The inner construction gives slightly better control, but it is not outstanding. This is an average attacking racket, but it is quite expensive. In this category, the Treiber Z is a much better choice. However, this racket is good to play with both soft and grain.

Here comes the winner: [name of blade].

Worth its high price, this blade excels in the short game. It’s simply incredible. Spinning the ball is effortless. The handle is exquisite.

This blade is highly recommended for intermediate levels as control is paramount.

I’ve owned this blade for approximately two years. Initially, I found it unremarkable and hoped my perception would improve with time. However, my current impression remains unchanged.

The only aspect I consider above average is the flared handle, which is well-suited for my small hands. However, the blade’s performance in terms of speed, control, feel, and blocking is mediocre. Given its $200 price tag, I anticipated a higher level of quality.

In comparison to my previous Tibhar SPW blade, which I purchased for $55, the Butterfly IF ZLC offers slightly more speed but noticeably inferior performance in other areas.

Overall, I regret spending $200 on this blade and rate it 5 out of 10.

This is my first review, and after trying various notable blades, I must say that the Butterfly “Innerforce ZLC” stands out as the superior choice. It offers an exceptional combination of control akin to the Hurricane 2 with the blistering speed of the Mitzutani Super ZLC, providing a versatile range of spin and power.

Furthermore, the Innerforce ZLC boasts a generous sweet spot, making it incredibly forgiving and allowing for consistent ball placement. It outperforms other carbon blades I have used in terms of controlling and returning the ball to the table.

As a result of its exceptional performance, I have decided to sell my Photino Light, Hurricane 2, and Photino Light blades. This blade is the culmination of my equipment search and has surpassed all expectations.

While I also highly recommend the Innerforce ALC, the Innerforce ZLC has become my go-to blade. I intend to purchase a backup Innerforce once I sell my other blades.

To any table tennis enthusiast seeking the ultimate blade, I urge you to consider the Innerforce ZLC before making any further purchases. It is a game-changer that will undoubtedly revolutionize your playing style. Trust me, as a former “equipment junkie,” I have finally found the perfect blade.

I purchased this blade with high expectations, but was left disappointed. I felt compelled to express my dissatisfaction.

The control was significantly less than the advertised rating of 9. I would assess it at approximately 6. It is exceptionally fast and does not facilitate ball gripping as effectively as indicated by other reviews.

I have utilized the blade for the past year and am only now beginning to adjust to its characteristics. Due to its high cost, I initially hesitated to replace it. However, I have concluded that it was an expensive mistake. While the blade is praised by many, I advise intermediate players (1-5 years of experience) to avoid it. It may impede your development. It is potentially suitable for professional attackers, but not for intermediate players like myself.

Apologies for any grammatical or structural issues with my initial review. I have attempted to refine it for clarity and coherence.

#8 — January 2016

I agree with another reviewer that this blade just feels right. The IF ZLC possesses a special quality that I’ve yet to experience elsewhere. In fact, I’ve spent an embarrassing amount of money trying to top this blade. Yet the TBS, IF ZLF, IF ALC, Vega Europe (blade), etc. have all failed to approach the quality of this blade.

The IF ZLC is plenty fast, yet it has impressive control. It has just enough flex, but is stiff enough to be stable and assertive. It plays as well close to the table as it does at distance. It also pairs well with different types of rubber (though I particularly love a medium-hard rubber like Rakza 7 on it).

For my offensive, 2-winged style, this blade is at the top of the heap.

#9 — May 2015

Perfect blade! Fast when using a full stroke and steady when blocking. Monstrous spin as well!

#10 — January 2015

I really love this blade. It’s fast and spinny. This is my favorite one so far, and though I try to use others, I always go back to Innerforce ZLC.

However, the blade face is a bit bigger than a normal blade. Therefore, it consumes more rubber, and that makes the blade head heavy.

I found out that the perfect weights for this blade to avoid a head-heavy problem are 84g, 85g, or 86g.

The best blade ever. I recommend this blade for intermediate players who want to improve their games. The control is awesome with medium speed.

Don’t forget to put an extra cover on the grip because it becomes dirty very fast. Be patient when cleaning this blade from water-based glue every time you change the rubber. Make sure it is very clean.

I have used it for 2 years and I feel that this blade can make my game better than before.

I have played with the TIMO BOLL SPIRIT (TBS) for 1 year, the INNERFORCE ALC for 1.3 years, and the INNERFORCE ZLC for 0.5 years. For me, the INNERFORCE ZLC is nearly a perfect 10 (perhaps it is the perfect blade in the world for me). Its speed is around 9.6, while the Timo Boll Tamca 5000 is a 10. The INNERFORCE ALC is an 8, and the TBS is a 7.5.

The feel of the INNERFORCE ZLC is a 10, the INNERFORCE ALC is a 9.5, and the TBS is an 8. There is no comparison between the INNERFORCE blades and the TBS (with the same rubber, Tenergry 05 2.1 FH and BH).

The control of the INNERFORCE ZLC is a 10, the INNERFORCE ALC is a 9.5, and the TBS is a 7.5. The power of the INNERFORCE ZLC is a 9.5, the INNERFORCE ALC is an 8, and the TBS is a 7.5.

I believe the INNERFORCE ZLC is the best buy. I have played table tennis for 30 years. Please excuse my poor English.

I’ve used this database for much good advice in the past, but I’m only now tempted to review myself after buying an Innerforce ZLC. It’s awesome! I loved it immediately. I’ve tried a few other blades recently with similar Tenergy rubbers (80fx 2.1 on mine both sides), and although good, they didn’t quite have it. I only tried it because I checked TeeSport for Chinese penhold blades, and only a couple came up. I checked the reviews and thought, “Just go for it.”

It’s the best bat I’ve ever picked up. Like the guys say above, it has a very high price, but you won’t need to buy again. I’ve tried others that are flimsy, uncomfortable, or just not quite right.

Obviously, this is the penhold tested, but playing it shakehand, you can tell a straight handle would be just the same—equally excellent.

I’ve only played for a short time so far, so I can’t really judge the speed. It certainly does not feel too fast. The control is well…the ball goes where you’re trying to put it, so what more do you want? Blocking/counter-attacking is good. Defending seems good too. Like I said, I haven’t tested it too much so far, but after one session, I was playing the style I wanted to play. How much of all this is the rubbers and how much the blade, well…hard to tell, but it just feels right, and that’s what you need to want to play more and enjoy the game.

I’m not saying it’s the best blade in the world, but it’s easily the best I’ve played with. 9.99/10.

#14 — April 2014

This was my first decent carbon blade. I took a leap of faith by paying Euro 160 for it and an additional Euro 150 for a backup blade. The first one weighed 89 grams (ST), and the second one weighed 93 grams (AN). The FH of the AN and the BH of the lighter ST were the perfect combination. I’ve found myself moving between the two blades, mostly using T05s ranging from 1.7/1.9 to max thickness.

This is a fabulous blade, but it tends to have two gears. One is relatively slow, and the speed increases substantially when you start hitting with it, so I suppose you could say it’s not linear. It takes a lot of learning. It’s a unique blade with a lot of vibrations. The ZLC is deep within the blade, past two layers of Limba.

When I bought this blade, I didn’t have the skills to control it and went back to a Xiom Zetra Quad. However, I missed the extra gear that this blade possessed. It’s a blade that I’ve had no regrets buying, and it makes you want to play more table tennis than humanly possible. On a full song, it’s quite brilliant, but somehow misses the middle gear. Still highly recommended, but it is a fast blade and takes a lot of concentration. Once you’ve used the carbon technology of ZLC, nothing else seems as good.

P.S. This blade is stiffer in the heavier weight of 193 grams compared to the medium rating I’ve given for the lighter ST handle one of 189 grams.

Piece of Art and technology combined together. A monster with tenergy rubbers, a killer in the hands of a good player. It should be called Hayabuza for its speed!! But where all the control comes at the same time I have no idea. My best set up so far: FH T64FX1.9 BH T05FX1.9 I am not sure if I need to go further with thickness.

I had 25FX 2.1 and T802.1 on BH, I could manage with T80 after a few practice sessions also T052.1 on FH looked good for my game. The only minus is that it wasn’t my blade, and I had to give it back to my mate.

I’ll look into it when I have founds, a bit expensive but worth every penny - its just pure fun to play. Not for beginners!!!.

This blade exhibits exceptional touch and unparalleled control. It excels in every aspect. In the hands of an experienced advanced player, it can unleash incredible speed or decelerate as desired. I have tested over fifty blades from various manufacturers, and this one surpasses them all. It amplifies my strengths and compensates for my weaknesses. As far as I know, it is the optimal OFF blade. Please contact me if you have any further inquiries.

#17 — September 2013

The blade has a nice feeling, providing perfect control. The speed is adequate, but using very fast rubbers is recommended to enhance performance.

#18 — September 2013

The blade has a moderate speed and a pleasant feel. It is less hard and fast than the Innerforce T5000.

However, the color of the Innerforce ZLC’s handle is unappealing. The yellow hue quickly appears dirty, as do the edges.

A darker wooden grip, similar to the Petr Korbel blade, would be more suitable. Additionally, the edges should be treated with a varnish to prevent sweat from penetrating the blade.

Yet, it is possible that Butterfly intentionally designed the blade in this manner to encourage future blade purchases.

Guys,

If you’re looking for a blade that fits your Tenergry 05, don’t hesitate and buy this blade. It’s the perfect blade for it!

Reasons:

  1. It blocks like a wall. 2) It has very good throw, saying bye-bye to bounciness (medium/high). 3) Mid-distance is very good! 4) It has good speed, 9.5/10. 5) It has the best control of all carbon blades, a perfect 10. 6) It’s beautiful. 7) It doesn’t break. 8) The short game is amazing. It flicks, it pushes, and it’s good in the short game overall. 9) And serving is so massive that your opponent can’t believe it!

The only thing is the price, but believe me, after this, you won’t need another blade, so the price is also very good!

Have fun!

#20 — May 2013

The most amazing thing about this blade is the control. Stories that tell carbon blades are difficult to control are not valid here. I have not seen other carbon blades with such control. You cannot ask for more. The price is so high because when you buy it, you will not need any other blade anymore. Of course, you can buy other blades later, just to see that Innerforce ZLC is the best.

#21 — February 2013

The blade is well-made and durable. It has a good feel in the hand and provides good control and power. The blade is also relatively light, which makes it easy to maneuver. Overall, this is a good blade for both beginners and experienced players.

The blade produces a good amount of spin, which is essential for playing topspin shots. The blade also has a good amount of power, which is important for playing smash shots. The blade is also relatively stiff, which provides good control. Overall, this is a good blade for players who want to improve their topspin and smash shots.

The blade is made of high-quality materials and is built to last. The blade is also relatively inexpensive, which makes it a good value for the money. Overall, this is a good blade for players who are looking for a durable and affordable blade.

After playing with the TB ALC for 6 months, I realized that it was lacking something. I saw this blade with great reviews and tried it yesterday. I put Sigma Europe 2.0 on my forehand and Aurus Soft 1.9 on my backhand, and I can say that it’s a fantastic blade!

It isn’t as fast as it’s rated, but it has fantastic control. It improved the blocks and smashes on my backhand, and I can make loops on my forehand so easily! My only problem with this blade is in the short game… But I only played for 2 hours, perhaps in the future I can control this part!

It’s the best blade I have ever played with!

#23 — February 2013

Es una madera off justa de velocidad. Más lenta que Boll Spirit o que la Petr Korbel.

El arco es impresionante. Gran control. Muy buena para hacer top spins pero te exige trabajar un poco porque la madera no es tan rápida como he leído por ahí.

Innerforce ZLC with DHS National Orange Sponge and Tenergy 05FX:

* Dwell time: Noticeably great. * Feels like wood: But is a faster blade. * Innerforce: Composite material on the third veneer (Zylon carbon). * Compact size and small handle: Initially affected hitting abilities, but adjustments were made. * Limba outer veneer: Contributes to dwell time. * Trying it with other rubbers: Andro Hexer HD and Andro Roxon 450.

Quality made blade.

Date tested: November 2012.

#25 — July 2012

This is what you’re looking for. Just buy it, even if the price is too much, it’s worth it. This blade teaches you to play with a high level of table tennis. (Remember to choose the right rubber.)

#26 — June 2012

Goodness gracious, what a blade. Everyone on the team was in awe of its power and dynamics. After feeling the power and speed, I was surprised by the great control. Away from the table, especially backhand shots with quick wrist movements, were incredible.

The blade is lightning fast, but when you go for the ball and create a spinnier shot (even over-the-table attacking flicks with a lot of speed!), the energy is boosting. The ball goes exactly where you meant it to be, with spin and speed you have never experienced before.

My setup is T64 FH, BryceSpeed Fx BH, and I cannot play enough with this monster. Every minute of play is filled with winners, that’s all I can say.

#27 — April 2012

Top quality blade that’s likely the best non-custom blade available at the moment. Featuring immense power but also incredible control, this is a true professional-grade blade.

#28 — March 2012

Previously, I used the Stiga 7.6 Carbo. When I bought this blade, I was impressed by its wooden feel. It felt soft yet fast, and I absolutely adored it. Additionally, it offered amazing control.

#29 — March 2012

This blade is awesome. It provides excellent control and feel, making it perfect for both offensive and defensive playstyles. The blade is well-balanced, with a slightly head-heavy design that gives it plenty of power without sacrificing too much control. The handle is comfortable to grip, and the overall construction of the blade is solid and durable.

#30 — February 2012

Finally, I found a good and amazing blade. I wonder if there is a better blade from Butterfly in the future?

#31 — December 2011

Blade: Yinhe V-4 Cpen

Weight: 101gr

Characteristics:

- Feel: Woody - Control: Excellent - Topspin: Outstanding - Spin: High - Comparison: Similar characteristics to Yinhe V-4 ZLC but lighter weight

Additional Notes:

- The blade’s weight necessitated a switch to the lighter Yinhe V-4 ZLC, which retained the desirable playing characteristics.

#32 — December 2011

This blade is a monster, great for looping with Hexer Powersponge.

It’s a great blade.

#33 — August 2011

After trying many blades, I always go back to this one. It is the best. I found that backhand with Tenergy 05 is perfect.

#34 — November 2010

Innerforce ZLC is the perfect blade for you if you’re looking for a blade that will give you the power and control you need to dominate your opponents. It’s made with a combination of ZLC and ALC carbon fibers, which give it a unique feel and performance.

The Innerforce ZLC is a great choice for players of all levels, from beginners to experienced professionals. It’s perfect for players who want to improve their game and take their skills to the next level.

#35 — August 2010

Compared to my previous blades, Gergely and Sardius, I can clearly say that [this blade] has improved my game in terms of control, feel, and ball placement.

#36 — May 2010

This is the best piece of blade I have ever owned. It is indeed perfect 10… nothing less.

#37 — January 2010

This blade offers an excellent balance of power and control. Its exceptional performance earns it a perfect score of 10. The blade’s carefully crafted design allows for precise strokes and powerful shots, making it a joy to play with.

#38 — January 2010

The best racket I have ever used.

It is full of power and has a wood feeling. It is great.

#39 — November 2009

Now that I have been playing with this wonderful blade for more than a month, let me offer a comprehensive and enthusiastic review.

Firstly, the blade offers a medium feel, occasionally tending towards medium-hard, though the feel can vary. The speed is exceptional, allowing me to hit shots with the pace of the table tennis ball itself. Furthermore, the control is outstanding, enabling precise placement of shots. When paired with Tenergy 05 FX and Spinart, this blade transforms into a veritable looping machine. I highly recommend this blade upon its release in the U.S.

Please note: Some people have inquired why I possess all of this new Butterfly equipment. This is due to the fact that my friend is employed by Butterfly.co.jp.

#40 — October 2009

This blade is awe-inspiring and comparable to the Zhang Yining ZLC. It provides an exceptional amount of speed, allowing you to regulate each hit with precision. The control is remarkable, giving you the impression that the ball can remain on the blade for as long as desired. My specific blade weighs 84 grams, contributing to its overall excellence.
