I use it on BH (with V>15 on FH) and it’s a very good match. It offers great control and blocking abilities. I also appreciate its light weight.
It’s also a perfect rubber for beginners, very easy to play with: linear, and forgiving.
As it’s inexpensive, I recommend it to all my beginner friends and they are always satisfied.
Victas V01-Limber Table Tennis Rubber Review
I swapped my regular Tenergy 05fx for this Victas 01-limber on my backhand. I had briefly tried the V01-limber on my forehand two years ago, but it wasn’t a good fit. However, on my backhand, it’s a game-changer.
It’s lighter than the Tenergy 05fx (43-45g vs. 40-41g), making backhand opening loops easier. It’s also significantly cheaper, with two sheets of V01-limber costing less than one sheet of Tenergy.
I initially used 2.0mm thickness, but found that 1.8mm was a better fit for my backhand.
For me, this rubber surpasses T25FX, T05FX, Ventus Soft, Ventus Spin, Hexer variants, Blue Acuda P2, and many others. Highly recommended.
Note: I’m using the rubber on a Ma Long 5 all-wooden blade.
This rubber amazed me when it first came out, and I played with it for a solid 10 years. It was an incredible rubber at the time. However, a lot has changed in the past decade. It holds a special place in my heart, but when compared to today’s top rubbers, it falls short. Spin is no longer enough, and its speed is slow. The ball has also evolved over the years, and this rubber no longer meets the demands of the game. Sadly, it no longer measures up.
I have tried many rubbers over the years and this is by far my favorite. It is a perfect balance of speed, spin, and control. I use it on my forehand and it gives me the confidence to attack any ball. The rubber is also very durable and has lasted me for several months without showing any signs of wear. Overall, I highly recommend this rubber to any table tennis player.
Very good rubber! Good spin and the right amount of power for me. My shots are quite powerful on my backhand and it is controllable. It is a good rubber if you are a spinner or attacker.
I love this rubber. I played Stiga Mark V 2.5 for decades. In my search for a rubber with the same handling on blocking, I finally found this one.
I play a very controlled ball and can attack hard or with a very fast topspin. I only play it with a 1.8 sponge on a Stiga Clipper.
It is a good all-round rubber. I am using it on a CPH Bty. Taksim blade, which is better than a softer blade I used before. It is easy to use and has average durability. If you can buy it on sale, it is worth a try.
The versatile medium-speed rubber is a good choice for backhand (BH) play on an OFF/OFF+ blade.
This rubber offers excellent control, allowing for precise shot placement. It also generates a significant amount of spin, enabling aggressive topspins and deceptive serves.
Good all-round rubber. Pretty fast considering the control achieved. It is non-tacky. Spin is good too, but nothing sensational. I have been using the rubber for a week now, so it may still require some time to break in. The throw angle could have been a little higher. On high backspin returns, more effort is needed to loop than with medium throw rubbers. But I guess you can’t have it all in one.
This is a masterpiece from TSP, that can provide you with a lot of control and spin.
For serves, the very soft sponge and feeling are awesomely soft. I use it on my forehand.
It’s a great rubber that more than equals the top rubbers. It’s good for playing close to the table with hard offensive loops. Blocking is great with a lot of control. The serve is good to play with with a lot of effect. The throw angle is a little flat, which is why I think it’s less great for players who are playing in second or third position.
It is a good rubber: fast, spiny, and controllable. However, it is quite sensitive to incoming spin and not the best option for smashes. It loses some power when playing far from the table and is difficult to glue/unglue. It’s worth giving it a try, but it is not the “holy grail” of all rubbers as suggested by its ratings.
In my opinion, the ratings seem a little unrealistic and unfair to other quality rubbers. It is not better than Xiom (Sigma Europe, Vega Pro, Omega IV Pro), Rakza 7 or 9, Donic Bluefire, or Tibhar Evolution. Not to mention Tenergy 05 or 05FX, which I find superior in all aspects.
Great rubbers.
Very good for blocking.
The ball trajectory is linear.
There is a lot of spin and control.
However, smashing is not so good.
This rubber is great. It offers a lot of spin, speed, and excellent control.
This rubber provides excellent spin and fantastic control. It is a great choice for players who prioritize spin and accuracy in their game.
New brand from TSP.
Used on a Donic Burn All+, the spin is very good. It has a slightly lower throw than the Tibhar Genius Sound.
This is a very good rubber for topspins, and blocking is also very easy to do.
Very good rubber for looping and blocking. Direct hitting is not that easy, but after a while it works.
