The blade is relatively flexible, but it handles heavy spin quite well (for example, against a spinny serve). It also has good control for short, precise balls, such as flicks. The Yinhe T-11 blade combines nicely with ALC on the forehand and 05fx on the backhand. The blade produces good speed and power, especially when attacking, while still offering good control.

Compared to other blades

In comparison to the Donic Original True Carbon, the Yinhe T-11 is slightly softer and slower. The TIBHAR Evolution MX-P is significantly faster and spinnier than the Yinhe T-11.

Play style

The Yinhe T-11 is a well-rounded blade that is suitable for a variety of play styles. It is especially suitable for players who prefer fast, powerful strokes, but still want some control for short, precise balls. The blade is also suitable for players who prefer to use a flatter hitting style, as it provides slightly less spin than some other blades.

Conclusion

The Yinhe T-11 is a great blade for players who want a fast, powerful blade with good control. It is well-suited for both offensive and defensive play styles.

I use this blade and the Viscaria. I actually prefer this one. It’s such a great blade. It can do it all. It’s very fast, with great control and feeling. I just feel at home with it. All rubbers just shine on this blade. It’s not too stiff, not too soft, and has a good balance and nice sound. I simply can’t find anything about it that I don’t like. Even the price is great. Donic did a great job with it. Anders Lind uses this blade. The fact that this blade doesn’t have hundreds of ratings here is shocking to me, honestly.

#3Long Time Ago...

Some background information first, and I’ll try to keep it short: I won this blade from Anders Lind around 2023 or 2024. Before he got his own model named by Donic, this was what he used. I received the actual blade from him, still with the original Donic rubbers, after he won his first Pro tournament.

It was, and is, a GREAT blade. It plays as well as my Viscaria, maybe even better. My friend was so impressed with it that he ordered one for himself. However, it was NOT the same blade. We were both confused, wondering what happened. Mine had a “click click” sound, while his had a “clunk clunk” sound. It was a totally different feel.

I went on forums and found out that top players either: a) have blades specially made for them, despite being called the same as what regular consumers pay for. So, forget about trying to replicate your favorite player’s setup, as you won’t get the same equipment anyway; or b) they test out 10-20-30 blades of the same model and find the one that stands out, and use that. This is a confirmed fact.

So, I was praising this blade to the skies in reviews, until my friend bought one. If all the regular production blades are like my friend’s, I can’t recommend it. It’s stiff and has no feel. The cheaper Yinhe pro01 or Sanwei 75 inner are better. Or, go for the best if you can afford it: Viscaria.

The Donic rubbers, however, were amazing. Another friend bought those and put them on his Viscaria, and I loved them when I tried his blade.

Excellent blade with its own character. It’s very fast, spinny, and powerful.

You’ll need some control to execute slower shots. Blocking is perfect. The feel is slightly smoothed.

It pairs well with Tenergy 19 but performs poorly with Bluestorm Z2.

I bought this blade with MX-P50, which I actually didn’t see many players talking about this combination. For me, it works amazingly! I recommend it! Power, spin, block, and more. Works very well.

I love this blade, it is amazing. I was using Butterfly blades all my life, my last blade was the Timo Boll ZLC which is very good and similar to the Donic Original True Carbon. However, I prefer the grip that the Donic Ovtcharov True Carbon (DOTC) has, it is more comfortable for me. I have the straight (ST) grip and some comments say it is a little small, but for me, it was perfect.

I highly recommend this blade for intermediate players. The feeling is amazing and for blocking, it has very good control. I recommend using the Xiom Vega Europe rubber on the backhand (BH) with this blade, with these rubbers you can control a lot of balls in training and in games. For the forehand (FH), I use a Donic Bluefire M2. I like these rubbers because they generate a very good spin with the ball. I like the arc that I can create with this rubber and for me, it’s working well.

I came from a classic Tibhar allwood, which served me well for the past decades. When I tried out my first carbon blade, I knew I wanted to make a change, but I still did not want to pay 200 EUR for a blade. I tried out the DO True Carbon and loved it right from the beginning. I guess I found my new blade!

#8December 2024

Comparing to Viscaria, this blade is harder with less dwell time and a lower throw angle. It is particularly good for executing topspin attacks.

#9October 2024

I was a little skeptical before buying this blade as I had never used Donic before. However, it had high ratings and received some good reviews from professionals.

It has been almost 2 months since I started using it and it has exceeded my expectations. The speed, spin, and control are great.

#10March 2024

It’s not the best blade I’ve played with, but it’s close enough for me. It’s better than Timo Boll ALC. Anyway, I prefer Limba woods.

#11July 2023

I am using it with MX-P on FH and MX-S on BH. The same combo is much better than on my previous Tibhar Black Carbon. I love the sound of the strokes.
I can play from near and far from the table with good (low) angles. This one has a larger sweet spot which gives me a greater advantage and improves my game.
Definitely recommended for anyone looking for an OFF+ blade.

Ajoyib taxta, narx ham qulay.

#13January 2023

For intermediate players, speed and control consistency.

#14December 2022

I recommend it, great for convenient price and management.

  • Fast blade, good for top spin.
  • Crispy direct feedback when in contact with the ball.
  • Good quality.

I really love the Donic company and their products. I often experiment with equipment, looking for that magical racket. I have heard a lot about this blade, borrowed it a couple of times at tournaments from friends to try it out. My main racket is the TB ALC with 19 FH and 05fx rubbers. I needed a setup for outdoor play in parks, but on a budget, as the rubbers wear out much faster outdoors and I was looking for a budget blade with good speed and control better than the TB. And I found it - Donic Original True Carbon, assembled with Tibhar Evolution MX-P rubbers in maximum thickness. As a result, I got a wonderful attacking setup with excellent control.

During the game, the serial topspin goes off the table, I move to the second zone. In the third zone, I return everything to the table, when an attack comes at me, the racket performs superbly. In summary - an excellent foundation for versatile play, a solid all-rounder, I qualify it as a pure offensive setup. The handle is a bit thin, so I have to add grip. The balance turned out to be good - slightly towards the head, which is a matter of personal preference. Try this setup and you won’t be disappointed, that’s for sure.

#18June 2021

The blade is of good manufacturing quality with minimal vibration. The FL handle is smaller compared to Carbospeed. It’s lightweight and offers good control, but isn’t suited for aggressive play. In terms of speed, it’s closer to OFF-.

#19December 2020

Nice handle for me and good control.

#20March 2020

The Dignics 05 is excellent when paired with…

#21November 2019

The quality is excellent, but this blade isn’t for me. I’m used to soft blades with limba or hinoki outer ply. This blade has nearly no dwell time, so it’s not meant for me. It’s ideal for drives, blocking, and counter spins.

#22October 2019

The new design delivered. Much more beautiful and impressive. Quality is the same as the old version.

#23August 2019

It’s a little heavy for beginners and women, but I like the look and feel of it.

I am not a very experienced player, so I cannot really describe it in a “professional way,” but it plays way better than my previous racket. I love it.

#24August 2019

Very good feeling with Donic or Tibhar rubbers.

#25May 2019

Excellent and consistent as usual. The true carbon blade may not play exactly like a Butterfly ALC, but the consistency makes up for it. If you need more than 1 blade to back up your game.

#26December 2018

High-quality blade, very similar to Viscaria.

#27July 2018

Good speed and control, very nice handle, comfortable. Be careful with rubber selection. I am using this blade with Tibhar Evolution MX-P, which is the best rubber choice.

#28February 2018

Review:

Fast and hard, the Boll ZLC is very similar to this table tennis paddle. The finish and design are impressive. The paddle has a very low throw angle, so caution is needed when selecting a rubber. It is best suited for highly catapulted rubbers such as Tenergy 05, Vega Japan, and Tibhar MXP.

#29February 2018

Good. Fast. I love it. The control is very good.

#30February 2018

Good, but the ball is not very bouncy. the paddle is a little heavy, and the rubber tends to peel off easily. However, it is a decent option for beginners or casual players. Overall, not bad for the price.

#31January 2018

This is the best blade I’ve used so far. Good speed and good control. I highly recommend it.

#32January 2018

Cheap price compared to Butterfly Viscaria. However, it can’t be Viscaria’s replacement as people said. Medium throw, good with Tenergy 05 on FH. Good blade for the money.

#33January 2018

Very nice handle, comfortable to hold. However, if you have large hands, it might not be the perfect choice.

The blade has good control, but I would say it is not an OFF+ level. It seems to be more like OFF.

Nevertheless, you get a perfect response from the blade when doing spins, smashes, and loops.

#34January 2018

Unlike other carbon blades, this one makes it easy to excel in power.

It provides better control than the Boll Spirit, which I used previously. Also, the ST handle is very comfortable to hold.

#35January 2018

I’m used to fast 5-ply pure wood blades. I have Stiga infinity, intensity, and maple wood V. At first I was worried that Ovtcharov True Carbon might be too fast because it’s a carbon blade. To my surprise, this blade has really good control that is comparable to 5-ply pure wood blades. In my humble opinion, this should be an Off blade, not Off+.

I suggest medium to hard rubbers for this blade if you are an offensive player. Use medium soft rubber if you are an allround player. Don’t use soft rubbers, because it will likely be too slow.

#36January 2018

One of the good Donic blades. Similar to Timo Boll ALC or Viscaria, but slower, lightweight.
Overall, an interesting blade.

#37January 2018

I have been using this blade for a while now and I am extremely impressed with its performance. The blade is excellent, very fast, well balanced, and offers great control. I have paired it with MX-P on the forehand and Rakza X on the backhand, and I must say that these rubbers complement the blade perfectly. The combination provides me with the speed and precision I need to excel in my game. Overall, I highly recommend this blade for any table tennis player looking to take their game to the next level.

#38November 2017

I had the Butterfly Timo Boll ALC, and after playing with both rackets using the same rubbers, Xiom Vega Pro (FH & BH), I think the speed is almost identical.

The only difference I noticed is that the handle of the Donic Ovtcharow is smaller. However, after using an overgrip to cover the handle, it feels fine. It will take more time to get used to this new racket, but I am happy with it.

#39November 2017

Highly recommend for intermediate players. Very well balanced and provides good control. Generates good spin and speed. Handles loops and smashes very effectively. Overall, a great blade for the price. Would definitely purchase again.

#40November 2017

My favorite paddle to date is the Ovtcharov True Carbon. I own 2 of these blades, using one as a backup. Currently, I am using Tenergy 05 on my primary paddle, and Donic Bluestorm Z1 rubbers on my secondary True Carbon blade. I have rather large hands, and the Ovtcharov True Carbon feels comfortable in my hand, not too small like other blades. This blade would fit anyone’s hand size, really, but I am particularly a fan of the shape and feel of the straight handle.

The Donic Ovtcharov True Carbon combined with quality rubbers like the Donic Bluestorm Z1 generates impressive speed and spin. I find that pushes, flicks, and loops are all easy with this outstanding blade. I highly recommend it for intermediate to pro level table tennis players. Table Tennis 11 offers the best price for this blade, and I suggest purchasing it from them to save $10-15.

#41October 2017

I had the opportunity to play with 4 of these blades recently, as well as two recent production Viscaria. All 4 Donic true carbon were purchased at TT11, two were flared handles 86 and 87 grams; two others were straight handles 89/90 grams. Rubber used were Tibhar MX-P, EL-S, and a few others.

It seems to work with the MX-P the best, producing a lively and powerful combination. This is a very good attack platform, but will require good skills to handle. The combo is all-conquering when the technique is sound and the player is focused, but the margin of error is a narrow band.

Compared to the Viscaria (flare handles, 91/92 grams), it feels stiffer, faster, and produces a flatter trajectory. It also feels a bit less solid, sending a bit more vibration to the hand. Whereas the Viscaria feels more muted and buffered, and provides a bit more margin for error.

#42August 2017

This blade is excellent in all aspects. It offers lightning speed, is a looping machine, and provides great control.

#43July 2017

I’ve used many blades over the past 10 years and I have never written a review until now. That’s how much I am impressed with this blade! Just like other reviewers have said, it is very comparable to the Butterfly Viscaria. Even though the OTC is similar to the Viscaria, there is just something about the OTC that fits my game better.

This blade has great touch at the net, serves well, slow spinny loops, fast power loops, BH punch, active/passive blocking! I use MXP on both sides and it’s a great combo! I really can’t say anything bad about this blade. If you are a more advanced player and are looking for a little more speed in your game, this would be a great option for you!

Also, TT11 is a great place to order from. I live in the US and have recently switched over to ordering from them. Quick deliveries and the best prices online! You can’t beat it!!

#44June 2017

I play with Zhang Jike ALC, but I buy a lot of arylate carbon and aramid carbon blades.

This blade is very well balanced, has a lot of speed and control. The handle is very nice, but a little shorter than average. If your hand is large, it may take a couple of sessions to adapt, but you’ll get it.

Aramid Carbon is slightly slower than arylate. But just a very little. Other than that, you can feel a fine amount of power from this blade.

It looks awesome, with the German flag colors. Very nice blade, I recommend it a lot.

#45May 2017

Good blade, very similar to Viscaria.

#46April 2017

This blade is highly versatile and performs exceptionally fast when used with proper technique. It is, without a doubt, one of the best blades currently available.

#47March 2017

This paddle has a bit of a vis feel to it and is highly suitable for modern looping playstyle.

#48January 2017

Very balanced and comfortable blade. Excellent for offensive play. The price at tabletennis11 is unbeatable. Definitely one of the top blades on the market.

#49January 2017

Comparing to Butterfly Viscaria, which I’m currently using. Speed is identical but the OTC is a bit softer on feeling compare to Viscaria. Over all, this is a great blade to own. A good replacement of the later blade if budget is the issue.

#50January 2017

I really like this blade. It is similar to Viscaria, but faster. The handle is smaller, but it feels good.
