Used on my backhand, this rubber is quite springy. It offers a good amount of spin, making it really good for blocking and quick placements to win points. I used it with Joola Fever wood and it was a joy to play.

Used it on my backhand with Samsonov Force Pro blade. It has good control, speed, and spin. I could do backhand tap and topspin with ease. Comes with a rubber protection sheet.

So, this rubber was a part of my first custom-made combination with Joola Rhyzm on Joola Rosskopf Emotion. It was good, with nice tackiness and speed. I used it on the forehand and Rhyzm on the backhand. It generated a lot of spin, and the loop was nice. I found the sweetspot for my forehand top spin with this rubber. It’s comparatively on the softer side. The durability is not so great if you play a lot; it’ll die soon. I suggest this to someone for their first pair of rubbers or maybe second… amateurs basically. But going into the intermediate or professional level, you’ll need better rubbers.

Jörgen Persson played with this about 6-7 years ago. I think there is nothing that really stands out. I mean, it is a below average Tensor.

This rubber is of high quality and provides excellent speed, spin, and control. It is particularly well-suited for an offensive style of play.

I’m using Sonex JP Gold on my backhand and Coppa Jo Gold on my forehand on the Tibhar Stratus Powerwood racket. This is an amazing combination for offensive players in the game. The rubbers produce amazing speed, and the spin is also quite good. Before, I was using Mark V FR for forehand and Tibhar Rapid Soft for backhand. I played this combination for almost three years. Now that I have upgraded my racket, I feel that my shots are a lot faster than before. Players who used to block my topspin easily now find it very difficult to do it. Even my serves, which were spinning before, were received by my opponents quite easily, but now when they try to receive it, it bounces off and hits the net! I’m really satisfied with the rubbers, but there is only one problem: the rubber sheet is very thin and can peel off, so we have to be careful as it does not have a long life.

I am using Sonex JP Gold on my forehand (FH) and Coppa Jo Gold on my backhand (BH) with a Donic Waldner Exclusive AR+ ply. I have found Sonex JP to be a bit softer and easier to control than Coppa Jo. FH drives are great with awesome flat hits. Looping from close to the table requires a bit of practice, but the overall control is very good. The slight tackiness helps to give more spin to an already medium-speed rubber.

Overall, it is a very good rubber if you have practiced your strokes and play at an amateur level. It is especially good for those who were practicing with Mark V and want a faster attacking rubber on their FH.

Using this rubber on my forehand with DHS W-WC provides good speed and control. It’s almost equivalent to Donic Coppa Jo Gold, with hardly any noticeable difference except for the price. This rubber is less tacky than Coppa Jo Gold, resulting in slightly less spin, but it excels in flat hits.

Its performance is comparable to Bryce or Sriver. If you’re seeking faster loops on your forehand, this rubber is an excellent choice. Overall, I rate it 8.5/10.

Nice rubber. Perfect for me.

A good backhand rubber for blocking, flicking, and loops.

One of my favourite backhand rubbers. Thin, very flexible and spiny top-sheet, with a medium-hard sponge gives a lot of possibilities in short and mid-distance games. It is good for blocking, looping, easy to flip. I can even chop with it from a mid-distance, even though I do not do it very often. However, I found it very easy with this rubber. Pity DONIC doesn’t make it anymore.

Using this rubber for the past 2 months, I’ve found it to be exceptional in speed, spin, and control. It provides an awesome feeling while playing, and the sound it produces is also very satisfying.

Review of Donic Ultra Carbon Rubber:

With the Donic Ultra Carbon, rallies flow effortlessly like drinking water. Lobbing shots become as enjoyable as savoring a cold beer. Loops feel as smooth and refreshing as sipping a glass of juice. Smashes ignite a fiery passion, comparable to tossing petrol onto an opponent’s face.

Throughout, the rubber ensures precise control, maintaining optimal playability.

Overall, the Donic Ultra Carbon rubber offers an extraordinary experience that will leave you craving more.

Pros:

  • Very fast rubber with good spin and consistent overall capabilities, even pushes.
  • Spin variation is very good. Allows for fast topspins near and away from the table.
  • I use it on FH 2.0 sponge. It might be a bit too fast for my offensive/allround near-table game.

Cons:

  • Combination with my BTY Primorac Off is a bit doubtful.
  • Coming from slower/spinnier rubbers, blade angle requires adaptation (more closed).

I think it is a classic rubber, especially for attackers who need speed in their game. I use it on Butterfly M.Maze on my forehand. I find it is good for mid-distance loops, topspins, and also smashes. I like this rubber.

I use this rubber on a Butterfly Timo Boll T5000. I use Sonex on my backhand and Donic Acuda on my forehand. This rubber allows you to flick with quite a lot of power and is the perfect rubber for backhand attackers.

This rubber is amazing at mid-distance loops, backhand topspins, etc.

Pushing and chopping characteristics are very nice; it has a soft and spongy feel.

The classic sound of it is unforgettable - the table tennis Lamborghini.

Two thumbs up for this rubber!

This rubber is a great choice for players of all levels. It offers good spin and control, and it is also very durable. The rubber is also very responsive, which makes it a good choice for players who like to attack.

Overall, this rubber is a great choice for players who are looking for a rubber that offers good spin, control, durability, and responsiveness.

Very good rubber for offensive players.
Although it’s fast, it’s easy to control.
I’ve used it for forehand in “max”, on a carbon blade, and it was very powerful.

Cons: Not very durable.

I think it is a classic rubber, especially for attackers who need speed in their game.
It is wonderful for backhand.
You can do everything including sidespin, a push with some backspin, lobbing, topspin and of course smashes.
