Just started using this after Tibhar Evolution MXP. Firstly, I found it a bit more tacky than I expected, almost like Chinese rubber. My sheet is red with max sponge. The rubber seemed to look quite shiny, but maybe this goes away after a while. I’m using it on a fast, stiff blade (Yinhe T11+). After a couple of hours’ use, I really like it. I have to use more effort than with MXP, but I found it easier to hit harder without over-hitting and the ball going long. Occasionally with this Donic rubber, it seemed almost hard to miss the table. From first impressions, I would say I prefer this to MXP.
Speed is nothing without spin. Remember that.
Very good! Has it all. I got a couple of these from Jörgen Persson, who plays in my club, and I got very impressed, so I bought it myself. That was like 5 years ago.
Amazing attacking rubber, but needs strong physics and technique to be used effectively.
As an intermediate player, I’ve spent much time practicing with it, and I’m now quite happy with its performance.
My opinion is that it is underrated, high-end equipment.
Para mí, esta goma es excelente, con buena velocidad y efecto ideal para lanzar topspins súper veloces.
Been using this on FH of 5-ply OFF- all wood blade for about 1 year. The sponge is hard enough that I cannot bottom it out no matter how much I turn my body. It always has additional power/spin available. At the same time though, I can still compress the sponge even when my contact or position isn’t ideal. Control is excellent for something this fast. It felt very comfortable immediately.
The biggest aspect I noticed is that it’s easy to get my loops deep onto the table and low over the net with lots of speed. I flipped my racket around and tried it on my BH and was surprised that it worked so well for me. I normally use slower/softer stuff on my BH as it’s not a strength in my game. Top-spinning sound is very loud and satisfying.
Highly recommended to all attackers for FH or BH. The only drawback is that the durability isn’t the best. It’s not bad, but after 40-80 hours of use I started to notice a significant decrease in performance. Considering you can get this for about $40 a sheet, it’s easy to recommend.
I bought this rubber as my forehand (FH) for the Stiga Classic Carbon (Chinese penholder) and have to agree with some of the claims made by the manufacturer. The rubber will turbo your smash.
In my search to really boost my attacking play, I have used many kinds of rubber, such as Yasaka Pryde, Tibhar 1Q, DHS Tin Arc, Butterfly Sriver EL, and Butterfly Bryce. I found that this rubber was the coolest for smashing.
I agree that at least an intermediate level is required for handling this rubber as it’s quite fast.
However, I don’t understand all the fuss about the poor “control” on this rubber. I paired it with Nittaku Septear and the control is amazing, compared to my previous rubber, Nimbus soft, which had very poor control and consistency on the same blade.
Speed and spin are good. The weight is a problem though. Nimbus soft was very light but this one is too heavy in comparison. I’m not sure about the durability yet as it’s only been two weeks with this rubber on my blade.
Overall, an excellent rubber. I think this rubber will work well with other medium to medium hard and flex blades like Acoustic, Violin, virtuoso.
Great rubber, but not for beginners!
This rubber is a great choice for experienced players who are looking for a high-performance rubber that will give them the edge in competition. It is very responsive and has a good amount of spin, making it ideal for aggressive play. However, it is also quite hard and requires a lot of technique to use effectively. Beginners will likely find it difficult to control, and may be better off with a softer, more forgiving rubber.
Great speed with medium spin and low control. This rubber is best suited for aggressive players who prioritize speed over control and spin.
I recently switched to this rubber from a simple S1 MAX on FH, using it on a Timo Boll Forte in MAX thickness. After playing with it for only two days, I’ve noticed some key differences.
Compared to the S1, this rubber feels a bit heavier, but it’s also faster, spinnier, and offers slightly better control. The arcs it produces are remarkable, with almost every loop effortlessly clearing the net and landing on the table.
One aspect I’m particularly curious about is its durability. The original S1 had impressive durability, so I’m hoping this new version will perform similarly in the long run.
Donic S1 Turbo is a demanding rubber, but once you master it, it becomes exceptional. Its remarkable qualities make it an enjoyable choice. For me, it surpasses the renowned Tenergy rubber. I utilize the Donic S1 Turbo for my forehand strokes.
In terms of speed and spin, it is as good as any Tenergy rubber available. It is a formidable rubber with immense potential. I doubt that any human can fully utilize the level of speed and spin that this rubber offers. If you have it, keep it, as it excels in every aspect.
Super Speed and spin. One of the best rubbers you could ever think of.
Excellent rubber, but my skills do not fit this type of rubber.
Even though this rubber is difficult for me to use, I still like it.
This fast offensive forehand rubber provides good control and speed, making it ideal for loop drives and over-the-table attacks. It also excels at blocking and smashing. However, short balls and serves are not as easy to execute compared to the Acuda S2 due to its increased speed and reduced dwell time. Additionally, the rubber feels less hard or tacky in comparison to Chinese rubbers.
Very good topspin: The rubber generates a lot of topspin, allowing for aggressive and effective topspin shots.
Enough speed and spin: While it has very good topspin, it also offers enough speed to execute powerful shots. The spin it creates is also consistent and reliable.
A lot of grip: The rubber provides a high level of grip, which is essential for controlling the ball and executing precise shots.
Better block: The rubber excels at blocking shots, making it a good choice for defensive players or those who want to improve their blocking skills.
Chop: It also performs well in chopping shots, allowing players to effectively return underspin balls with control and precision.
Easy to control: Despite its high performance capabilities, the rubber is relatively easy to control, making it suitable for players of various skill levels.
One of the heaviest rubbers: It is worth noting that this rubber is one of the heavier options available, which may affect the overall weight of the paddle and the feel of the shots.
Very good for service, loop, push, and smash. Performs better on rigid carbons like the Joola Guo 3C. I use the 1.8 mm thickness and have good blocks as well. It is a bit heavier than I would prefer though.
Wow, this is the kind of rubber I was looking for. You may ask why. First, it’s easy to loop with. The spin is awesome, and the control is perfect. Then, I put it on a Donic Smirnorv Ultracarbon blade, and my table tennis game just got even more fun.
I’m using it on my backhand. It provides great speed and spin, yet it’s relatively easy to control. Overall, it’s an excellent rubber!
It’s the best rubber for more speed and spin and has good control.
This is a very fast rubber that isn’t suitable for everyone. Once you get used to it, you’ll love it. It works well with my Butterfly M Maze forehand.
I replaced the Rakza7 (max) on my forehand with this rubber. The sponge and sheet are slightly softer than Rakza. The most significant difference from Rakza is its throw angle. The S1 Turbo has a much higher angle. The amount of topspin and the ease with which it can be produced with this rubber are truly remarkable.
On my backhand, I use Coppa X1 Turbo. Both Coppa and Acuda have consistently high quality, and I can always count on getting the same products every time I make a purchase.
I put this on the backhand side of a Stiga Tube Carbo WRB blade. I like the weight on my backhand side, and the arch is great. However, it has less spin than Hexer HD, which is my forehand rubber. It loses grip faster than Hexer HD, so I need to wash it more often. By losing grip, I mean attracting dust so that the ball slips a bit. AS1T is also slightly harder than HHD. I hope this review helps!
Bought for someone else who likes the rubber and is suited for their game.
I bought it for my friend. He said that Acuda S3 is faster and more powerful than MX-P.
Good.
I have been using these for almost 2 years with Butterfly Lui Shiwen. Maximum speed and spin, grippy top sheet. Lasts almost 4 months before you lose the grip.
I like it.
Good spin, fast, and fair control.
I was using a Chinese 729 08 ES as my forehand. This Acuda sponge is much bouncier compared with Chinese rubber; you have to loop the ball forward even if the incoming ball is very low with under spin or the ball will just fly out way over the table. I still have trouble adopting this change sometimes.
The loop is much easier than using Chinese rubber, even for heavy under spin, I can lift it without much effort. Also, it’s very forgiving, i.e. even if you are not in a good position or you don’t swing very well, the ball still lands on the table. Not good if you try to make your loop movement correct. But if you already know how to loop, this rubber is a beauty.
Another bad thing is that I can’t go back to using Chinese rubber anymore. I tried once, and the experience was terrible - Chinese old saying: easy to shift from bad to good but hard from good to bad.
People in my TT club say that my loop is faster but less spinny compared with my Chinese rubber. The life of this rubber is good also. I usually play two or three times a week with 2-3 hours each time and it seems this rubber can last around half a year. Two rubbers for a year is not bad considering I already bought 6 of them at a special discount price.
Been using this on FH of 5-ply OFF- all wood blade for about 1 year. Sponge is hard enough that I cannot bottom it out no matter how much I turn my body. I use this for my FH for maximum powerful spin & speed (I have won 2 National Senior Games GOLD MEDALS using this rubber). Quality rubber that lasts many months without losing its qualities.
I put Acuda S1 (max) on the Butterfly Photino, and it was a perfect combination for my forehand, although it didn’t work for my backhand. I tried Acuda S1 2.0 mm on the Photino, and it didn’t work at all for me. Acuda S1 (max) provides a lot of control to spin and hit the ball compared with Tenergy 05 (2.1 mm), which is poorly controllable on my forehand. Acuda S1 is deadly fast, controllable, and spinny on the Photino blade on my forehand. I highly recommend this combination.
After I learned how to control my new gear, I can do blocks, loops, and counter hits from far distances very well.
It’s controlled and fast :)
Faster and softer than Acuda S1.
Good for forehand or backhand. Not very controllable.
Love this rubber. Good and fast for BH.
Good for counter hits and blocks.
The rubber is beautiful, very spinny, many gears, easy to loop, block and the ball goes where I wish!
With this discount, don’t even think about it, just buy it!
Table Tennis 11 provides great service, shipped in a day, arrived a week later!
Donic Acuda S1 Turbo is a nice rubber for playing. It offers nice speed, spin, and control as well. 5/5.
Excellent rubber! Great speed and spin. I put it on the BH on my Nittaku Barwell Fleet, excellent combination. TT11 always pleases with fast delivery!!!.
I love it.
Excellent control and spin with a high speed.
Good speed and spin for forehand; control is also above the average level.
Excelente 11.
Similar to Rozena.
The speed and curve while conducting topspin or block are excellent; if when you play, your movement is similar to a curve when you perform loops. Great feel of the ball while topspinning; can almost feel the ball is stuck on the rubber for 0.1 seconds while doing topspin.
I have been using Tenergy 05 until now and switched to this rubber. I am able to control the Acuda S1 Turbo easily and increase my percentage of returns.
The rubbers work very well, although they are a bit too powerful (and less controlled) for my tastes.
One of my best rubbers for FH.
I’m using it over a Carbon Blade and it’s good for the forehand from an average distance from the table especially. Nice shots are going on to the diagonal and right down the line. Good curves could be made by it.
Great rubbers. I have been buying them not for the first time. Thank you very much.
Zor, tez va ancha vaqt xizmat qiladigan nakladka.
An excellent rubber.
I use this rubber for both the forehand and backhand, on a Butterfly Viscaria blade.
It gives me excellent speed and high-quality spin, along with excellent control.
I highly recommend this rubber for the intermediate player who mostly attacks with both forehand and backhand.
And all of the above for half the price of a Tenergy rubber.
5 stars, truly. Buy it and enjoy it.
Muy bueno, además la entrega fue muy puntual.
Very good.
Very good for fast forehand attacks, stable on serves, lacks some spin in general but overall a very good rubber for aggressive attacking players.
This rubber is definitely the fastest I have ever used.
I love this rubber. It is, for me, better than Tenergy. Medium throw angle, good speed, and spin. Brilliant close and away for the table. Give it a try, you won’t regret it!
I started with Yasaka Mark V in the early 1980s, tested and used 5 different rubbers throughout my table tennis era (including DHS PF4, Butterfly Tackiness C and D, Stiga Tour H, Butterfly Tenergy 05 and 64, and Xiom Omega IV Pro). All of these rubbers are excellent but when you consider quality/price, I settled on 2 rubbers. Xiom Omega IV Pro and Donic Acuda S1 Turbo. S1 Turbo is close to Tenergy 64 for half the price! For me, the original review about its control should be revisited. It has excellent spins and grip. The sensation of power is amazing especially when combined with a Viscaria FL blade.
This rubber is very good for all-round players like Stiga Eternity and Stiga Intensity. Good for counter-attack. Chopping is very solid too.
It’s bouncy, spinny, and has a lot of control. I tried it on Ovtcharov True Carbon, it’s still very controllable on such a fast blade. I recommend it more for the backhand, but you can’t go wrong with this rubber.
Good.
Good spin, fairly fast enough.
Lots of spin, best to put on a slower blade because the rubber is fast.
Good rubber for beginning to intermediate players.
Todo excelente.
Cuesta un poco adaptarse por su velocidad y tratar de mantener el control.
Very good rubbers at a very good price.
Лучших накладок я не пробовал.
Durability is poor.
Fast spinning but not sticky, durable. I find it great for my attacking, spinning style of play.
I switched to it from an Acuda S1 on my forehand. It’s brilliant. Tons of spin, great speed, and remains controllable. Gives a very nice “click” sound when hitting smashes.
The best for the price. Speed and spin.
The table tennis rubbers are very good!
Perfect!
Very good rubber, fun to play with.
