can feel the ball like a 5 plies wood blade. What I noticed is that this blade has a very good and controllable short game and passive hits. The ball won’t go flying away when you make short movements. I have read that this behavior is because of the carbon plies being closer to the core wood, and it’s nice.
When you make the full swing, the carbon will make what it does better … giving speed to the ball. The blade is very fast but not as fast as other carbon blades, so all in all, this is a great blade. What I don’t like of this blade is the handle. I made the mistake of choosing a ST large handle because I had read that the non-large version was too small. The result is that the handle is too large for my hand and it is not comfortable.
If you have bigger hands, go for this (ST), otherwise I would recommend the normal version or ST. I can’t say anything about the FL Large handle version.
This blade is like a dream. The carbon layer provides power when needed, but the feel is there as well. It feels like an all-wood blade. The “large” handle is not actually that large - it is normal.
In search of an Acoustic, I decided to purchase from Tabletennis11 because it had the version with the larger handle. The offer for the Carbon Inner was at a very attractive price and I decided to buy it. After just three days, I already had it in my hand and, in a hurry to use it, I mounted “advanced” still sealed rubbers that I had not put on other blades due to lack of conviction: Donic JP2 2mm on the backhand and a Rakza 7 max thickness on the forehand.
Despite the forced choice, I would say that I was lucky: the combination worked perfectly. It resulted in a racket that has tremendous control, not overly fast, but that manages to do damage on decisive flat shots. As for spin, I admit I’m not very good at looping on a chopped ball, but with this Acoustic, I can do it where I struggle with other blades. Compared to the BT Zhang Jike Arylate-Carbon that I used until now and which I can boldly define as similar, I feel much better. Perhaps it’s due to the fortunate choice of rubbers or actually because I have a different feeling with the Acoustic, but with the latter, I can feel the ball and force without fear.
In conclusion, in my opinion, an excellent blade.
